We order from here a couple times a month. They have the best pizza and hoagies in the area. The Italian hoagie is like nothing else around here. You’ll be able to find cheaper ones but theirs melts in your mouth. The take out is ready on time and the people are always friendly.

Ordered two salads for delivery, website says $ 8.50 per salad, and gave a $ 5.00 tip. Should have been about $ 22.00. Well I was charged $ 27.70 and when I called to inquire about the extra $ 5.00, they said the price on the website is incorrect and they are actually $ 10 each. Did not even offer to compensate for their mistake. If you own a business you MUST keep your prices consistent and your customers happy!

The food here is AMAZING! My boyfriend and I go here every weekend now to get food. We’ve tried a good majority of things on the menu and everything has been delicious, but we will usually split a hoagie and get an order of their Italiano fries. The workers are great and our food is always ready by the time we get there to pick it up.

Consistently outstanding. Without question the best pizza and sandwiches around. Can’t find anything even close.

We ordered from here on Thursday night. We’ve been to s number of places in the Hatfield area, having just moved here… the pizza was really good! I liked that while it was thin crust, it wasn’t paper thin. I like thicker dough at the crust, and this was spot on. They use the big pepperoni, which I am indifferent about. Next time though, I will ask for lighter sauce. Just a bit too much for my preference. I like to fold my slice and when I did that, sauce came out all over my lap. My fault, and it didn’t bother me much. It was still flavorful. We ordered the Cajun wings and mild wings. They containers were not labeled, and I could barely tell the difference; I’m still not entirely sure if I ate my Cajun wings or my wife’s mild wings. No matter though… they were pretty decent. We did not however, like the garlic knots. They were VERY salty, and we were not quite sure where the salt came from. My wife loves garlic knots, but we only ate 1⁄3 of them. There was a good ¼″ of liquid(oil/butter) in the bottom of the container. Just too much for me. All in all, I will definitely order from here again. I just know some things to ask for next time.

I left a tip, and below you will see my rating of the terrible customer service. But here is my food review: Chicken parm: Huge and kid loved it. I would probably order that again. Crab cake: meh. large portion but really had zero flavor. i had to add ketshup(pretty gross) to make it flavorful at all. Calamari: again meh. probably because it was cold and rubbery by the time I got it. Corn fritters: pretty ok. Better than meh. I may give this place another shot, but i wasn’t overly impressed. «We got backed up with the deliveries the driver will be there soon«is not an acceptable answer for food that was order over 1.5 hours ago and given a 50 min time frame. You should be offering to take money off my bill, adding a 2 liter, something… not being a snot.

Been coming here for years and although usually I always get the«Lil Santino» I have had their wings, Pizza, Italian Hoagie, Cheese steak, and pork and broccoli rabe. All of which are amazing, kitchen is clean service is good, food is a little pricy but in the end it’s worth it, best bread on a sandwich I have ever had.

I just love these place. Now I am a pizza snob so I will tell you that the pizza is decent… Not the best I’ve ever had but decent. Now their sandwiches… Hmm Hmmm Hmmm. Every sandwich I’ve ordered top notch. The chicken parm. OMG… The meatball parm… OMG The cheese steak… OMG… ok ok… you get my point. The bread is like some Sicilian has an oven in the back baking it on a daily basis… the sauce those parms I could just take the bread and dip it and eat it with nothing else. Fortunately for me these guys are 2 minutes from my job… hoo yah!!! Jason

The absolute BEST sandwiches in the area(I refuse to call them hoagies, I’m from NYC and they are SUBS … but I digress). Their bread is so good I swear it’s imported each day from New York, and the aged provolone is to die for. Whatever you order, if the provolone isn’t on there, ask them to add it or substitute it in … so good. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. I would give this place 5 stars but I am not a big fan of their pizza. I just find it to be average. But the sandwiches are excellent, and between my boyfriend and me, we’ve tried a bunch. Their fries are also very good, and the mozzarella sticks are excellent. I’m very picky about my mozzarella sticks, and I would go to Goomba’s just for theirs.

Never had a sandwich I didn’t like. Got my co-workers hooked! My advise is to branch out and try something new!

My uncle recommended this place to me a few months ago and I finally ended up in the area yesterday. My mind was completely blown seeing this place at 3.5 stars. I can’t speak for anything but the pizza, which is why I came here. This was the best slice of pizza I’ve ever had. Perfectly thin. Fresh sauce. Huge slices of fresh pepperoni. The dough was incredibly chewy and moist. The cheese was the perfect balance of oozy and yet full-bodied. This slice, was greasy, but not too greasy. Oh, and by the way, it was HUGE. If I am ever within a 15 minute drive of this place, I will be coming back for the pizza. You should too. At $ 3.75 you get a double-sized slice. So it’s a great deal as well. Check out Goomba’s pizza and rate it, because I’m kind of disappointed these guys are only at 3.5÷5 right now.

