This is a family restaurant, the kind you find in a neighborhood and not a strip mall. The food is cooked to order, so expect a little wait time between courses. The pace of the meal is European, not American fast food. So take the time to savor the food and enjoy the company you’re there with sharing the meal. The portions are fairly substantial, so don’t fill up on the bread and garlic knots before the entrée arrives. If you do find it too much to finish the staff will wrap it to-go. The menu has something to please anyone without the pretentiousness and prices found on some midtown Manhattan Italian restaurants. Overall, it’s a nice place to enjoy a real meal.
