I ordered their dinuguan and its the best! It reminded me of my grandma’s cooking. They serve a lot of great, home tasting filipino foods. I gave them 3 stars because the waitress who took our order was rude.

Always a go-to for Filipino food or late night grubbing(or both). The staff who work here are generally nice and pretty funny but not always attentive, but you don’t necessarily go here for the service. I ALWAYS order an ube shake. ALWAYS! I have a bias for ube, but it’s simple and good and pretty much ice cream. I like to get the bangus w/garlic rice and eggs, but I like their lechon kawali as well. The krispy pata is great, but HUGE so if you order this bad boy, you must share or prepare to take it home. Other honorable mentions are the kare-kare and the palabok. My boyfriend typically gets the prime rib special which is actually really huge and juicy. The only thing worth eating on there is the slab of meat as everything else is frozen TV-dinner status. So, not necessarily the BEST place food or aesthetic wise but it’s pretty good comfort food and a go-to for me.

Went there with 8 friends. 7 of us had prime rib. Only one of us finished it. All our orders were overcooked and dry. Very disappointing. I will never order prime rib from here again and prime rib is their daily special. Ha. Other food I’ve eaten there before was just fair.

An establishment where substandard food meets substandard service. If nutrition is sought, I highly advise seeking such elsewhere. A special thank you to one of the Café’s managers, Charade(the unpleasantly plump, Filipino woman in the off beige suit and hair highlights I can only assume to be quasi-blonde?) ^You were the partial inspiration for this review^

I’ve been here a few times and each time I get the comsilog plate which comes with two choices of meat, two eggs, garlic rice, and achara, which is a vinegar tasting sauce. I chose the longsilog, which is a sweet sausage, and the tapsilog, which is marinated beef. Usually I’m all about this meal but this time, I wasn’t satisfied. The longsilog was delicious but the tapsilog was very dry and it almost had the texture of beef jerky. I barely touched the tapsilog and I feel as if it wasn’t fresh. I appreciate the fact that the meal came out super quick, under five minutes, but I much rather have waited the extra time to get freshly cooked meat.

Our favorite midnight food spot. Not many places are open past midnight anymore. So have hunger, will travel. I’ve been here several times. Their bbq is delicious. Their atcharra is great if it’s fresh. Their cakes… I’d pass 5 stars for being open past midnight! Wooot

This is a great late night spot. I come here when I’m super hungry and feeling a little spontaneous. The menu is really big, which I like. It has both Filipino and Chinese cuisine so you have more variety to choose from. The food is alright, it’ll hit the spot when you’re out drinking late night, I personally don’t think it’s worth the price though. Service here is awesome. They’re very attentive and kind of have a family feel. the only downside is parking! It’ll be hard to find parking if the casino is lively.

My friend wanted to come here and I was a bit hesitant because it was also a casino? She told me the Filipino food here was good so we went and tried it. ATMOSPHERE: This restaurant is located in the casino. To go through, you need to have a valid ID, which is ridiculous. It’s like you’re getting carded to eat. The seating arrangement was kind of similar to IHOP, Denny’s, etc. FOOD: We all shared our food since the portions were HUGE! We ordered pork adobo and pancit palobok. I would say that the food here was all right. It reminded me of home cooked meal. The rice was also extra. CUSTOMERSERVICE: Most of the servers here were Filipino and some were Chinese. I was kind of glad I was finally able to speak to someone in my native language. Our waitress was exceptional and refilled our water every time and asked us if we needed anything else.

I have had takeout here multiple times with their amazing tapsilog and garlic rice. Tonight is the first time I’ve sat to eat in their restaurant. Waitress is rude if you are not some sort of Asian. Staff seems to be nicer to Filipinos than to other ethnicities. Waiters were smiling at other Asians, talking nicely to them and gave me and my friend a dirty look when she had to talk to us. She seemed to be in a rush. I had to yell at her back that I wanted hot chocolate because she left so quickly. As for the food, it is quite good Filipino food. The corned beef silog was decent, but I think I would stick to my tapsilog next time. This place would be better is staff treated everyone equally and stopped being racists. This is why I gave 3 stars instead of more.

Didn’t expect much from this place because it’s a 24⁄7 casino dining area. Pulled up after the club to get some late night drunkchies and I ordered the Chopsilog which is pretty much garlic rice, egg and some pork chop pieces. Low production value for pretty high price but then again. It’s a casino diner. Food was greasy but decent. Heard mixed reviews on the customer service as it varies from time to time. Overall mediocre restaurant but convenient business hours!

