Crawfish Étouffée was great. It is served with dirty rice and that was also very good. Portion was very large and the amount of crawfish tails more than adequate. Also had shrimp fondue appetizer. It was delicious! The drink I had was also very refreshing. I just can’t remember the name of it. Picture posted though. Staff very courteous!

Best Chicken fry ever! Will definitely come back again… So tender you could cut it with a fork.

This is decent Cajun food. Salty and not authentic. Po-boys are not good, sauces are salty, and it’s just not great. If you want mediocre food at a chain restaurant — this is your place.

We walked here from our hotel for dinner. I think we have eaten at a Razzoo’s before, but it would have been years and years ago. We had a wonderful dinner here! We got a mix of items including friend gator, spicy chicken wings, fried catfish, a chicken salad, and Étouffée. Everything was really good! Lots of flavor, the spicy chicken wings were very spicy. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu. They have some items not on the menu so be sure to ask. We would definitely return if in the area!

Great service & the food was amazing. Packed full of flavor and the drinks were delicious. We got stuffed jalapeños and they were by far the hottest ones i’v ever had. My bf got this skillet with a little of everything and we couldn’t stop saying«this is so good».

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and it was great! The staff was super friendly, as soon as we entered they starting talking to us about school and what we were majoring in. I think one of them was trying to hit on my roommate but I’m not sure. Our server was Jacob, dude was mad funny and kept us laughing(he’s from Colorado so I think he’s about that blasé blasé life). I ordered the catfish po bo($ 10) and it was pretty good but my friend’s shrimp po boy($ 10) was awesome! Both sandwiches were HUGE and came with seasoned fries(some of the best fries I’ve tried in College Station). We also ordered some fried pickles and shrimp for our appetizers which were also REALLY good. If you’re looking for something cajun and want to spend a little bit of money for A LOT of food, check out this place. My friend and I are definitely planning on coming here again.

This place is awesome! The atmosphere is great, and the food was excellent. I got the shrimp po boy and loved it. They also have some really cool drinks if you’re looking for a fun place to grab dinner or celebrate a birthday. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the service was slow, but I would still highly recommend Razoo’s!

I was super excited to try this place, as my co-workers have bragged about their experiences in other cities. We went on a lunch outing for work, and the food was pretty good the first time, but it seems that every time I have been back here, the food continues to go down hill. The food taste like it is all pre-frozen meals that are warmed up and served to you. The food tends to be more on the salty side, which is crazy for me to say because I like my food a little on the salty side, but if it’s too much for me, I know others probably won’t like it. I’ve tried multiple dishes on the menu, and they all just have a commercialized taste to them that I would much rather not pay a premium price for. The drinks from the bar really aren’t much better. I tried the Gator Punch, I believe was the name of the drink, and it tasted watered down as soon as I got it, and tasted like a cheap wine cooler more than anything. Probably wouldn’t go back, unless it was paid for by our company again.

Enjoyed our recent lunch here. Cajun has been slim in Aggieland for almost always. Today we have Remnant of Nawlin’s in a gas station on Southwest Pkwy, Swamp Tails on Wellborn and now this. Long are the days of Crazy Cajun’s on College Main and Hebert’s. This chain reminded me of Joe’s Crab Shack. Same exciting décor, overly excited staff, 765,000 varieties of T-Shirts you can buy to help them advertise, and LOUD music. The food was salty as is Cajun and the lunch menu was somewhat fair priced. Easy parking.

They won’t sell you crawfish if you want it for to go. And the reason was they wanna make sure that my order fills me up and so they can serve me the corns and potatoes? I was very disappointed!

A nice place in a great area with friendly service. Portions are big and food was certainly tasty, but it took about 45 minutes from when we ordered to when the food was delivered, and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. Overall a good experience.

Have to brag, been to Razzoo’s in other cities, but first time at this new hometown property. Well, I’ll have to say it was busy, but we were seated as soon as we walked in, our waitress«Michelle» was AWESOME! She actually provided the best service I’ve had in a long time, quick, always checking on us going out of her way to talk, attend too and entertain our son too… Truly a servants heart! The food was absolutely awesome. The Jalapeño Catfish dish… Awesome flavor, cat fish cooked perfectly and the bed of rice was flavorful and cooked perfect. The chicken fried steak, awesome with mashed potatoes, awesome and I could get enough of the green beans, not your Mommas! They are delicious, truly Cajun flowered! Oh, the wife wanted the Bread Pudding, WOW, not like any traditional BP, but is was great!

We finally decided to eat at Razzoo’s last night. We had the fried gator tail and the Cajun combo skillet as well as the gator something drink and a watermelon drink. We were carded as sometimes still happens(we are nearly twice the legal drinking age), but what I did not like at all is that they take your ID and disappear with it for 4 – 5 minutes to verify it. Upon confronting the server when she returned she stated it’s the store policy and they do this also when you buy a gift card??? The gator drink was really good and well worth $ 8, but the watermelon drink tasted like a very sweet over-priced wine cooler. The food was really good, but we will not buy another alcoholic drink here until they change this policy. Maybe I’m a little too security conscious, but when you walk away for 5 minutes with my ID that contains all of my personal information, that doesn’t sit well at all with me. Food I would give 5 stars, this ridiculous ID policy gets 0, so I’ll give you guys a 3.

