Hajj Auto

This is the only place I will ever take my car. No matter how busy they are, for years they have always made time to fit me in as a customer. Recently, my brakes went and I got in a minor accident which made the front of my car look awful. When getting my brakes done, they asked about fixing the damage and I mentioned I couldn’t afford to do both at once. A month later, when I picked my car up from a standard oil change, they had added some screws to secure the front of my car that made my wreck of a car look about 85% better. They didn’t even charge me. That’s incredible customer service, the kind you won’t find anywhere else these days.

When we moved here last Spring I was recovering from an injury and looked for a full-​service gas station for the first time in years. I found Hajj Auto right on Main Street in Cohasset and they have been wonderful. Both my husband and I take our cars there for gas and light maintenance. We both have new cars so haven’t (yet, lol) needed any major repair work but we would trust Hajji to do anything we needed. He’s caught a few things for me on my way to the freeway (dashboard alerts) and he knows far more about my car than I do. My husband jokes that he’s better than an owner’s manual. Friendly and all about customer service!

Let me start by saying my family and I were loyal customers to these people for years. When Ali was around he always took care of us-​then came Mohammed. I had them price out a pair of tires for me a little ways back. I asked for the price for two and they gave it to me. It was slightly below Sullivan tires price for 2 tires of a brand name. I went with the cheaper option as the vehicle is not used frequently. They installed the tires and charged me twice as much stating the price they gave me was for one only. Why would I pay exponentially more for 2 no name tires when I could have gotten brand name for way cheaper? They lied to me and would not fix the problem and were extremely rude.
So now a year later or so a tire has a bubble. Went to get it replaced-​Hajj auto put the wrong tires on the wrong sides of the car resulting in the tires wearing uneven. So now I have to buy 2 replacements-​the wear is visibly there. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! On top of ripping you off-​they make careless mistakes!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! They are crooks! They have ripped off many of my friends. They overcharged me on work and used crappy parts that fell apart after a month. When I returned to complain they were rude and would not admit there was a problem.
Don’t waist your money giving it to these people. They r completely dishonest.

I think that they are fantastic. We do all of our service at Hajj’s and would go nowhere else. It is not often that one finds an old school mechanic who goes the extra step in order to help someone out. Hajj went out of his way to pick up my mother in law’s car in Hingham and bring it back for repair. He could have asked her to have it towed but he did it himself. Little things like this as well as the great service make me a loyal client.

We have been clients of Hajj for several years. They have done everything from routine maintenance like an oil change to major repairs like a muffler, and tires, and so forth. I feel strongly that we have received competent advice along the way. We are greeted with a smile, and called promptly when the work is done!
