THEWORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER. My mother in law called ahead to make sure she could get a ham, and they said yes they would hold one for her. When she got there there were two lines-one being serviced by two cashiers and was moving slowly. The second line had four cashiers and the line moved quickly. When one of the two cashiers left the counter, my mother in law commented to her on the imbalance of the two lines, and she called her out right there in front of all of the other customers and staff. Saying«It wasn’t your place to comment on my staffing. We did you a favor giving you a small ham when you didn’t reserve one.» Sorry, but a little CUSTOMERSERVICE would have been nice and not a tongue lashing. And what happened to respecting our elders-my mother in law is 73! They should be ashamed.

Alejandra with the lip ring was really helpful and patient with my order!!! I was only given directions on what to buy and confused. She helped me clarify and get going with my day. Thanks again Alejandra! Appreciate it!

very upset with honey baked ham! not only did they totally mess up our online order but then they totally ignored my online fb complaints and then they had the nerve to delete all of my fb posts about the complaint, all of my fb responses to other peoples complaints, and then blocked me from posting anything else on their fb page! i paid over $ 100 for the«mini feast»: ½ turkey, 3 – 5 lb ham, and 1 – 3 lb prime rib. but what they sent was actually their«mini dinner»: 1 – 2 lb sliced turkey, 2 – 3 lb sliced ham, and 1 slab of bbq ribs. this is not what i ordered and it will not even come to close to feeding our guests! but what is worse is the completely unprofessional manner in which they have mishandled their own mistakes! no apology. no attempt to rectify their mistakes! UPDATE: 11/27/15,Friday: So NEVERGOTANYRESPONSEFROMHBH. NOCALL, NOEMAIL –NOTHING. So I called them. I was told«the BEST» they«could do» was refund me $ 19.95. That’s the DIFFERENCE between what HBH charged me(for the MINIFEAST that I actually ordered AND the value of the MINIDINNER that they actually sent me. SOHBH didn’t even attempt to apologize or compensate me for TOTALLYRUININGOURTHANKSGIVINGDINNER. THEYDONTEVENTHINKTHATOWEME A REFUNDONTHAT $ 19.95DIFFERENCE! Brisa was the epitome of what customer service should be. The day before Thanksgiving of course, is a busy time. The line was out the door and she took the time to see the checklist I needed for my company’s lunch tomorrow. She was very patient with me and gave me a better deal than what was even posted online! After a string of horrible customer service all day, Brisa definitely ended my last minute meal shopping on the best note.

Awesome food. Awesome menu. Awesome portions for cheapos like me. Needs more soup. I’ve only ever heard of buying an actual honey baked ham for the holidays, and didn’t actually realize they had a café aspect to their locations. Cranberry Turkey Sandwich on Croissant(5⁄5): delicious. Great for a sweet tooth with the sweet cranberry chutney and sweet honey mustard. Savory tastes from their wonderful turkey and topped with lettuce and tomato. Stuffing(4⁄5): personal preference, but I like a less-moist stuffing. It was heavy on onion and celery, but pecans were a nice touch. Mixed Green Side Salad with Italian Dressing(5⁄5): hard to go wrong there, but it was good, fresh greens. Subway style ordering : Having never been before, I was very slow to order, but didn’t feel rushed at all. I finally decided I wanted to ½ sandwich win soup combo, only to find they only had one of their 4 daily flavors prepared and it wasn’t either of the 2 I was considering. I docked a star for this — don’t promote 4 flavors and only have 1 available. I felt they redeemed themselves when I chose the sandwich + side + side salad option for $ 6.99 and got enough to fill me to the brim for both lunch and dinner. I was also super impressed with the cashier when we ordered tap water, went to sit outside, and he showed up ten minutes later realizing he’d forgotten to give it to us. Most teenage dudes would’ve just let that slide. Good on him. Thank you come again? You betcha. I’ll be a regular given I start work basically next door this week.

Ham and turkey sandwiches on croissants were just delicious. And at 5.99, what a deal. Good customer service.

Horrible. Microwaved soup, sandwiches assembled from subpar contents in little plastic tins, yuck. I don’t know what we were thinking but we tried to eat our sandwiches but ended up happily throwing nearly all of them away rather than put them in our bodies. How can a place NAMEDAFTER A DELICIOUSMEAT serve such mediocre meat? This mall is such a restaurant desert, they must be getting by on a captive audience because I’ll never return. If I worked around here I’d brown bag it or starve if this was my only choice.

Ham is delicous! However beware of them closing early. I rushed over before closing time and it looks like they close a few minutes early. It’s a big deal for me who’s flying out the next day and hoping to get some fresh ham to bring as a gift.

A terrible experience just turned me off to this store and the product. A special trip to their Deli today resulted in finding a sign on the door that said«Deli closed till 12÷27». I understand it is the busy season but close down an entire product line and service is nuts. Hire more people to meet the demand if it is that busy(like that’s a bad thing). I will no longer make the trip to buy from this business — who knows what sign will be in the door next time??? These people are not interested in their customers. Terrible customer service for a little then better average food. Stay away, not worth it.

Talk about holiday spirit! I called the store in Colma, CA to ask what hams they had left, and she said she didn’t know and wouldn’t check, but they did have hams and I’m welcome to come check. I’m sorry I live 30 mins away so I’m not driving an hour to and from and hope they have the ham I need. Stay away from this location they are so rude! Palo Alto, CA location was more than happy to let me know what sizes they had and the cost of those. Guess I’ll be taking my money elsewhere!

Picked up a holiday ham. Called a day prior and got reservation number. The line was super long but moved fairly quick. The only downside is they should have a line for pickup orders.

