New Desi grocery store opened inside Zip’N. One of the largest selections I have ever seen of pure Indian products with real imports from India in College Station. And right across the street from the University. The operators of the Zip’N Shell have proven to be dishonest in the past by charging tax on food(illegal in Texas) and likely keeping the money instead of reporting it, AND over charging for gas. Lately their gas prices are better and more competitive and the new Indian Grocery Store Aapka Apna Desi is very impressive. In Aggieland you will find the best selections of Indian grocery here; Aapka Apna Desi Store has a huge selection that seems to be strong on frozen. I’d say it’s now the 3rd best Indian store in College Station /Bryan. Quite impressive selection. Was able to pick up frozen items not seen anywhere else in College Station. But DONOT allow them to charge you tax on food. They might try and that’s illegal in Texas.
