Used to go every two weeks — good nail place. Yesterday, they’d mopped and didn’t dry the floor at all. I had on the styrofoam flip flops they give you and slipped. Boss looked down at me, then walked away. After realizing I was bleeding, they made me pay full price for the pedicure, and the manicure I never finished — I left with no polish on my hands. One of the weirdest experiences. Will not be going back.

I have been patronizing Philipstown Nails since their doors opened and have seen their business steadily grow. They work really hard and value their clientele while providing many beautification options in a clean and pleasant environment. I have experienced their nail, massage and waxing services and have never had serious issue with any of them. They are fairly priced and tend to go above and beyond. Some techs are more fastidious than others but that is not so unusual. I have my faves and they always seem pleased to see me. ;))) Queenie and her team are well worthy of being called the bestest place in the Spring to get your beauty on. :)))

I was excited when this place opened up because there aren’t a lot of nail salons conveniently located in this area. I went in right after they opened and was so impressed with how new and clean it was. Staff was very friendly and prices were reasonable. Unfortunately on my 3^rd visit, they turned me over to a less experienced tech. She was having a hard time seeing without reading glasses and probably should have let someone else do my nails. She made such a mess that I left before she finished. Hopefully they’ve corrected this problem. Being a new salon in a great area, I really hoped they could do well, but I haven’t been back since then.
