I vary rewarding bagel place. Good variety, the standard array of cream cheeses (all excellent) and the coffee is very good. The bagels are toothsome and well-​prepared. Bagels ought to «resist» your bite a bit and these do. I have been here very often over the past 6 years and it remains consistent and very good. Nice management and the women counter workers are able and friendly.

What a great place to eat. I had no idea Atlantic Bagels was an establishment,
It is neatly tucked away and small. The food has extremely high quality. The cinnamon sugar bagels are to die for! The prices are reasonable too. I’d rather sit down at Atlantic and enjoy breakfast than hop in the drive-​thru line at Dunkin’s any day!

Sign on the door says «CASH ONLY — yes this means you.» Very inviting! Younger staff are friendly, older staff not so much. Bland bagels and weak coffee. Coming from NY/​NJ, I understand I have some high expectations. But with no other bagel options, this is the best around. Coffee sizes run small if you’re used to DD or SB. S, M, L are 8,12,16oz. The small is like a kids dixie cup. Better coffee across the street at French Memories bakery.

Three friends and I went to Atlantic Bagel after being ignored for over twenty minutes at 5 South Main. Disgruntled, we made our way down Main St and found ourselves at Atlantic Bagel. We were greeted warmly as soon as we arrived, finding a simple and delicious menu to choose from. The staff was courteous and helpful, quickly preparing our sandwiches perfectly. I had the #12, lox and cream cheese with onions and capers on a toasted bagel and was not disappointed. A big bonus was the fact that they had Hornstra’s chocolate milk (my favorite). We were so full from our sandwiches we didn’t even have room for the salad or homemade chocolate cookies we ordered. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Coffee is decent, and staff is very friendly, polite, and fast.

The cash-​only checkout has caught me a couple of times. I tend to not trust a cash-​only place, especially in the age of tablet and smartphone-​based card swipe readers that take 2% or less. They’re either hiding money, or too cheap to pay $ 0.10 to bring in a new $ 5 customer.
I would be making larger orders (bringing bagels to the office, for example) if I knew I could just drop in and not have to swing by an ATM ahead of time.
