When they built the Comcast Center, this place closed down for public sport events. Here are the facts: no air conditioner, seats so tight you need a crow bar to get out of them, knees are in the back of the person in front of you, no seat cushion, a few concession areas, no shops, one bathroom. Yup, the Comcast Center is clearly a much better sports facility. Having said that, this was a classic arena and was by far the better venue for home team advantage. This place was loud and it rocked. I miss it. Today, it reopened only for Midnight Madness. It would be nice if they ran other events here, but I guess Comcast is new and offers a better environment. I will miss you Cole. So much history and memories.
