I would put the food at the same level as Panda. Noodles were good, seafood rangoon was tasty. Had the Kung Pao chicken and Broccoli/Beef. The sauces were good, but MW does not appear to provide spicy food. I was surprised at the large portion sizes. Not your typical mall food… plenty of food for your dollar at MW.

Wow, my review disappeared, I was 1st to review. WTF Unilocal? Chinese food with a fair portion for the price in a Ghetto mall.

Went over to College Station to visit a friend over the weekend. After walking around in the Post Oak mall, decided to have lunch at the Manchu Wok Chinese Restaurant in the food court. I went with the 2 item combo. The price was pretty reasonable compared to what I used to see in Houston. I got Chow Main noodle, General Tao’s Chicken, and Sweet n’ Sour Chicken for $ 5.99. They gave you a lot of food! The guy in the front kept filing the food on the plate. The General Tao’s chicken was much better than any of the mall Chinese food I have had. It was juicy and full of flavor. It easily tasted as good as something that you could get from P.F. Chang’s, but for 1⁄3 of the price. The Sweet and Sour chicken was almost like supersized chicken fingers in this crispy Chinese batter. It was crunchy and tender at the same time. They gave you the sweet and sour sauce on the side. The sauce was surprisingly light and refreshing. I had no trouble finishing all of SnSC. For the Chow Main noodle, I asked for a side of the red chili oil since I like my food spicy. I mixed the chili oil into the noodle, and it was pretty nice. The noodle was the yellow egg noodle kind, mixed with some vegetables. The people there were pretty nice. The guy in the front did not have perfect English, but was very courteous. They gave one free refill for the soft drink. I think that was that only store in the mall food court that did it. It was a nice little perk for me, cuz it was HOT last weekend. I could not finish the General Tao’s and the noodle, so I had to go ask for a to-go box and a bag. It made for a nice little late night snack. Overall, it was very nice food at a good price, and the service was decent too. Will go back again.

Had to go to the mall so I decided to grab luch while I was there. Had a craving for Chinese. Everything in the heat table looked very fresh and appealing. Grabbed a two item plate which includes noodles or fried rice. I went with the noodles For my entrees I wanted something spicy so I chose the Kung Pao Chicken. I also got the General Tsao’s Chicken. With a drink the total was 7.66. Portions were large. I was given one napkin(with noodles). The Kung Pao Chicken was no where near spicy. Flavor was so so. The General Tsao’s Chicken was absolutely flavorless. To me, that’s a hard one to mess up. While sitting and eating two different customers came up and had to a while for someone to come out of the back. Overall not a pleasant experience.
