Applebee’s

The food in the end was satisfying but the service at this location was not, thankfully the manager corrected all of the mistakes our waitress was making — but with apparent frustration.
Disclaimer: Maybe she was overwhelmed with many customers (maybe 5 tables) on an unusually busy Wednesday night, but each table had 2 or 3 people seated and she messed up orders at least 4 out of the 5 tables — I was once a waitress. There shouldn’t be that many mistakes as long as you write everyone’s order down, label it accordingly, and serve it in the order it is placed or as soon as possible.
REVIEW OF THE FOOD
Artichoke and Spinach Dip: Honestly, as good as it can get!
3-​Cheese Chicken Penne: Creamy pasta and soft chicken.
Honey BBQ Ribs: Soft and sweet, but not a lot of meat on the bones.
Triple Chocolate Meltdown: If heated correctly (something we assume but are okay with), then is actually a very enjoyable dessert — a soft cake covered in hot fudge with cold ice cream. Also enjoyable with whipped cream.
REVIEW OF THE SERVICE
The first sign that she gave was mixing up our drinks. Didn’t think much of it because this is not a big deal of course, plus she could’ve easily mixed up sprite and water (although one is bubbly and the other is not). She noticed us switch drinks and apologized immediately but we really didn’t think anything of it. She then placed our order and rushed away.
We eagerly waited for our Artichoke and Spinach Dip/​Salsa appetizer… for an extensive amount of time. She passed by and told us that our appetizer was on the way.
It never came.
We eventually received our entrees from the manager. We asked him about our appetizer and he looked over at the table in front of us exclaiming, «She gave the Spinach Dip to another table!»
After bringing out another for us, I overhear him asking the other table if they ordered Spinach Dip. They said they did not (but were still eating it — so, yes, not only her fault since they could’ve spoken up that it was not their order).
Shortly, I overhear her apologizing to the people at the table behind us: «I’m sorry for the wait, your food will be right out. What did you guys order? The 3-​Cheese Chicken Penne and the ribs-​» The customers shook their heads right before she finished asking the question, «No, we ordered…»

After checking on how we were doing several times, we finally finished our entrees and decided to order the Triple Chocolate Meltdown dessert. We waited for another extensive amount of time and she passes us one time, her face lights up. I believe she must’ve suddenly remembered that we had dessert.
She shows up in moments and sets down our dessert. Our spoons were covered in chocolate and ice cream. I ask for another set and she agrees. We then notice a lot of grease spots all over the plate and saw that the cake looked a bit odd (it looked like a sponge). As we wait maybe 2 minutes, we notice her tending to a new table. We decide to not wait on the spoons and just attempt to wipe down the sticky spoons.
But as soon as we attempted to take a bite of the cake, the spoon would not let us sink into it.
It was rock-​hard.
It took a considerable amount of force in order to get that spoon into a cake that was supposed to be really soft. Immediately we called the manager and complained about our dessert. He started to exclaim, «She didn’t-,» but stopped himself abruptly and apologized to us, asking if he could replace it for us.
The second was much, much better.
Service can make me less likely come back to an establishment, especially when the food is not outstanding or «to-​die-​for.»

went to Applebee’s at 10:00 pm tonight to watch the game and got a drink. My friend ordered a drink and food. The bartender was not friendly, did not ask us for a refill of our drinks or if we wanted another drink. Once we got our items pretty much our interaction with the bartender was done. We waited for her to give us more service, but all we got was a print out of the bill slapped on the bar with no verbal communication at all. She was more concerned with the restaurant closing duties than serving us. I understand the restaurant was closing in an hour but we are still paying customers and deserve adequate service. I will never go here again and don’t recommend this location especially if you expect good customer service.

Went here on New Years Eve and the restaurant was VERY slow! It took more than an hour to get our 9 dinners out. And my moms was cold, along with an undercooked steak! :(I also asked for a mojito to celebrate the holiday, however they were out of mint… so! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! BTW, there are parking meters in the parking lot, so bring lots of change because you will be there a while.

Every single time I come here, the food is served lukewarm or cold. The staff tries to be helpful but all they manage to be are poorly trained servers who are merely doing the best they can with nothing. They are waaaaaaay too slow when it comes to checking in on customers. I’m just ready for the manager here to get things together. As a previous server myself, this is all inexcusable.

WORST experience ever!!! I always wanted to give this location and Applebee’s in general the benefit of a doubt, but I recently had the worst experience ever in any restaurant. 4 of us met up at Applebee’s for dinner on a Friday night and the restaurant was only less than half its capacity. We get to the hostess and she is so busy talking to her co worker that she completely ignored us and didn’t acknowledge any of us. She was loud and annoying to be honest. Since she never sat us down I asked if she was so kind to seat us somewhere, she did with an attitude. Then it got worst, no server acknowledged us for about 15 minutes so we got up and went to the bar to ask for drinks. 15 more minutes passed and still no one acknowledged our existence. We finally flagged down a server, once the food came out I noticed my order was incorrect I wanted regular wings they gave me boneless. No big deal I sent them back. Then the same server drops more boneless wings! Seriously!!! I sent the nuggets back again. And guess what happens next?! You guessed it, more boneless wings are dropped on the table. That’s when I lost my cool. By that time all my friends were done eating. I asked to see the manager which she really didn’t seem interested in my complaint. Not a sorry, a care in the world. So I’ll never return. And I’ll tell everyone to steer clear of Applebee’s in general.

