They have a varying selection of retro games, but they gouge the hell out of some of the prices. Some of the dreamcast games I found for $ 20 – 30 less on ebay. Plus I remeber once seeing a copy of super mario rpg there that they were charaging 100 for, that game usually goes for 60 on ebay. Your better off going to the record exchange in silver spring. However I can’t completely write this place off because it’s the only dedicated retrogames store in the area, I tried going to flea markets but i had trouble finding anything older than ps2, is it me or does the dc area suck for retro games. I still go there because not all of there prices are offensive. And plus I hate gamestop and there s**ty monopoly.

I visited the store a few months ago. The workers were very polite to me and helpful. they let me look at all these games that I was interested in. i did buy some of them. They have common games to very rare games. I like how the retro games are in the show cases shrink wrapped so dust doesn’t get in them. They said that they take apart the cartridge clean it and put it back together. Some of the prices for some games are collector prices, but since they clean the games good and a lot of the games for many systems seem to be in great condition it might be worth the cost to you. At least you know what you are getting here instead of something on ebay that is listed as good condition and isn’t. I got lost coming here and the owners called me back to make sure I was okay. i really appreciated that. They helped me get there since I missed the exit and had to get off on the next one. They have a lot of inventory, so enjoy the place and take you’re time here. Some good games are only a few bucks and up. I can tell that the owners are passionate about gaming and the customers gaming needs. They are in a strip mall. Check them out sometime.

If I could rate this business zero(0) stars, I would. The manager is not a man of his word, does not practice ethical business principles, and the workers are nonchalant about your gaming issues/needs. On the first visit, I went with a friend of mine to see if they could repair his PS3 — they said they could(KEEPTHISINMIND!). He noticed a couple of TVs behind the counter. He talked with the manager who then took his information so he could place a downpayment on the TV. It was«promised» that they would not sell the TV.(KEEPTHISINMIND, TOO!) On the second visit, he made a payment for the TV and left his PS3. He was told it would take a week, or less, to repair it. Well, it actually took two and a half weeks and they could not repair it — no telling if they took any hardware from it — AND they sold the TV. And guess who they sold it to??? One of their employees! Wow! Some promise of security, even with a downpayment and additional payment in less than a month’s time. I will never return here. And I don’t know where people found the large selection of games that they sell because I surely didn’t see many. You’re better off going to GameStop a few minutes down the street.

I learned about this place from Game Stop when I had two consoles that needed repairs. I brought them up there, and when they were ready(I do not have a car) I had trouble figuring out how to pick them up. They shipped them to my office(free). Everything worked wonderfully, the price was great, and I give them a High Recommendation. I certainly could not have replaced them, even used, for the repair price. Great place!

Very large selection of PS2/XBOX/PS3/360 games. Some older games, but the inventory on those vary. Prices are much fairer than similar places in the area.

Fun place to visit for any animé fan. Good animé selection, as well as video games and animé merchandise ranging from plushies to keychains.

They seem to be a fairly small business and I always see the same people working there, which is nice. I like to see people I recognize. I’m not a big nut about Animé, but my roommate is really into it and we like to try new things there. They have a little rental section(for just $ 2 or $ 3!). Anytime we are browsing, a regular will chime in and tell us if what we are looking at is good or bad. They also take in trade-ins. PC cab be a little pricey for video games and accessories… but hey, they let me bring my dog in there sometimes instead of making me and my little buddy stand outside while my friends are inside.
