The Fresh Feast

I love this place. The food is healthy and tastes great. I now regularly get food here once or twice a week to have a dinner that is easy to prepare and good for you. My daughter loves their chicken tenders and their Mac and cheese. We Also really like their chicken pot pies. If you need a quick and easy dinner I highly recommend this place.

I cannot say enough positive things about my latest experience with the Fresh Feast. I called earlier last week in a bind because the caterer I had intended using for a luncheon went silent on me. I reached out to Julia after looking at the menu. I was met with a very prompt response, she was able to cater my event, and the food was exceptional. We received so many compliments on both the presentation and taste. I would order all meals here if I could! Thanks a ton!

My (now) wife and I worked with Julia at the Fresh Feast to cater our wedding rehearsal dinner. When we visited the restaurant to sample the food, Julia sat with us and talked a bit about what we were looking for in our meal, and about what she thought would work best given our needs. She was also able to work with the minor changes that popped up here and there after we placed our order. On the day of, everything arrived on time and exactly as expected, and the guests all loved their food! Highly recommended.
Pros: Food is fantastic (both the catered food, as well as what we ordered from the restaurant on separate trips to it). Prices are reasonable, especially given the area.
Cons: When emailing Julia, sometimes her responses would take too long before getting back to us, and in certain cases it would require multiple emails. In our case it was okay, since we had time, but if you are on a tighter schedule, might want to make sure to emphasize it. As you can see however, given the 5, this issue is easy to swallow when the food quality and value is so good.

Finding a great caterer with delicious food at a reasonable price on the South Shore is a daunting task, but Julia at The Fresh Feast is exactly what we hoped to find. This is the 2^nd time we’ve hired Julia to cater a special event at our home and once again she prepared a feast that had all of our guests raving… and eating her creative appetizers. One of our guests also has a catering service and raved about the quality and creativity of her food. If you have a special occasion and need a reliable caterer for a very reasonable price, give Julia a call. You’ll be thrilled and your guests will be even happier!

Absolutely the worst experience. I spoke with the owner to order meals for a family going through an extremely difficult and scary time. At first, julia, the owner, really sold me. She was helpful and told me to call for the week id want dinners delivered because they only serve what’s purchased fresh that week. She gave me a price that ranged within $ 150 difference. I said I needed a more exact number and she said given the circumstances she would make it work for a specific price. She was empathetic. I trusted her. I emailed to follow up, and her responces didnt get to me until days later due to «techinical difficutly,» which, by the way, her website is also experiencing. First sign of error. Her email stated what price to expect and to deal with her directly the day of. I call her the day of. She doesn’t remember what the meals were for, what the situation was with the family, or her price guarantee, and proceeds to hand me to her manager. The owner. Passed me on to the manager. I teared up as I talked to this woman because I had to repeat the reason I was ordering these meals. I waited 2 weeks to order directly with them because they «only make meals based on the fresh ingredients purchased that week,» Her meal offering was chicken fingers. Chicken fingers. And if i wanted more meal options with prices? Call back wednesday. there’s plenty of other companies in the area with terrific food. No food is good enough to deal with poor business tactics. This woman, the owner, sounds like her company is a side project and not taken seriosuly. When people are ordering food for life altering events — funerals, weddings, sickness — that company should be on point. She wasn’t even close. McDonalds could’ve done better. Shame on them.

I ordered catering from Fresh Feast for a birthday party with 60 guests and it was perfect. The food was all delicious, earning many compliments. Julia was extremely helpful in choosing a menu and determining how much food we would need. I would definitely use them again for future events.

Great Food made with care and quality. Everything is made to order, and made fresh. Service is always with a smile. Soups are to die for, chicken cesear wrap is awesome. Price is fair for quality.

The Fresh Feast is very aptly named. I was in the area and decided to check out this place and was blown away by the high quality and affordable prices. I had the soup and sandwich lunch special ($ 6.95): the turkey sandwich is made with turkey roasted on the premises and it was awesome – like the day after Thanksgiving turkey sandwiches, except this was made with fresh baked bread and a REALLY good honey mustard (wouldn’t be surprised if this is made there too). The soup was perfect – lots of meat, beans, and vegetables in a tasty but not salty broth. Then, if it could not get any better, I had one of their brownies. For $ 2 you get an incredible chocolate-​ly rich tasty experience. The top is sprinkled with chocolate chips. If you go, be sure to save room for one of these, or at least take one to go.

Had lunch here the other day and loved it! Great, homemade food (sauces, dressings, etc). Organic, local, vegan, gluten-​free options as well. I had a portabella mushroom stuffed with risotto and it was delicious. My daughter had a Caesar salad and drank the leftover dressing, she said it was that good. We shared some potato salad and my parents had chicken and tuna salad sandwiches that they really liked. Topped it off with a fabulous brownie. Great selections and good prices, all for homemade food. Can’t beat it.