No. Just, no.
I’ve never been big on Applebee’s ever. It just isn’t my cup of tea. My friend suggested we go here, so to appease him I went. We stayed all of 20 minutes.
I got the sriracha shrimp and a side of sweet potato fries. my fries were old, not hot and fresh at all. The sriracha shrimp was okay. It didn’t seem like something to eat the next day so I trashed it. I ordered the mango peach sangria at the coercion of our waitress — it came with a big orange slice and a curly black hair. I’m good on that. I’ll NEVER come back

This was the worst experience I have ever had in an Applebee’s and we never even got an order in! We went in for lunch on Sunday at around 1:30 and there was no one there to seat us. After waiting a while we decided to go to the bar area and sit at a booth. 10 minutes sitting there and still did not get any service. When the hostess finally returned to the front, we walked over and asked if we could get a menu or a server? Without looking up she said they don’t like to serve children at the bar. Um ok. first you weren’t here to seat anyone, 2^nd my teenage daughter is with 2 adults and we are not at the bar… we are in a booth. They sure didn’t have a problem serving the drunk at the bar though. We walked out and went elsewhere. Don’t waste your time dealing with these kids because there are plenty of other choices in the area.

Applebee’s has got the worst service ever. they have this weird system of seating where if there are available seats, still a customer has to wait for 15 – 20 mins. Also the employees are rude.

By far the worst service ever!!! I should have taken the hint when I first got here and someone was going off on the manager for her incompetence. We walked in and decided to seat ourselves at an open table when’s there was no host/​hostess waiting at the entrance while other stood and waited with plenty of tables for them to be seated. They changed our seat then waited 20 minutes to even be acknowledged again to take our drink and food order. I ordered a rum punch and sent it back for lack of rum and all punch and replaced it with a water to find tiny black specks floating around. 45 minutes later we asked how long before our food would arrive and the waitress says that they just had to «shut down the kitchen.» We canceled out order paid for what it was we did receive and left. I should have looked at the Unilocal reviews before even going but I didn’t think that an Applebee’s would be this bad.

I come to this location a lot only because it’s the a 7 minute drive for me. The service is either hit or miss, it’s never really good but it can also be pretty bad. The most recent visit, which is currently still going on, the food took forever and when it finally came out stuff was missing and it was partly cold. I really only still come here because I have random cravings for Applebee’s.
The only time they’re fast is when you ask for the check.

The food is always OK but the service just stinks. Been waiting over 20 minutes just for a check. I would really like to go home.

The food here is gross. Last time I went in, I ordered the mac n cheese. It looked so good in the picture I had to get it. When it came out it looked so disappointing. It was disappointing. It was watery and salty. Not happy that I spent $ 30 for a crappy meal.

The bad customer service started as soon as we walked in. We entered the restaurant at 3:26 as part of a church group. There is a total of 47 of us.
When we got to the tables, I asked the Manager on Duty, Chrissy, if I could order from the Bar Snacks menu since they set us in an area on the other side of the store. She told me, «We would prefer that you sat here so that you can receive faster service.» I then asked her, «So what you are saying is that you are making me sit over here and then are not going to allow me to order from the Bar Snacks menu?» She then turned and walked off in the direction of the back of the store. It was so disrespectful. To force me to sit in a separate area and then to tell me that I can’t order from the menu that I would have been able to order from had I sat in the other area is ludicrous.
The restaurant only had two other parties, a total of about 5 people. We just brought you a huge amount of business and to be so sorely disrespected is appalling.
The bathrooms were clean and well stocked.
The food quality was pretty good. I ordered the 2 for $ 25.00 deal. I ordered the 7oz. Sirloin and the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp as my entrees and the Boneless Wings as my appetizer.
The one highlight of my visit was the service received of our server Drew. He did an excellent job. He is the only reason why I gave this restaurant 2 stars.

The food took forever to come out. Then when the food arrived my boyfriend’s fries were luke warm and my food took another 5 minutes to arrive. This restaurant isn’t as friendly as the average applebees

Went last night and had happy off appetizers and a 6.99 burger. Not great but not entirely awful. Pretty good deal and service if it’s late and you must eat!

Went here late night and did the 2 for $ 25 deal. The food was pretty good and so was the service. This place will unfortunately never get 5 stars because of each of the last 4 times I’ve been here their floor is never clean… Ever. You all really need to do better!

Chocolate cake with ice cream was good. Cake was warm, something you can’t really find much in American places.
I couldn’t find anything special about Thai Shrimp Salad. Steaks were looking and tasting good. Cocktails are too much sweet, well I am not American, that may be a very good reason for me to find them too sweet.
Sweet potato fries, barbecue chicken etc. were all okay, I couldn’t find anything special about them either.

This review is late. I felt compelled to say something since they only have a couple of stars. My family took my daughter on a low key birthday. Our waiter was AWESOME! I forgot his name but he is a black gentleman with dreads. He was so personable and was like a friend was talking to us. He granted our crazy requests with no sweat! The food was good. Steak was cooked medium rare exactly how my dad likes it. Oh and this Applebee’s is completely renovated.

This restaurant provides reasonable good new American style food with reasonable price: 25 dollars for two people. The only issue is that the two main entrees may takes 45 minutes to be ready at the table. Another attention is that parking nearby takes 4 coins for 1.5 hours. Overall, this place is good but not perfect.

Visiting town and as soon as I walked in I was ignored! The hosted saw us and turned around ignoring the fact that customers walked in! Then when I said «excuse me» she just looked at me and was like «yeah?» I should have just turned around right there! But knowing it was Applebee’s I expected more and thought it was just her. Then a few minutes later after she walked around asking where she should place us we where seated. A few minutes passed and nothing! We had to ask who was our waiter? When he arrived we just ordered drinks and desert. The drinks weren’t good! Never again coming here! Stay away people go somewhere else with your money! Applebee’s shame on you with this location!!!
