Bloomfield Hills, MI
Typical diner/​café type place with a decent menu. Unique options like a Haystack and blueberry cinnamon rolls. The food is totally fine, particularly for the low prices. There’s only ever been one server when we’ve been here, which has only been for breakfast. She’s great. Definitely a place for locals. Not a speedy dining experience. But good for the price & friendly service.

Coloma Café is a low-​key, country style breakfast/​lunch place. Their Friday Night Fish Fry is excellent (and the only night of the week that they are open in the evening) and you can get the best breakfast in town here.
We took family here during a weekend at the lake. The food is excellent and the server, Chris is a hoot! She has a great sense of humor and jokes with her regular customers (and even the new ones!) and made our breakfast even nicer.
Good eggs, home style potatoes, hot coffee — just want you expect.
