When I originally dropped off my kid’s computer, I was in no hurry to get it fixed(given it is summer time). However, after spending weeks trying to get these guys to call or email me back just to get a status on a hard drive replacement, I started to worry. Once I went knocking on the door, all I got was one employee pointing the finger at another as to why I hadn’t gotten a return phone call and why the repair hadn’t even started. They also complained about management and employment issues, which I didn’t find to be my problem. Then I was promised to have the computer done in three days. Again, I couldn’t get anyone to call or email me back to confirm it was done and a pick up time. A week later my husband went to pick up the computer for fear we would never get it back. The computer was in pieces. We got the computer back but it was missing the screws and it would not boot. After I went through numerous steps to get the computer to boot, it appears they replaced my 250GB hard drive with a 40GB hard drive. Though I was on a budget, I never would have agreed to this if I was told upfront this was their intention. I tried to resolve the issue by asking that they take the 40GB back, give me a refund, and give me my original parts back. They stated they would give me $ 70 of my $ 90 back. I agreed and now it appears they have reneged. I’m left with paying for a computer that is still in pieces, missing screws, and a hard drive ¼ of the size of the original eight year old hard drive.

Found these guys on craigslist after a computer I bought online had an internal fan going haywire. They were very friendly, picked up and dropped off the machine to me at my house after repairing it, and the price was less than what Best Buy’s Geek Squad wanted to charge me. It took a little while to get the machine back but I think it was mostly due to a delay on parts. I’d use them again if my computer’s on the fritz.