My boyfriend and I had come here two nights in a row. For the first night, it wasn’t our first choice but I’m glad we went. We were guided by one of the waitresses to our table and the tables/utensils were pretty clean. Once we had ordered, I was surprised by how big the portions were(I ordered a rice plate — scrambled egg with BBQ pork) and my boyfriend ordered a rice plate as well. Our waiter, I believe his name was Jay, was very nice. Excellent customer service! Always checked up on us and made sure we had enough water, etc. All in all, total came to be around $ 30 or so. Not so bad for huge portions but also wouldn’t come here on a regular basis to spend $ 15 for a meal. Second night in a row, we had come here because my boyfriend was hungry and now that we know the café is open 24/7, this will likely be our go-to for late night cravings. They have a wide variety of Filipino food, soups, etc. This time, he had ordered a different rice plate and I only ordered lumpia shanghai(I believe it came with about 10 pieces). We ordered chicken egg soup(?) to top everything off. Again, portions were good and Jay was there to serve us again. The 4 star review is for their price range. We will be coming back again!

This is the spot to go to after a night out. They’re open 24⁄7. Nothing tastes better than corn beef or bangsilog after a night of drinking. I know it’s super greasy and all, but it tastes so good and I always crave it late at night. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything else on their menu besides their silog. They have Chinese food here too like pan fried noodles, chow mein, etc… The food is decent, but their service is really a hit or miss here. Sometimes it takes forever to just have them give you utensils or take your order. Sometimes they make mistakes on your order or take forever to bring it. Always good for a quick, late night meal. If you wanna hit up the casino next door, you can also. I don’t know how it is since I’m not a gambler. If they take too long to give you your bill, you can always walk up to the front and just pay for it.

I’ve found myself coming to Café Colma a lot since I wrote my last review. Mainly for the convenience of being open 24 hours and it’s pretty easy to get a table there. It’s nice to have them as an option for Filipino cuisine in my area. I took my cousin here from NYC because he was in mood for some Filipino food. Being closeby and always open, Café Colma was easily available to get a table, which is why we chose to go there instead of other popular spots like Patio Filipino or Fort McKinley, where most often you needed to have a reservation ahead of time. And as for my cousin, he had great time here and enjoyed his food! As far as some of my Filipino favorite dishes here, definitely come for the any of their silog dishes. You won’t regret ordering them for any time of day. Their sisig is a very good portion and their bbq sticks are good, though way more expensive and not as meaty as Fil-Am BBQ. Their Chinese food dishes are pretty decent though. I came in late night with a few friends on separate occasions and had their chow fun noodles and Minced Beef over rice and both of them totally satisfied my late night hunger pangs. Overall, while the food is decent, their service has been hit or miss, mostly leaning towards the latter. Missed orders or food coming really slow have happened several times when I’ve been there. Because of this, I’m still giving Café Colma 3 stars with my update, but regardless of that, it’s still a decent spot to dine there any time of the day.

Back in the days where going clubbing was my thing, Café Colma had always been my spot to get a late night meal! Fast forward to many years later, I had a friend fly in from out of town and she was craving some good ol’ Filipino food! The menu here is an extensive array of different entrees of many cultures. As for my taste, I would always go for their Filipino menu. Especially for the Filipino breakfast, silogs(see-logs). Silogs are composed of one egg, cooked to your liking(scrambled, over easy, sunny side up, etc.), coupled with garlic fried rice, and protein of choice,(Longanisa, bangus(milik fish), tapa(beef), tocino(sweetend cured pork), and corn beef. My personal favorite is the corn beef silog with egg cooked over easy. With an over easy egg, you can break the yolk over your rice and corn beef, which has a unique texture and a enjoyable dish. The silogs are also served with a slice of tomato. For a silog beginner, I would recommend the Combo silog option. Here you can pick two meats if you would like to try more than just one. Even though the prices have been on the rise, the quality of the food has never changed with me. A very nostalgic place for me and a go to spot when I’m in the area!

Filipino fused Asian food that is conveniently opened during the late night hours. Located in a casino, you can gamble while at it. Good food. Service was lacking. It took awhile to get our late night munchies on. I only would go here because it is opened during the wee hours and when I’m hungrrrry then!

Food takes forever, service sucks, but then again I kind of expected it. A group of friends and I came around 1 am and the place was packed! They have a HUGE selection, Chinese, Filipino, American, breakfast, soups, desserts, really anything you can think of. I ordered the two eggs hash brown and toast, they gave me scrambled instead of over easy, and they forgot the toast until we asked for it and when it came the bread wasn’t even toasted. I heard their prime rib deal is pretty good but they were out of it that night.