I’m thankful to have a mother-in-law I love and especially thankful to have a mother-in-law that lives near Goomba’s. The chicken cutlet alla rabe is the better than any chicken cutlet I’ve found in the city. The rabe isn’t bitter and is well cooked so it complements rather than invades. I ordered the crab cake sandwich recently and was amazed that it was actually a 12″ crab cake hoagie. Just an FYI for mayo haters the crab cake comes with it so be sure to tell them to hold it if you don’t like it. We have also ordered the Godfather, the Meatball Parm, and the Olé Italiano, which are classic and delicious. The aged provolone is crumbled which ensures a taste with every bite and their rolls are seeded and the perfect amount of bread to balance the fillings. They have tubs of pickles and hot peppers to take with you. Grab a tiramisu from the case and you’re all set!

I feel this place has lost it edge a little. I ordered a chicken cutlet with greens and cheese and a meatball parm. The chicken was way over cooked and rubbery. Such a shame as the rest of the sandwich(the roll, greens and cheese) were great The meatballs in the Parm sandwich were way too salty. Again the rest of the sandwich was great the roll and the sauce. I hope this place can get it back together as it is one of few places in the Northern suburbs where you can get Philly style sandwiches. Dino V North Wales

Sandwiches are good but the pizza was just plain bad. The pie was burnt. Leaving the cheese and sauce(what little there was) being a complete disappointment. Will be back for sandwiches but I doubt will order another pizza from here again.

Great food & quick delivery, but a little heavy on the salt. We ordered a bunch of food for NYE& it arrived before the 1 hour delivery window was up, which was great! I tasted the Guido Rolls & they were a little greasy but REALLY good! Cheese fries with wiz were great! Chicken cheesesteak with fried onions was delicious as well! As others have said, the rolls are amazing! My only gripe really is that the food(aside from fries) was a little saltier than I like, but other than that I loved it!

I had the buffalo chicken Stromboli and while it sounded delicious theoretically, it was not. Whoever made it was too heavy on the black pepper. It was the primary ingredient. I accidentally inhaled some of the black pepper as I was eating and now have a terrible chest cold as a defensive result. Again, if you order from there, tell them little to no black pepper. I had heard such good things but was very disappointed.

Best. Sandwiches. Ever. That is all! Just the best ever. If you are not eating here, you are wrong and need to fix yourself. Stop by on your way home and pick up a couple of Italians to go, then go next store and grab a six pack. You won’t be sorry and are sure to have a great night.

This is hands down the best sandwich shop I’ve ever been to. The porcetta alla rabe was absolutely amazing. Everything from the porcetta and the sharp provolone mixed with the delicious broccoli rabe melded into an incredible sandwich all put between an amazing Philly roll. The chicken Sinatra, and actually anything on there menu is incredible. Next time you go in just take a look at the dozens of sandwiches that are sitting behind the counter waiting to be picked up by eager customers. Secret tip: get normal friends and put the excess of the sandwich onto the fries. Absolutely Amazing. Recommended for anyone who enjoys good quality authentic food

Thanks again to Unilocal without which I would not have found this place albeit just around the corner from Hatfield Ice Rink where we spend a lot of time. The cheese steak(I had them add mushrooms) was amazing! The roll is fantastic as is the meat and cheese. All high quality ingredients! Yes I will be back when I get a cheese steak craving as this is one of the best cheese steaks in the Philly area! Keep up the quality work Goombas!

After many, many excellent steaks here, I have moved Goomba’s into my top 5 list for cheesesteaks. I always ask for extra cheese and they are perfect that way. What a gem. The steak is very high quality and the roll is amazing. Sarcone’s style roll(but even better) with seeds, THEAUTHENTICWAY. If you never had, or do not like a seeded roll then head to Wawa for a «steak and cheese» and leave this place for the real foodies Real South Philly sandwiches use seeded rolls!!! *Update 7⁄14 — Last night I had the BEST Italian hoagie OFMYLIFE from this place. *You will see some bad reviews of this place but it’s just from people who never had a real sandwich — uncultured suburbanites that have no idea what they are talking about. I have had all the popular best places in Philly and all the«secret» places too, 100s of times spanning the last 25 years. Goomba’s is amazing and definitely holds it’s own against the absolute best: Mama’s, John’s, Steve’s, Pagano’s, Joe’s, Sarcone’s and Max’s.