You know, if you are going to be a fast food chain, at least you gotta come with it. You gotta bring it. Make your shit as real and as authentic as possible, and don’t let nothin get lost in translation as you open up shop from one location to the next.(I was pretty disappointed how stuff got lost in translation with Popeye’s. In New Orleans, Popeye’s is INCREDIBLE! Everywhere else, Oh Lord no. Anywho.) Razzoo’s. A chain that made me take a second look at what it means to be a chain. Everything on the menu was so familiar! Shit I’ve eaten growing up, shit I’ve eaten before… but to actually see a chain do a rendition of these homemade Cajun dishes and kinda get it, Wow. At least two steps above Pappadeaux cause the dishes here take a stab at being more authentic/real to Cajun cuisine. Not exact, but close enough. From the ettouffee, to the alligator, BOUDINANDDIRTYRICE! Shrimp creole, andouille sausage, red beans & rice It was good! I have to say: I approve this chain Some things were seasoned or prepared a little differently than I expected(I’m used to ettouffee being more yellow from the crawfish fat and a bit thicker, and I think their seafood gumbo should’ve had crabmeat, crawfish and bacon added to the other stuff already in it) but wow! Everything had good Cajun/cayenne/spicy flavor and seasonings! and the batter on the crunchy fried stuff was pretty good and crispy! I love anything battered in cornmeal. And the decoration was super fun with all the Mardi Gras themes. And the portions were huge… you know, Texas sized. I can’t wait to try the Po’Boys and the sauce in the Tchoupitoulas! Next time. But you need to add some frog legs on that menu. And if you continue to grow, don’t let your recipes get lost in translation.

Just found this new(new to me) restaurant in College Station. It is very exciting that we have Cajun style foods in town. I had the combo skillet which many reviewers have already mentioned. It is a big plate that I can only finish half. Taste good but a little bit spicy. The shrimp taste fresh. I also had the fried cat basket. It is very hot and tasty! The raw oysters are also fresh but a bit too small. Our order came in a timely manner and the service was good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good but some of the tables are just a little bit close.

Been to Razzoo’s twice now. Slow service, food ‘ok’. Second time in I ordered at double scotch, neat. Received a smallish scotch on the rocks. Was foolish enough to mention I’d ordered it neat, the bartender took my glass back, strained the ice out and placed a water-thinned, still smallish, scotch and water in front of me… not impressed, not coming back. If it wasn’t 100 yard walk from my hotel I would not have gone the second time.

Razzoo’s goes on my «Chili’s» list. My Chili’s list is my list of reliable mid-market chain restaurants who do high quality versions of basic dishes. I love Chili’s and eat there once a week. Razzoo’s is a serious candidate for joining the weekly rotation as well. Razzoo’s is a Cajun place.(no duh). It does all the standards — including fried alligator. It has the requisite salads and burger for those people who want something other than cajun. Otherwise, you know the drill. Red Beans and Rice. Po Boys. Etouffe. Blackened fish. etc. Execution is solid and flavorful. Portions are large. There are Cajun places who just put out Tabasco sauce or Cajun Chef. But you get classiness points for having your own hot sauce. They have their own hot sauce and it is first rate. It went all over everything on my plate and everything tasted real good. Like Chili’s they have a respectable bar — so if you want to drink and watch the game, this is a good place to do that. Service is super-friendly. They have a large laminated plastic menu that has lots of cajun jokes and colorful cajun figures(gators, louisiana, junker cars) … It’s Jeff Foxworthy funny the first time, but the jokes probably would wear thin with repetition. The menu is colorful though. Everything was great Except for one thing … :.( Leaving Razzoo’s happy as I could possibly be With visions of five stars dancing in my head. I just happened to pass by the Brazos County Health Inspection. They got an 85 out of 100. 90 – 99 means they are just nagging the restaurant about minor stuff. 89 and below starts to get eyebrow raising. The review had just been done a week before I came. That sobered me up a bit. But everything else was wonderfully pleasant. So lets hope they can get the bugs out … Even if that means literally.

The addition of this restaurant has been much anticipated. Cajun is one of my favorite ways to enjoy seafood. Started things off with the seafood gumbo which was good and appreciated them providing the fillet to add just a bit more seasoning. I like a very dark grew this one was a little lighter than I prefer but still very good. My disappointment was that they provided one good sized oyster which was excellent and then script by giving little bitty baby shrimp. Also had the jalapeño fried fish but was disappointed the spiciness was in a cream sauce which was OK but not memorable. Boys had popcorn shrimp which was very good and something I will try next time. Hubby had jambalaya and étouffée and he said it was really good. Service was OK substituted salad for side dish and it got forgotten but overall they were prompt getting my tea. Will be back next time I will try the stuffed jalapeños to get the zing that I crave!
