Phil Mountjoy of P.M. Sound Technology, LLC was recommended to me as a person to do repairs on amps. I had a Fender Deluxe Reverb from ’74 that had never been serviced. Needless to say, it needed some work. I also had a Marshall JTM60 from the early 90s that had developed a problem. I had gotten a rough estimate over the phone from another local place that repairs amps, so I wasn’t too shocked when I found out I was looking at a few hundred dollars for the work. Anyway, I got the amps back today and they sound super, especially the Deluxe Reverb.
I think Phil must work out of his home because the drop off and the pick up of the amps were done on the street in front of Falls Church high school. But since he had been recommended from someone I knew, I trusted the situation. Glad I did.