Alright, my first review went on Lucky Chances Casino instead of this place. I have downgraded my rating from a 3-start to a 1-star. Service sucked. Food sucked. Manager sucked. Just about everything couldn’t have sucked anymore than it did. Why all this negativity you asked? We have been here before, in a big group & they have been even busier & our service was fine but for some reason the night we went, they weren’t busy & we still got crap-service. Took a while to get a table but it’s whatever, it always does. We took a seat & weren’t helped for a good 20 – 25 mins. Our group was a set of 10 people so sure, take long to make our orders but to TAKE our orders?! Bruh. C’mon. We had to flag someone down to take our order. STRIKE1. Our food seriously felt like it took an ETERNITY to get to us, I want to say 45 mins & even then it wasn’t complete. People in our group were missing entrees & sides. Groups around us that came in AFTER us got their food before we did. How? & Why? STRIKE2. The side that took forever was an order for A WAFFLE, just one waffle, that’s it. First reason: They’re still making it. Second reason: It’s on it’s way out. Third reason: They burnt it & used the last of the waffle mix. So in actuality, it was never being made, it was never on it’s way out & you’re FULL of CRAP on the waffle mix reasoning as I can YouTube how to make waffle mix from scratch so why can’t your chefs figure it out. STRIKE3! We were just ready to get out of there but of course, along with how everything else was going, they TOOKFREAKIN’ FOREVER. Just take our money & let us be on our merry way! Another 20 mins. passed before my cousin had enough & went to go talk to the manager. The employees pointed her out & called her the«big one over there.» When your employees bad-mouth you, you know it’s not a good thing. She was just a supervisor as it was super late at night or super early in the morning, however you want to look at it as. Can you believe, this supervisor started arguing with my cousin when she was telling her about our experience. She ended up giving us 10% discount which was crap compared to the horrid experience we had. We were all at the cashier cashing out when out of nowhere their sad excuse of a SECURITYTEAM doubled, out of nowhere. Like we were going to regulate or something. SMDH. THISPLACEHASREALLYGONEDOWNHILL. I didn’t even mention what I ordered because it wasn’t even worth mentioning. Okay, End-rant.

Late night eats of the mainly Filipino persuasion inside Lucky Chances. We ended up there after a night out in the city and were craving rice and fried meats. So bad yet so good. The wait was about 45mins to an hour for our table of 6. It was a little after 145am by the time we were seated and we were all starving. I had to order the lechon kawali with rice and the calameres appetizer. It was all fried, oily goodness. It hit the spot and then some as we needed this type of food to soak up all the shenanigans of the evening. My other friends got tapsilog, bangus sisig and other typical filipino breakfast dishes. Everyone liked what they had and we left with our stomachs and wallets full because one of my friends won a small jackpot playing 3-card poker in the casino. Free dinner! Like I said, the restaurant gets packed. Very busy… Expect a wait especially late nights Thurs-Sat. And they do run out of things on the menu as they sell out at times. Just in the time we sat down and were about to order, our waiter informed us that lumpia shanghai, sinigang and another dish I cannot recall were done for the night. So just FYI… But Café Colma is great for late-night grubs. Enjoy.

Last Friday night(or shall I say super early Saturday morning?), Peter L, another friend and I came to Café Colma for some late night eats. They offer American, Filipino and Chinese dishes. We stuck to the Filipino and Chinese part of the menu. *Egg flower soup($ 7.95) I think Peter ordered this. It had a lot of carrots in it which I didn’t really like. I’m not a huge fan of cooked carrots. But I ate around it. For some reason, soup always seems good to me as a late night dish so this was okay. *Comsilog(Spam & Pork chop): served with 2 eggs up, garlic fried rice & achara($ 10.95) I had a bite of the spam which was sooo salty. I don’t remember plain seared Spam being that salty. *Shanghai rolls(10) $ 7.95 I actually wanted the lumpia, but our server suggested the Shanghai rolls since the lumpia only had veggies in it. These were filled with pork and fried. Wanted something crispy so these fit the bill. *Adobo chicken: served with steamed rice & achara($ 10.95) The chicken was really oily. But it was super tender. Eating it with the rice was very comforting. *Lechon kawali: fried crispy sidepork($ 12.95) Fried pork belly! Good, but I can normally only eat a piece or two of lechon at a time. It’s so decadent. This version was a little dry, but tasted good with the sauce and sriracha. *Claypot fish filets with eggplant & satay sauce: served with steamed rice($ 10.95) I didn’t like this at all. The eggplant was slimy which created an unpleasant texture. Also, after trying all the salty rich Filipino food first, this didn’t have much flavor. Decent food for late night eats. I’d definitely stick closer to the Filipino menu as I didn’t enjoy the Chinese food as much as I did the Filipino food. If you’re hungry around 4 am in the morning, Café Colma is a good option.
