They have great food but service is not the best. Also, you don’t get served first if you don’t speak Spanish. Make sure you check out prices of what you order and check the receipt! The last time we went, we calculated that our meal would be around $ 25 and some change. She rung it up on the cash register correctly but then when we looked at the receipt from the credit card reader she charged $ 40! When we mentioned it to her she got in a panic. We gave them another try and called in to order, but she couldn’t hear me and all I could hear was music blaring. I’m thinking the smartest thing to do since they have a cordless phone is to walk away so you could hear me or turn down the music!

The food was ok. Service ok. When I went to pay, the cashier said $ 12.21. She put in the cc machine $ 12.81. When I asked, she said there is a $.60 cc charge. I asked where was that information posted. She told me in the menu. At lunch they have a buffet. I was not even shown a menu. By the cash register there is a sign in 4″ letters stating no checks. That was very visible. When you attempt to hide a charge from your customers, they feel cheated. I feel cheated by these people. Shame on you. I understand there is a cost to taking credit cards. I understand most restaurants build it in to their prices. I do not find it acceptable to be told one price and charged another. Even big oil companies can post one cash price and one credit card price. Shame on you for thinking your customers won’t notice. Shame shame shame

The very best fajitas in Texas. Reasonable prices, large portions. The food is super fresh and authentic. No freezer food here. My new favorite place to eat out.

Best Mexican food in BCS, HANDS down! The fajitas poblanas are excellent. They make their own tortilla from scratch and they are awesome. We eat here regularily and the wait staff is always friendly and attentive. Dat food tho! Everything I have had here has been excellent. Moderately priced and awesome. If you’re in a hurry in the morning, they have the best breakfast tacos, I cannot stress this enough. I haven’t mentioned the best part… The GREENSAUCE! It is spicy and very flavorful, but hardly overpowering. I guarantee, if you haven’t had their green sauce, you never tasted anything like it. Not for the faint of heart, for it can be pretty hot, but if that’s your thing, I HIGHLY recommend Mi Familia Coco Loco

This place was awesome! I was looking for a quick breakfast burrito before church and walked in to find a delicious breakfast buffet with lots of variety! Tortillas were homemade and delicious-Not only did I get a breakfast burrito but I got to make my own with plenty of fixings! Also, for being very busy-the service was awesome, friendly, and very attentive. I love when my coffee is filled just as it’s starting to get low! Thank you, will definitely be back!

Two words… pest control. I should never have to wait on a roach to finish crossing the table so I can put my plate down. As if that wasn’t bad enough, his cousins were running around too. Not bad food but I prefer my Mexican without the extras…

Pretty darn good. Service is really laid back and a little slow, but the food is well worth it. The beef fajita dinner plate is at least $ 5 less expensive than anywhere else for the same quality. Their flour tortillas are really good also. Definitely will return.

I had beef fajitas. I was not impressed. The condiments were lacking in volume. It was loud and the bar service was ok at very best. I asked for a margarita on the rocks and got a frozen one. The fajita flavor is the reason for the 2. I personally didn’t care for the place.

I have had good food and bad food but this was horrific. I got up and left it on the table. The tea was good lol.

If you want an authentic Mexican experience, this is THE place to come. This place does not have the luster that attempts to appeal to crowds that label Tex Mex food as their venture into Mexican food(think of Jose’s). Instead, this is a hole in the wall establishment that has truly authentic Mexican food served with large portions. Positives decent menu selection, daily specials, fair prices, 100% authentic Mexican, great salsa(the green salsa is so potent, spicy and addicting. Negatives service What you should get Barbacoa plate — This is a plate I have ordered hundreds of times from so many different places all throughout the country, this is easily my favorite. So much so that I missed THIS plate when I was in New York. The taco plate and smothered chicken plates are also safe choices, but you literally cannot go wrong here. I have ever ordered the hamburger and it was very good. If you are looking for an authentic Mexican experience, this is the place to go. I LOVE this place and you will also. This place is literally a great example of just how great food can be in BCS. I’m not a college student hipster that gets joy out of spending $ 9 to eat two tacos and say they went to some trendy spot. Coco Loco is the place to come when you want authentic food with no hype.

This is more of a review on my boyfriend’s behalf than my own, but after what I saw last night and this morning I DONOT recommend eating at this establishment. My boyfriend got food poisoning from eating what we can only be sure was OLDEXPIREDCHICKEN from a quesadilla. He spent the entire night with stomach pains/nausea and vomited his entire meal. Woke up this morning a bit better but is still feverish and nauseated from the ordeal. WILLNEVEREATHEREAGAIN.

The parking lot is always full. I’ve got to try it… I do. NO. Just NO. The food is flavorless. It’s like the cook was me… going through the motions … trying to imitate someone who gives a dang… or knows what they are doing. Rice-no. Beans-no. Chicken-no. Flavorless. And… The place was not very clean … but I wanted to give them a pass on this because we came in just after the lunch rush … BUT … the ladies that were now cleaning… shaking rugs out inside the restaurant right near the buffet(we did not eat from there thank The Lord) so they could sweep up. Sweep up piles of dirt. Can I take your order?

This place has great breakfast tacos. It has a breakfast buffet on weekends. Also it has a lunch buffet on week days. Both pretty good. Fajita tacos also very good. They sell fresh tortillas by the dozen. Some of the best homemade tortillas! Some times they can mess up your order, especially if it’s a to go order. So, always chech your food before you leave.

Best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had. Better than some famous breakfast taco places in bigger cities(i.e. Fuel City Tacos in Dallas, Laredo Taqueria and Chilosos in Houston). The tortillas are great, the eggs and cheese are perfect. Definitely a must-try…

This place is so good! It’s small, cheap and have really good food. They even have a drive through. The breakfast tacos are great. I got a migas taco and added guacamole and potatoes. My second taco had bacon, egg, cheese, beans and potatoes. I was so full and happy when I left. Happy Eating

Just stopped in again yesterday for some breakfast tacos to take on a road trip. The potatoes, egg and chorizo tacos were nice and filling on warm fluffy flour tortillas. They even sell the tortillas by the dozen at $ 2.69. The single beef fajita taco I tried was too fatty and I did not care for it. Service is fast and friendly, prices can’t be beat. While it was a little too close to noon to try the breakfast buffet that ends at noon, we took a glance at it and that’s a great deal for $ 7. Probably one of the top several breakfast buffet offers in Brazos Valley. We are going to try it again as well soon.
