I don’t know why this place only has three stars this place is really good nice place to sit and hang out or watch the game and the pizza is on point made fresh

«Hey, could I get my rolls extra crispy? The last two times they’ve been raw in the middle.»
«No, we had a sign on the register last year that said we couldn’t do them extra crispy.»
I don’t know if it’s them rushing the rolls through, or just laziness. About 1 out of 5 times it’ll be perfect, other times is is either totally raw in the middle, or incredibly old rolls. After going here for about 5 years on and off, I’m done trying to chase that 1 out of 5 experience.

Gumbys has the best delivery people that will go out of the way to please the customers. This pizza may be expensive but is definitely the best

Gumby’s is delicious. They were kind enough to leave our pizza at the doorstep because we were on our way home. True customer service.

A couple buddies and I split a 20″ pepperoni pizza. Cool environment. Decent amount of TVs. The pizza itself was pretty good. Definitely one of the better pizza places in College Station. The cashier was friendly and patient as we decided our order.

Place is ridiculous! I ordered food, waited three hours then called them. Waited another hour and they still didn’t know where the driver was. Place needs to get there s*** together.

Got the heart attack pizza. And loved it! Crust was perfect and crispy on the bottom. Just the right amount of toppings. Service was friendly. Can’t wait to return and try something different.
The only complaint I even have is about other customers. I do wish some girls knew how to be ladies and not talk so loudly. And if you are going to talk that loud it really shouldn’t be about anal sex. You are in a public restaurant! Also, throw your trash away!

1^st off with a husband who works the night shift anything that stays open until 3am is wonderful. It’s also great that it is able to accommodate my food allergies. To top it off it was one of the best tasting pizzas I’ve had.
I’ll be honest that I didn’t expect too much from a place called Gumby’s pizza and was open till 3 AM. Usually open late/​all night means you get so so service and quality. We were hungry enough that it didn’t really matter. To our surprise though, the pizzas got to our house earlier then was estimated, both our pizzas were just what we ordered, and tasted great.
Mine was a sauceless spinach, mushroom, and tomato pizza. All the ingredients were fresh and cook to perfection. It tasted better than a pizza I had at a restaurant that claim to be fresh Italian pizza and had similar ingredients. My only complaint is that it was a little greasy/​oily on top so I had to kind of blot it dry. I’m not sure if they used olive oil because I didn’t order sauce or if it was just moisture from the cheese. I only disclose this for the attempt to give you my full experience because it was far from a greasy pizza which we’ve all had before at normal chain food pizza places.
My husband ordered a pepperoni pizza. He is a very picky eater and enjoyed it very much. He described it as the way he remembered pizza tasting in the past. Though that’s not a lot of detail, trust me that’s a good review coming from him!
We will definitely be frequent eaters here as long as they keep up the quality of work consistently. Consistency seems to be something that is lacking in most places today, so I’m not going to hold my breath. I’m hoping to be pleasantly surprised though!

I LOVE Gumbys. Their build your own pizza rolls are my favorite. Even though there’s a bit of a wait, and my order is usually wrong, they are always so kind, understanding, and quick to fix their errors. Always fresh and so freaking good.

Good late night eating. Convenient drive thru available. Ran inside to use the restroom while our call ahead carry out was being prepared. A little smokey and dingy inside. Ordered pizza rolls and loved their options in sauces/​dips. The jalapeño ranch is a must and the marinara was a little on the sweet side. I can see why this is a college staple here. I now have to stop by each time I’m in town over night.

There are two things you can get at Gumby’s; the pizza rolls and the BBQ chicken pizza. Everything else in my opinion tastes like shit. I have eaten here more times than I can remember and every time I try something new I regret it. Just get the BBQ chicken pizza and the pizza rolls. I would give them four stars, but they charge me an arm and a leg for their BBQ chicken pizza.

I love Gumbys! They have the BEST pizza rolls & they are open til 3am, they rock! Order the double stuffed rolls & u can get 2 toppings, yummy! They put garlicky butter on top of them!

They say there is no such thing as a bad pizza; even bad pizza is pretty good. They were wrong.
Pros:
1. Food was hot.
2. Location is good.
3. The weather was nice.
Cons:
1. Lousy customer service — the guy offered us the Wednesday special, then spent literally 4 minutes staring confusingly at his computer screen trying to figure out what the Wednesday special actually was. (Its a one topping 12″ for $ 6.99)
2. Taste is deplorable. That 12″ pepperoni pizza was worse than terrible. It was an aggressive kind of bad, forcing its bland greasiness into the pores of your soul. How can the crust have NO flavor? Why does the cheese taste like vitamins smell?
3. Time. It took about ten minutes to take my order, and about 20 minutes to bake that 12 inches of hate. Not too long for a pizza, granted, but given that taste-​wise it falls below Little Caesars, it seems fair to compare the zero minute wait there to Gumby’s nearly 30 minute drive thru experience.
Do yourself a favor and skip Gumby’s and go buy the cheapest, sketchiest sounding off-​brand frozen pizza you can find in the back of a gas station. It will still taste better, and you won’t have to wait as long.

Going downhill fast!!! This place used to be pretty good but I’ve gotten it twice now and it tasted like it had been made, frozen, and heated up in the microwave. Rubbery and no flavor. We couldn’t even finish it… and we love pizza! Jalapeño ranch still on point though.

THE BEST PIZZA IN B/​CS!!! I love the BBQ chicken with pineapple and red onion. AMAZING pizza rolls (50¢ on Tuesdays)
Their sauces are BIG and the spicy ranch is the best. I can’t say enough good things about this pizza joint. It’s not super new and clean, it’s not a ritzy place– and it doesn’t have to be. It doesn’t have to lure in customers for any other reason beyond their food (like their neighbor with all their fancy lights and new building… Whose food sucks)
Perfect dough. Great marinara. Good cheese that’s perfectly layered. They just know how to do it.
Did I mention their hours?! 3am! And a drive thru! Don’t pass up on this little gem.

I’ve been eating DDs pizza rolls since they opened. Heard that Gumby’s were good too so I tried a few. They are a bit lighter and softer than DDs and are brushed with oil or butter. Tasted good and I like the thin ranch for dipping. A good alternative for a bit less dough and a softer pizza roll. Also had a side salad which was crisp and fresh.

Great pizza rolls! Can order 1 roll or as many as you want! They are also usually ready to pick up through the drive-​thru. Had good customer service when I went through the drive thru late at night.
Will definitely have to pick up some rolls on a Tuesday when they are 60 cents a piece instead of $ 1.35 a piece.
Note the menu that is posted on Unilocal online is not correct. They only have a limited number of things like pizzas, salads, wings.
