Service was fast, food was as good as you would expect at McDonalds, store not very clean however. About 5 minutes after sitting down I realized that the booth of high school age kids were passing drugs among themselves and were on constant lookout for local police. All were acting very strange… pass on this place

FILTHYRESTROOMS!!! The rest of the place doesn’t look that clean either. I feel like burning my shoes after I visit the FILTHYRESTROOMS. After using the men’s room I lose my appetite and just get coffee, the hot water probably kills whatever makes it out of the FILTHYRESTROOMS.

On our way through town, on a road trip, we stopped here for a quick breakfast. Normal crowd. We ordered 2 egg mc muffins and a sausage biscuit. We weren’t told that there were no biscuits made until we had waited almost 10 minutes. While waiting we noticed a couple of Hispanic women also waiting. They were confused by the wait so I asked them if they had ordered biscuits and they said yes, so I told them they weren’t ready. Another 5 – 7 minutes pass before their order is ready. When they go get it(they ordered the big hot cake breakfast) they ask where the pancakes are(VERY politely) and the rude counter girl replies«you don’t get them, this is the Big Breakfast» very rudely. The girl smiles and says«we asked for pancakes» with broken English and the girl replies«well he probably couldn’t understand you.» And walked away. SORUDE! the store is poorly managed but that girl has no business working with people.

I absolutely loved the new pulled pork sandwiches at McDonald’s. It was the perfect way to end a very long day. The food was fresh and everything was delivered to me in a timely manner. The staff was very friendly and I could clearly see that they were looking to get me my order as quickly as possible. I felt that they actually took pride in there work and actually cared about me as an individual and not just a customer. I will always come back here when I’m looking for a good meal delivered quickly with friendly staff that cares about my meal and me as a person. Thank you Coloma McDonald’s for the experience I will definitely be back and I would absolutely recommend any of my friends to come here. Truly an enjoyable experience.

Food is expensive for fast food. Staff not very friendly and managers are not friendly especially the older women/manager with dark hair. She is a rude person even if the customer has a legitimate gripe. Like a Big Mac with only one patty, fries cold, and charging me for an extra sweet and sour after all the screw ups. Not a fan, and I live in Coloma.

We live here in Coloma and hardly EVER frequent McDonalds. Without fail every time we go through the drive thru we are missing food. Now, I only live a few blocks away so if the food is missing it is not much of a trudge to get up and go back to get what we were suppose to have in the first place but the employees make you feel like your not telling the truth. Trust me, who would lie to get this kind of food and service. So…we decide to give them one more try. They were just remodeled, maybe they remodeled their employees and food too. Boy were we wrong! Again, spent $ 25 and didn’t get all of our food. Does the madness ever stop? Does McDonalds ever really read any of these reviews. NO! I know this because if they had, all of the managers and employees would have been fired for the problems they create. Burger King just got all of our business!

What a mess! The remodel was beautifully done in the dining room but the counter is a disorganized mosh pit. There are only two registers, but no one was behind them today. I waited in line for nearly ten minutes while a mass of crew members ran around behind the counter. When I finally got to place an order I was warned there wasn’t much change in the drawer, seriously! Well it was true, I was handed a roll of pennies, when I asked the crew member to go to the drive thru to get quarters or ask a manager she looked around helplessly. I asked another on the few for a manager, got my change and exited. And all I was ordering was two drinks.

