DoubleDave’s always seems to satisfy. Went in for lunch today to use a Hooked pizza buffet special($ 7.00). The lady who works the register is always friendly and greets us with a smile. I am not a huge fan of buffets generally, but pizza buffets are totally cool with me. The selection is always good and the pizza is rotated pretty consistently. I will knock off a star because for some reason the salad bar is a huge pain in the ass to access. Some items are pushed in the far back and the hood over the bar makes it very awkward for taller people to access. This bar was definitely designed to be accessed from both sides. Please either replace this or simply put items on the first two rows. I do not know the cleaning schedule of this location, but whenever I am in I can tell this place is a bit over due for a deep clean(FOH&BOH). Nothing atrocious by any means but I can definitely see a few spots that can use some love.

A literal pizza trough for those wanting a lot of decent pizza for their lunch time buffet. Please note I said decent, not award winning. If you have never been, then you should at least experience Double Dave’s once and sample the pizza rolls.

Great pizza, wish there was a double Dave’s back home. Guy taking the order didn’t seem to interested in the service, so I guess it’s a good thing we got it to go. The pizza was huge, and even good the next day. I recommend this place, and will probably go there again when back in Texas.

I am done with this place and taking my money to Gumby’s instead. Every time I go in there, the service is almost always half assed and there was a girl that worked there that always seemed to have a crappy attitude. Just some advice, if you hate your job, move on somewhere else. I also FREQUENTLY went in during the buffet hrs and grabbed pizza rolls from the buffet, to go, and today I was told I couldn’t do that? I regret always leaving tips in the forever empty tip jar on the counter.

Just called and ordered 20 custom pizza rolls, and the woman(her name is «Cocoa») says that I need to order at least half a dozen. I repeated my number of 20, and then explained that a half dozen are equal to 6, and thus, their requirements were met. *FACEPALM* Just remember boys & girls: these are the types of people whom vote en masse, and are the precise reason why rule of law republics devolve to banana republic democracies, and run right off the deep end.

Go for the pizza rolls. Location was not crowded, but college students have evolved from«college town» restaurants to YouTube and inhaling aerosol cans/ac unit poison. Fn momos.

Happened to be driving through College Station and it was around dinner time, I’m not familiar with the town so after seeing this place decided to stop and take a chance with it. Great decision! I choose a random menu item(Phili Cheesesteak) and boy was is it delicious! The place is clean, the food is very fresh and brought out in a timely manner. Great atmosphere for a place that is much… much more than just a pizza joint.

Half-assed Daves. That’s what this should be called. During my brothers body building stint he became an accidental connoisseur of pizza and I take his advice. He once stated to me that the Double Daves in Houston kinda sucks. I can confirm that now. The cutsie name that implies that something is better as in doubled is false. There are no double toppings in fact this pizza sucks twice as much as Dominos used to. It seemed to have half the cheese and toppings and tasted worse than my best experience with high school cafeteria pizza.

4 hungry friends came in here to get a snack before heading off to the Santa’s winter wonderland and thank goodness, we stopped here! UT Austin’s got a stand nearby campus with Double Daves so coming here, it brought back memories of the delicious Peproni Rolls! You gotta try them! it’s double dave’s pizza crust wrapped around pepperoni and provolone cheese! Dip it with the marinara or ranch dressing. you’ll come back hungry for more. one piece of advice, eat it while it’s still hot. it’s no good when it cools and gets hard.

Best pizza buffet in town, hands down. $ 8 for the buffet and a soda and they’ll make any pizza you request. Go for the thin crust BBQ chicken or pepperoni with jalapeños. The local franchisee also runs Copy Corner and really cares about customer service. If you have a problem and say something, they should take care of you.
