Food was really good, got myself a berry salad which had fresh vegetable and fruit. Decided to add the chicken for an extra dollar. The only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 was because it didn’t have a lot of options for food

I can only imagine this place survives as the backup to when the better restaurants in town are full. Which they all were. That said, the food wasn’t bad, but service was disjointed and unprofessional, plus, the restaurant layout was awkward. They ask for your name when you place your order at the counter, and then call out the food when they bring it out. Huh? That works if you get a legal name change to Chicken Caesar Wrap while you’re waiting for your meal. Weird. This is the type of restaurant you get when someone says, «You make awesome paninis, salads and wraps. You should open your own place!» And they do, but they need someone with business acumen or restaurant management experience to help them with«the details». Priced right, if you go at an off time, you may fare better. Couldn’t keep the tables clean or the napkins stocked, details that take all of 5 minutes. I’ll just wait for a meal at a better place next time.

Only stopped in to grab an iced Arnold Palmer(with green tea, please) and to use their restroom. Customer restroom-spacious and clean. I can appreciate that. I cannot speak for the food, as I made the mistake of eating somewhere terrible right before purchasing my beverage. I will say that my green tea Arnold Palmer was very refreshing, and they have lots of flavors of lemonades(strawberry, cranberry, raspberry). Not a huge fro-yo fan, so I don’t think I’d stop by again unless I were parched.

This is my go-to café after kayaking in Cold Spring and they never disappoint. I’ve been there a few times — I always order a panini(because I’m starving after kayaking) and the paninis are huge(«That’s what she said».). But seriously, they come with Tostitos scoops and salsa on the side too, although I am trying to not put back all the calories that I burn off during kayaking, so this time around, the owner(Jimmy?) gave me a little serving of blueberries and strawberries instead — much appreciated! The paninis also come with a side of bread & butter pickles too. So far I’ve had the turkey/swiss/avocado and the gouda cheese/avocado/tomato — both delish! It’s a very cute place if you want to dine inside(very clean and I love the mint-colored wall) and there are tables on the sidewalk too. I always take mine to go as I have a train to catch back to NYC(thanks for sharing). The service is quick and friendly and I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Always good. Relaxed, plenty of seating, free WiFi, great service from the owner who is always there. Some games, books etc for kids, newspapers for adults. When you go in you’ll probably see Armando there buying us all coffee after losing a bet. He’ll buy you coffee too if you ask. He’ll be wearing Grey t-shirt and shorts, regardless of the Season or Temperature.

The garden café rules. Jimmy is an extremely sweet guy and his sandwiches are really great. I see a lot of change in this place since it changed hands last year. I ate a sandwich prepared by the previous owner and afterwards contemplated committing sipuku with my plastic knife. It is a relaxed But not overly precious or cutsie place for a sandwich or snack. I was inspired to write this review after finishing an amazing breakfast sandwich handmade by jimmy himself. It was actually amazing. My daughter loves the hot chocolate. The coffee is better than I thought it would be. Another reviewer mentions allergies. My daughter has allergies as well. Grow up. Eating out is hard when you have a kid with allergies. Why not take out your rage and frustration on a small business. Thanks for reading!