Poor customer service on their sandwich bar. I stopped in here a few weeks ago and the server kept trying to take my order while her back was to me and washing dishes. What? This is horrible service. I kept hesitating to give her a chance to finish the item she was rinsing, but then she just kept grabbing more items to rinse, while trying to get me to order over her shoulder. I’ll go back because their food is amazing, but I hope she never waits on me again.

The ham here is absolutely delicious. I don’t know what they glaze it with but that sweet crust just reminds me of the amazing sandwiches you can create. Once you try a Honeybaked Ham… you’ll never want to go back to those paper-thin/pre-packaged variety. I also love their turkey breast. It’s moist and once again has that delicious crust that I love so much. I used to only come here for special occasions when my grandmother would bring a whole ham home but I went recently for the sandwiches. Let me say that the lunch deals are phenomenal! For $ 5.99…you could get a sandwich and salad with a side dish. Huge portions for a great price. I love the bread that they use too. I need to come back… just talking about the lunch specials make my mouth water lol

Amazing customer service. I came in today about 30mins. before closing. And the ladies were just as welcoming and as fresh as if the place had just opened. It’s always refreshing to meet people who take real pride in their work and making sure the customer is happy. Thank you very much ladies of Honey Bake Ham.

The ham and the champagne mustard are the winners in this shop. I always stop by and have one of the delicious ham sandwiches if I am in the neighborhood. Get it with the sides @ $ 6.99. It is put on rye bread, the decorative kind, and has ample ham. You can choose 2 sides, drinks not included. The person behind the counter was enthusiastic and very helpful. Have tried their delicious marinated beef and have found it is hit and miss. Most of the time, it is delicious but once I got a lot of fat in the package. You cannot see the actual piece of meat as it is packaged in the marinade. At $ 20 per package, usually around 2 lbs, I hope for meat. I love their ham for holiday’s but I do not stand in a long line. Ham keeps well, so I get it before the rush, like 3 days before… DELICIOUS.

This review is for the DELI only! I wouldn’t step in this shop during any holiday because it’s just as bad as black Friday shopping, but you’re not getting some kind of great deal on something. =/ They have $ 4.99 sandwich deals(+$ 1 for combo to add chips and a side) that are nice and filling. They sell bottled drinks as well(you just gotta ask what they have because it’s in behind their refrigerator door so you can’t see them). My usual: Turkey and Ham Sandwich Combo with a side of Sweet Garlic Mustard and Pineapple Ginger Chutney. For the combo I usually pick the potato salad as the side. Turkey and Ham Platter Right before the holidays they usually stop the deli because they get swamped with ham/turkey orders to make them. If you’re lucky, they have pre-made ones available. I’d just call ahead to make sure. Honestly, I don’t like their turkey that much. It’s very hit and miss(sometimes dry, sometimes not) but I get the combo because turkey is healthier than ham. You can’t go into a Honeybaked Ham though and NOT have some of their ham! It’s just too good! So it’s a compromise(to me anyways so no judging!) I also always keep in stock a jar of the Sweet Garlic Mustard in the house. It’s soooo goood! If you’re unsure about the flavors of any of their condiments, they have samples available. You just gotta ask. Since I go when it’s not during the holidays, they’re usually very helpful and friendly. If you’re going here to pick up an order during a holiday, expect a long wait. I am forewarning you! I’ve heard the employees say that it can be over an hour wait just to pick up an order! Craziness!

I ordered a ham for xmas dinner. they told me to take it out 45mins-1hr before we wanted to serve it so it would be a room temp. I took it out about an hour and a half before we wanted to eat and it was still freezing cold. :( i recommend taking it out very early. The ham was good once it got to room temp, but freezing cold ham was awful. just a heads up.

1130am day before Thanksgiving I get to the HBH store and see a looong line extending to the end of BB&B. GREAT. But with time on my hands and a promised ham for my work potluck, I just grit my teeth and got in line. There was a person at the entrance directing the customers to go to one of six or seven lines(although I think there were like seven or eight registers) so lines were moving along swiftly. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience and I was back on the road by noon. If I was going to get another ham for the Thanksgiving holiday, I would probably go a few days earlier(they are supposed to last a week in the fridge). Big thumbs up to the HBH staff for doing a job well done during this holiday madness. I’m sure they had more than their fair share of baloney customers.

Whatever you do don’t buy the sampler. It’s a big rip off. They give you one tiny slice of ham, turkey and a small pork spare rib per person. It’s a total joke. You can buy more at Boston Market and more helping with what they charge with this joke of a sampler. They should make smaller portions of their hams, they probably would get more business, that is if they extended their hours. They are closed on Sundays and close early during the week(hello people usually get off work and by the time they get to your store, you’re closed)! You are not thinking about your customers what so ever! Since Quiznos closed next door(bummer), I may consider trying out their sandwiches in the future. In their pictures, the sandwiches look pretty good and pretty big, but I’ll have to try it for myself and see if it’s as good as it looks in the pictures.

One woman was helping a customer decide on buying big dinner, The other woman was helping a tall man in front of me, and another senior lady came in behind me. The man paid for his sandwich and left, I moved forward to order. Nope she turned her back went to the phone and then started walking around the whole area moving slow as a snail. The other lady continued trying to talk the lady into buying this and that. I turned to the senior and said«Where is customer service anymore» I do not need to stand here in pain, and being ignored. I looked at the meat, etc laying out, it was dried out, had not been refilled, also no samples. Easy just find another place to have lunch. I was backing out and the other lady came out too, she said,“The meat(ham or turkey) looked dried out and not good for a sandwich. I assume there is no manager or owner to see how badly customers are treated and how messy the area was with dried ham/turkey that had been laying on the platter for days and it looked overcooked. will not be going back there, sure do not recommend anyone else either.
