BEST Mexican food in the area. I’m so sad they closed. RIP Towie’s.

I decided to come here based on the reviews and the fact that it’s only 3 minutes from the office. I was a little confused that some people are calling this place a coffee shop, it definitely didn’t look like one. The décor is a little confusing too since this is a Mexican/Deli shop but they had«café-esque» wall décor and small restaurant seating. They replaced the comfy chairs for more tables and seating. I was going to sit outside but«The Chew» was on tv so I stayed inside. The guy manning the shop was very nice and attentive. My food came out in about 10 minutes, the wait was not long at all. I ordered a burrito with salsa verde on the side and had a bottle of diet coke, $ 9, not bad for a big portion of fresh food. The burrito was pretty good so I’ll be back to try other items on the menu. I do wish that they had fresh guacamole and chips as an app or a side on the menu.

Delicious Mexican! By the outside of the store you would never be able to tell how delicious the real food really is! It looks like a coffee shop but tastes like a 5 star joint. Enchiladas and chicken chipolte pizza were both so flavorful!

Love this little gem! I get the buffalo chicken wrap and it is on point! Real chicken and a crisp wrap. I hear great things about the other items as well! Prices are decent as well. Great drink selection.

I love it here! Great, fresh food and a wonderful selection that I don’t get tired of. The breakfast is incredible and the empanadas are too. It is a little walk from the rest of «restaurant row», but well worth it for healthy, casual, comfortable dining at a great price.

Holy Smokes! What a find! Most delicious burrito EVER! Atmosphere is smart, hip & off the beaten track. This is THE place to greet, meet & eat. Seating out front and plenty of space inside. Staff friendly and accommodating. Ingredients fresh and super tasty. Priced at a very slight premium but worth every penny.

I just stumbled upon this place as it is in an odd area of Collingswood towards the end of Haddon Ave. You would probably never end up walking by here since it isn’t too close to the shops downtown. I would describe this place as somewhere between a café, market, and a bodega. I had a great chorizo, egg, and cheese on a bagel this morning but they did have a few more breakfast options such as pancakes and breakfast burritos. Talking to the guy running the place he mentioned that they also have tacos and some nice options for lunch. You can sit down and eat there and they even have delivery. I think this is a great option for lunch as opposed to the tons of Italian spots in Collingswood. Street parking isn’t too bad in this area either.

Stopped in a few times over the past week, ordering a variety of stuff. I have tried the tacos(Beef, with onions, yummy!), a pannini(caprese, also tasty and nicely-grilled), and a breakfast sandwich(pork roll, egg, and cheese — huge, easily enough for two, with more meat than you’d expect!). All three were delicious — not fancy, but fresh, flavorful, and well executed. This place would make a killing if only they were a few blocks closer to Collingswood, but I bet with their location, they’re going to do just fine. This place probably has the best breakfast sandwich in Collingswood now that Roney’s is gone.

They have tasty sandwiches but I’ve been here several times and it always takes at least 20 minutes to get my order even if no other customers are around! The service is very nice however. Stop by if you live nearby and be prepared to wait a bit.

Order the off menu or daily special mexican dishes. That stuff is great and worthy of the trip. The chicken tacos are almost always available and rather awesome. Mexican pizza is worthy of your consideration as well. Owners are super nice. Hope this place does well.

The place is cute. The cook/owner is very nice. The food is ok. The portions are large. The pricing is right but I’ve had much better sandwiches at other deli’s in the area. They had no homemade dessert/sweet stuff which I expect at a coffee shop. The only stuff I saw was all packaged. The mexican fare they offer is also just okay. I have had much better in the area. The food took a long time to come out. This place is ok, definitely not 5 stars.

Saw this place while passing though and stop for breakfast. This place is very mellow and low key. They offer a variety of foods for breakfast to dinner. Will definitely stop by again if I’m near by

Yummy pizza, cheese steaks, burgers and Mexican food, all seasoned perfectly. They deliver too. Ask about their daily specials.

This place is awesome. The food is all made fresh to order so takes a little time but is well worth it. The green sauce is made fresh daily and is delicious. The Mexican Pizza is enough for 2 – 3 people and I am heading up to have the huevos for breakfast. Definitely try a cappuccino as they make great cup. Cheesesteaks and BLT are a winner too. I am a fan.

Tried this place after reading a positive review in the Courier Post newspaper. It sounded so good I went for lunch the day I read the review. Ordered two pork and two chicken tacos. I’m a big fan of tacos made with fresh ingredients, which is pretty difficult in south jersey. I loved Towie’s tacos! I will definitely return and try some other menu items. The place was clean and the price was very reasonable, $ 8 for the tacos.

Towie’s opened about three months ago on the stretch of Haddon Avenue that is sometimes overlooked, as stores are more spread out and it’s mostly residential. It also happens to be the part of town in which I currently reside, so I have no excuse for having taken three months to show up at their doorstep. I walked in tonight around 7 and was greeted by a nice person manning the shop. He handed me a menu and I quickly settled on a honey mustard chicken and provolone cheese hoagie. I then sat down in one of the three comfy chairs they have up front and watched some of the Everybody Loves Raymond episode they had playing on the TV. In addition to some comfy chairs, they also have a splattering of tables, coffee offerings, pretty much any can of soda you could desire(including San Pellegrino, which I purchased), baked goods, and a grocery section toward the back. I also noted a sign for wifi, an ATM, a restroom, and the fact that they deliver.(I, personally, have no reason to order delivery from them, being that I, quite literally, live down the street and am not actually THAT lazy.) It’s small, it’s cozy, and it’s warm. Prices were also reasonable. My fancy soda can, generous sandwich, and a slice of Daisy’s marble pound cake(which is expensive at my job) all amounted to less than $ 12. Not bad at all. Welcome to Collingswood, Towie’s!

I live very close and usually have coffee in my office but on this, particularly rainy day, I grabbed a cup from Towie’s and it was very good. Both feet in the door and the warm, inviting ambiance makes you want to sit and shop on the internet all day or just relax with your macbook air. It’s decorated very nice inside and surely has the charm of historical Collingswood.
