I’m here in Coeur D’Alene for a quick 2 day business trip and was getting hungry around 1:00 pm. Saw this place in this strip mall also I decided to stop by without even checking for Unilocal reviews coz I was that hungry and just needed to grab whatever. Oh boy, this place is a gem! I ordered stir fried Thai chicken with basil and bell peppers and it was delicious! The service was quick and food was served hot and fresh! I will definitely come back here when next time I’m in town!

My sister and I were on a road trip and stopped in town to stay the night. We were looking for take out and picked here. We were happy with our choice. Pad Thai was good and my sister had the red curry. No complaints for a strip mall style Thai restaurant. Staff was also friendly over the phone and in person.

This is a good place to do lunch, not so for dinner. The food is so so, but a good lunch place to go. Just the right amount of food, I had the beef yakisoba, and my son had two chicken something’s one was totally flavor less with rice and the other one I can’t remember but it also was flavor less. To bad for him, mine was good not great but it was flavorful. Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think.

The boyfriend and I really needed to find spicy fresh affordable food on a sunday night here in Coeur d’alene and we found it all here at Asian Twist! We started our meal with a huge fresh shrimp spring roll for only 2.50 and then both had the chicken pad Thai! It was delivered hot freshly made with just the perfect amount of spice and a fresh lime slice to top it off! We are both super satisfied!

The only reason I am not giving a 5 star is because there was no peanut sauce dish on the menu. However, the basil dish with steak was awesome! The flavors were fantastic. The other two dishes at the table were the pad Thai and the green curry special. Both very good too. Clean establishment with quick and attentive service. The price was great for all that we had to eat and drink. I would go back if I lived here. Just in town for a conference.

The pad see ew was very good. The rice noodles were perfect and the flavors were very rich. These compare very closely to Ping Pong in Las Vegas which is my all time favorite.

Best Asian(really Thai) I’ve had in CdA. And maybe the best yellow curry(always with tofu) I’ve ever had. Fantastic flavor! Also shared shrimp summer roll and beef pad keemow and can report all were great. Fresh veggies and perfect spice. Not too oily. My husband and I are spice hounds, so we ordered 4 out of 5 and thought it fine. I likely could have gone to a 5.

Beef Teriyaki was OK. Presentation was very ho-hum as the beef with veggies which were about 80% onions were sprawled on a plate that you would find in your mom’s cabinet. My wife had the Thai Fried Rice which tasted just fine. Stop in and have a try for yourself as the area didn’t seem to really have much in the way of Asian fare.

I was a little put off by the service in this place. First off. My husband and I both ordered drinks he ordered a coke and I ordered a Thai iced tea. The waitress never brought him his coke. We both ordered pad Thai chicken. I ordered mine on a spiciness of a 1 and my husband a 5. Let me say they were BOTH5 super spicy and I couldn’t eat it so I sent it back. Then I got the right thing pretty quickly. still no coke. Then we proceeded to sit there for about 10 mins while the waitress made herself a drink and rolled spoons. She even looked at us just sitting there staring at her and never came to fill our water or give us our bill or a box. I literally had to walk up to the front where she walked away as I was walking up there to ask for our check and boxes. I asked the other waitress for it and we left. Sorry about the 50 cent tip.

Wheat allergies… beware. Like the food and would highly recommend it, but with the high turnover of staff, consistency is lost. What was once a safe gluten-free dish causes extreme stomach pain today. Too bad… this place was great! The inability to retain quality staff, directly indicates the lack management talent.

It’s one of those unassuming little hole in the wall restaurants that you pass by daily and never think to drop by and try. How many times have I passed this place, I asked myself? Too many! You are allowed to choose how spicy you want your food. My kids don’t like spice, my wife likes a little spice, and I love it a lot. We can literally get each meal made to order. My wife orders the pad Thai every time we go. The boys get the yakisoba. I like to mix it up and try a little bit of everything. But my favorite is by far the fresh rolls. It’s hard to believe they are healthy! It’s not exactly cheap, but the prices are reasonable, especially for how good the food is. The ambience is okay. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Four stars all day long!

Our family was not impressed. Driving from Portland we based our decision to dine here based on the top reviews. The place was designed like a fast food joint. The food was overcooked and bland. The service was questionable and screwed up the order twice. I give fair reviews and this place does not deserve more than a two star rating

Once again excellent food. I would recommend! We had a minor miscommunication(my fault likely) and they responded immediately and fixed it. These people are awesome!

Really good Thai food & friendly service. I would recommend this place for anyone who likes Thai and is traveling through town. Would have been nice if they served alcohol. Would go again in a heartbeat. Vietnamese Iced Coffee was not served in the traditional way but that doesn’t mean you won’t like it.

Who would have thought that SPECTACULAR Thai food is right in this sleepy little town? Great Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice with fresh jalapeños make this a nice find. Don’t let the humble little restaurant front fool you; this is how really delicious food is done. I even spied on a few more dishes that also looked quite nice, one of which looked like drunken noodles, vegetables and white rice. I’m hoping to return!

Wow, I was skeptical coming through town at all the great reviews for an Asian place in this a small town but this was actually very good and authentic! The tom yum soup was huge and perfect — very tasty. The thai fried rice is also good and great spice level(I got 3 out of 5) — the pad see euw was a bit weird but still tasted fine. Reasonable prices, clean restaurant– I saw plenty of people eat in and order take out as well.
