Amazing selection of records, the owner is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
As dumb as it sounds, I was floored by the fact that the owner invested in a record cleaner and cleans all of his records before putting them out in the floor. Having purchased a fair share of dusty and ragged records, it does mean a lot when someone cleans records before selling them. The record looks nicer, sounds nicer.
Can’t get any more simple than that. Perhaps someday, I will have a couple thousand bucks to invest in a VPI executive pro deluxe record cleaner, but until that day comes, I will remain humbled that there’s some proprietor out there that cares enough about a used product to clean it for resale.
It also doesn’t hurt that the owner is super nice and courteous and willing to listen to my ranting ass for longer than 5 minutes!

How often do you go into a business and find an hour slip away like seconds as you peruse the merch, your eyes wide open and your mind racing as each option seems better than the last? How about a place where people line up and patiently wait just to talk with the owner? The last time it happened to me was when I happened upon a little shop in the Philly ‘burbs called Repo Records.
The smell of the record store and the enjoyment of finding treasures both old and new, it’s exactly what I needed. More importantly, it is exactly what Collingswood needed.

Wow, this is a great addition to downtown Collingswood. They are very well organized and pretty large. They seem to specialize in older records rather than new releases. Good selection of rock, jazz, blues, pop, etc.

Yes yes YES. This store is predominantly rock and jazz with smaller sections for new music, punk, reggae, etc.
It’s so satisfying to flip through the records here: great selections at great prices; huge dollar bin section; informative labels stuck on the plastic sleeves and NOT the album covers. What more could you ask for? This place is a win. Your afternoon might disappear in here (especially if you sift through the dollar bins). Check this place out. Being in a record store is an experience, and this one is definitely worth your time.

came here on a Sunday afternoon to browse. found some awesome stuff and got to hang out and listen to some old records. great selection, friendly and knowledgable staff, reasonable prices, clean and organized. awesome place!

Awesome new find. The owner of went above and beyond to make me feel like I was at home. He showed me the layout of the (recently new) shop and everything was very organized and clean. His prices are very fair, condition of records great, and his selection covers many different genres. I recommend a trip there as soon as possible. This was from a last minute trip heading back to Philly on 2÷12÷15 (Thursday) and it was close to closing time and he kept the place open :) I found everything from rock to comedy to old school rap! 45s, tapes, CDs, and lots of vinyl!
