The food is the same at most pope’s but the quality can differ a bit. The staff here is sub par, it seems to be both hostile and antogonist internally. The whole place inside and out reflects the«I don’t give a crap attitude» and thst’s too bad. I will always choose Popeye chicken over KFC, even though you pay more it is just better. But this location needs to have a complete makeover before I happily go back to spend 40 – 60 dollars for a big spread. Gus’ is more money and a further drive but that is where my next take out chicken will come from.

First off I really do like the chicken here. Will not be going back to this location. Used to go here once a week, then after a couple bad experiences would go once every few months. Last visit ordered a 16pc meal(with tax $ 35). Asked the woman(Kaliyah) boxing the chicken if I would get 4 of each piece, and she told me I would. Get home and find I got 7 wings, 5 legs, 2 breast, and 2 Thighs. Went to the website on the receipt and filled out the complaint, 1-Dont like getting lied to by the employees and 2-dont think I should get 7 wings in a 16pc order of chicken. Left my name, phone number, email, and address but never heard back from the company. I can only assume it is acceptable at Popeye’s for the employees to lie to their customers and also give them mostly wings in a 16pc order.

This is the worst Popeyes location I have ate at. I am a Popeyes fanatic, I love it and have tried most of the locations in the Memphis area. First off the woman at the cash register taking my order was super rude. However I pretty much overlooked that, maybe she was just having a bad day. I ordered 6 chicken strips with a side of red beans n rice and coleslaw. The strips were horrendous. They literally tasted like a hot dog. For a split second after my first bite I thought I was eating a hot dog. I ate 2 of them and then gave the rest to my dog. She seemed to like them. The red beans and rice were watery and tasted like toilet water. After 2 bites I also gave them to the dog since she drinks toilet water sometimes anyways but she wouldn’t touch them. The coleslaw wasn’t bad. All in all, the worst Popeyes experience I have ever had. I will still eat Popeyes, it is usually delicious, but it will be long, long time before I eat at this location again.

Popeyes serves the most delicious crunchy mild spice or spicy fried chicken. It is served hot and moist. The French fries are also very good with a nice touch of heat. The servers are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean.

Standard Popeyes, with one really great employee(Linda at the drive-thru), and a ton of terrible ones. Food takes forever, and they will forget your sauces(check before you leave), but it’s standard and really conveniently located. Also, the lobby closes at 9, but the drive-thru is open until 10:30. It looks closed, but it’s probably still open.

Orders are taking 20 – 30 min this evening it would seem. That is not cool. The food was okay. The red beans and rice hit the spot. They remodeled. The floor still looks old and funky though.
