Araco Towing

I was having trouble with the brakes on my Jeep Grand Cherokee after coming through the Sierras on Route 80. The car was violently shuddering at 40 MPH, so I had to pull off the road near Colfax. It was Sunday night around 7pm so I was having trouble finding a garage that was open and was considering a pricey tow back to San Francisco when I was driving past Araco and noticed the light was on. I popped in and found manager Lee Wells hanging out and taking care of some odds and ends at the shop. Even though he’s not one of the mechanics, he was kind enough to help me diagnose my brake issue and give me enough of a fix to get me back to SF without needing to get my Jeep towed.
It certainly wasn’t Lee’s responsibility to fix brakes at the shop and the shop certainly wasn’t technically «open for business» late on a Sunday, but Lee was kind enough to help me out of the goodness of his heart and only charged me $ 20 for what amounted to about 2 hours worth of work for him.
Thanks again for the help Lee. I truly appreciate it.

These guys went above and beyond to help us get our vehicle out of a very awkward spot. They were friendly, helpful and professional. They were able to get us out of a spot that I thought was impossible!!! Thank you Lee, Jay, Sean and Jake!!!