This may very well be the shittiest McDonald’s in America. You, my friends, have been warned. *cracks knuckles* I’m not what you would call a fast food connoisseur. But my dad, on the other hand, is about as close to an expert on McDonald’s as you can get. This guy has literally tried(and enjoyed) every item on the menu at hundreds of McDonald’s establishments throughout the continental U.S. On our family road trips, you bet yer ass we’re stopping at a McDonald’s for lunch or dinner at least once. My dad is the type of person that actually LOOKSFORWARD to Lent so he can mow down a couple Filet o’ Fish’s on Friday nights. So yeah, he loves his Mickey D’s. Anyway, on our trip back home to Chicago from our three-night stay in Ann Arbor, we stopped at this unassuming McDonald’s restaurant in Coloma, Michigan. The drive-thru was about ten-cars deep at 10:30am, which struck us as kinda odd. We chose to order our food inside the restaurant. On the inside, the place was less busy. There were 2 – 3 other people waiting impatiently for their orders. While the kitchen seemed very busy at the time(probably 8 – 10 employees back there), there were no employees at the front. We stood at the counter for a good 6 – 7 minutes before a cashier stepped up to the register. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is fast food. We should’ve already been greeted and had our order taken and paid for well before hitting the 5-minute mark. So finally, an employee stepped up to the register to take our order. We had no issues with his order-taking abilities. He was a good guy. Good Guy Greg. The food took exceptionally long before our numbers were finally called. I’d say a solid 15 minutes went by without any orders being fulfilled at the counter. I actually witnessed another family of four enter the restaurant, wait at the counter for 5 minutes(like we did) and then leave the place without ordering any food. I heard the mom say, «I can’t wait this long, let’s leave!» I don’t think I’ve ever seen this in all my life: customers leaving a McDonalds due to slow, or in this case, no service. Crazy. Before we left the«restaurant»(I use this term VERY loosely), a few employees walked around behind the counter, wearing street clothes(hoodies, jeans, etc.), clocked out on the main computer while customers are waiting in line for their orders to be taken… it was just odd. You never see that at a McDonalds. I’m sure Ronald McDonald himself would have a field day disciplining these yokels. We took our food to go. Didn’t look in the bags til we were at least a mile away. We basically got Leo Getz’d. «They know you’re gonna be miles away before you find out you got fucked! They know you’re not gonna turn around and go back, they don’t care. So who gets fucked? Ol’ Leo Getz!» Lethal Weapon 2. It’s a movie. Look it up. The burgers we ordered were overcooked, even by McDonalds standards. They were gray, dried out and looked like something that was fished out of a lake. My dad and brother said they tasted like cardboard and DIDN’T EVENFINISHTHEM. How bad can a McDonalds meal be that you don’t actually eat everything in the bag? I don’t know, that just seems pretty rare to me. Buns were old, definitely stale. I don’t think there were any condiments on these burgers either. Like they ran out of ketchup or something. The salad we ordered(I know, I know… what the hell are you ordering a salad for?) was probably the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. Aside from some wilted, sad-looking iceberg lettuce, the«grilled chicken» looked like something from the Chernobyl disaster, all gooey and raw, dripping with milky sweat. We took one look and tossed it. Disgusting. I wouldn’t have given it to a homeless man even if he begged me for it. The fries must’ve been cooked and re-heated about 70 times that day. Inedible. Soda from the soda machine was as flat as I’ve ever tasted. How can you mess up pop? Get it together, guys. The napkins we got with our meal were about the only plus in this entire experience. Some damn good napkins up there in Coloma, Michigan. We had enough napkins to spit our food into, so that worked out quite nicely. It’s only a matter of time before this place closes its doors and everyone drives by, looking at an abandoned, boarded-up McDonalds, saying to themselves, «Damn, how the hell can a McDonalds fail? I’ve never seen that before.» My dad, the unapologetic McDonald’s evangelist that he is, summed this place up better than I ever could have: «Zero stars. We’re going to Wendy’s next time.» THIS is how a McDonalds fails. *drops microphone*

My family and I were served by the rudest cashier who’s a brunette. We had to stop by on the way home in Troy from Chicago. This happened around 4PM on Monday March 4th. She was very short asking what size we wanted after we had already told her the size we wanted and then she still gave us a smaller size. We had ordered a pop and usually we are given the cup right away, but she I guess forgot which is no big deal so my husband very politely asked for it. She doesn’t say a word but just hands it over to us slowly and rudely. No sorry, no her you go. I don’t expect to be treated like royalty but just have some decency to treat others with some respect. I worked at McDonalds in high school and I know they don’t promote rudeness. I thought maybe she was having a bad day as we all do sometimes, so I observed a little and she was very kind to other customers, smiling at them handing over the food. So I am more upset that she had treated us that way. Maybe it’s because we’re Asian.

It’s what you’d expect at a McDonald’s. My food came fast. They have a large play-place in the back, so take your kids. They have wi-fi.

I stopped at the Coloma McDonald’s on my way back to Milwaukee from Detroit because I was craving a Big Mac. I was in for an unpleasant surprise. This was the most disorganized McDonald’s I’d ever stepped foot in. There was no lines at the register but instead a disorganized mob fighting to get up and put an order in. The woman in front of me told the cashier, «Can I get some fresh fries this time?» I should have known then to turn around and leave but I stayed anyway and ordered a Big Mac meal. My fries were visible stale. I was disappointed but I didn’t want to go back into the mob so I settled and began to take a bite out of my Big Mac. The bite was burnt, crunchy and disgusting. I had to spit the food out and tear the burger apart to find out what was inside this Big Mac. The entire middle bun was burnt and charred to a crisp. It was too disgusting to eat so I took my tray to the manager. To her credit, the manager apologized offered to get me a new meal and refund my money. I accepted. She gave me a new meal that had a good Big Mac but the fries they were serving were still visibly stale. I didn’t complain further and the manager never came back to check up on me. I ate the burger but left the fries and then took off home. I will now always second guess stopping at McDonald’s when on the road.

Easy off from the expressway and next to a Speedway station. FYI, Grandpa’s cider mill, Contessa wines & the Chocolate garden are in the opposite direction just a few minutes away so since you’ve got the kiddies settled, time for the adult to get their groove in motion. This restaurant has a play place and per the kids it’s the biggest play slide thingy at a McDonald’s they have ever been too.(They have been to many many locations.) On this the 26th of December, service was tediously slow. They were equipped with cashiers and cooks but only one cash register open! Five minutes in line and I pondered the menu fully. Ten minutes in line and I wondered if yet another McDonalds burger was necessary. Twelve minutes in line and I decided an Angus wrap and grilled wrap might quench my light appetite, also a coupon book of kids treats for a dollar is a great deal. Fourteen minutes in line, three customers unknowing the line process and I… fed up with standing in a line that is taking obnoxiously too long. Sixteen minutes and I’m back in the play area bitching about my time in line with nothing to show for it. Instead of more money and time spent wasting in line at McDonald’s I opted for cider at Grandpa’s Cider mill. Wi-FI available.
