Awful– had to call about delivery 3 times… each time they said it would be there soon only to call me after 3 hours to tell me it never left the building.

Hands down the WORST establishment I have ever been to. In the past year, I have had terrible experiences — the wrong food has been given to me, food poisoning, arrived to pick up a to-go order 45 minutes after placing it only to find out that they hadn’t even started making it yet… you name it. Tonight however was a disaster. After being out all day, exhausted and hungry, I stopped in there on my way home desperate for food. I had ordered my meal 20 minutes before arriving. There were four people working, one of which appeared to be strung out on something and proceeded to laugh when he noticed how busy it was. At almost 10pm, the line was almost out the door. As I was waiting, four families stormed out in a rage. The only woman working seemed to be the only one who cared enough to work hard at her job. I’ve tried to give them many chances but I will NEVER return. Absolutely pathetic. HIRE A NEWSTAFF.

Not my favorite spot but not much to choose from around here.

This was my first visit to this Papa Gino’s location. It is one of many on my route home from work, so I was bound to try it sooner or later. It’s located in a small strip mall, so there is plenty of parking. The inside has a unique set up and has updated décor, so no goofy paintings that I remember from my childhood! It’s dark but has ample seating and was quiet. Service was quick but I only ordered a couple slices. The food tasted good and was just the right temperature. My pouch of blue cheese was remembered too!:) The managers attitude combined with the look of the restaurant showed to me that he has a lot of pride in his store. He was cleaning windows, taking orders, answering the phone and bringing food out to customers. He also seemed to take pizza pretty seriously, as I overheard him praising his staff for popping«pizza bubbles.» Interesting… The only negatives?: Ran out of iced tea, but probably did not realize. Not the end of the world but I find this is a common theme at many other Papa Gino’s locations. Also, a small number of pepper and salt shakers. I was able to grab one nearby, just odd. Lastly, customers failed to return shakers of cheese and hots. In other stores I noticed staff doing sweeps pretty frequently to return those items. Again, not a deal breaker in the least. I will be back, I’m sure:)
