Little hidden gem in Woodbridge. Simple and delicious subs made to order. I ordered the Super(#4) with a side of hot peppers. It definitely hit the spot. I will order again from here whenever I’m in the mood for a great sub.

My coworker and I had cold subs from this establishment for the first time and they were delicious! I opted for a ham and & cheese with several other toppings and she had a salami and pepperoni sandwich with add-ons as well. They do deliver within a certain radius of course with a minimum order of $ 20. The only reason why I gave a 4 and not a 5 star rating is because when I called to inquire about where I can find a menu online( )-you are welcome :) the person who answered the phone was very hasty. Nonetheless, I would certainly visit them again.

My go to sub/wrap place for the longest time, and they’ve been around a long time. I’ve seen some changes in the menu and store appearances decoratively speaking. Progress is a good sign. The overall quality did really improve as the prices went up a little but I think that has peaked in the past several years. Straightforward cold subs/wraps. I’ve had some surprisingly good hot non-deli meat panini sandwiches. The bread is basic white or wheat, bagged type. The dullness of the white bread kind of overpowers the flavors. That’s why I prefer the wrap. That way you can taste the ingredients better. They pack in a lot of meat and toppings every time, often barely being able to fold the wrap over. Good value I think. The toppings are as you’d expect but I also ask for the chipotle dressing and pepper spread. I think this location might be the best in their respective franchise for deli meat quality and value. Any of their specialty subs, hot subs, and paninis I’ve had are pretty good as well. A few years ago I might have given a higher rating. The competition in the area might be getting to them. Good luck guys.

Whenever I’m in Jersey and in the mood for a sub this is my go to place. Usually get 2 or 3 half subs for takeout and there are more then enough. They have plenty of choices and as many toppings as you like. Have not had any of the prepared or hot dishes so I can’t comment on but the cold cut subs and bread they use are always fresh. Not sure what the big deal about the price is? If you only want to pay 6 or 7 bucks got to Subway.

Chicken sandwiches 3x full of fat; owner is nasty and mean to customers and employees. Poor quality of food. Big turn around in employees.

Simple good tasting subs. They weigh out the meat to ensure you aren’t stiffed. Good quality meats now compared to years past. They raised their standards. I don’t think the prices are steep at all compared to other places. And the whole sub is huge! Perfect hangover food!

My favorite spot for vegetarian subs but they also have good meat options for the rest of my family. I usually get the eggplant parm. My family has been coming here for years(used to be called a different name). Their whole sandwiches are pretty big. Beats subway any day. Just don’t come here in a rush. There is always a line and they can be a bit slow.

Use to be a fan of this place… what happened? $ 13 for a whole sub with maybe a buck and a half worth of tasteless ingredients on it and some bland bread that comes out of a mass produce plastic bags. Maybe they bait and switch that brand name you see in the case and what you get on your sammich. If you closed your eyes you would have no idea what sub you are eating. Anyone giving them more than 2 stars either doesn’t know a good sub when they eat one or they are friends of the owner/staff. That’s it I’m done with this place… what a rip-off.

Service has gone done tremendously. Has the management changed? Last time I got a sub from here, it was extremely messy. The lettuce was not shredded properly, put very little onions and tomatoes. And they started putting less cheese(also very thinly sliced). If I’m expected to pay 10 $ for less than a foot long with tomatoes, onions, lettuce… I expect a proper amount of cheese. $ 10 for a sub is no joke — they need to stop being cheap and start putting in more things. I’m going to try once more and see how it goes… If not, gonna have to find another sub place.

This place used to be reasonably priced, but no more. They still make a good sandwich, but it looks like they are measuring meats now. The new owner has priced me out. If you have money to spend, it is still a good sandwich, but too expensive.

First time here. Ordered a turkey & cheese ½ sub, chips and a water. Place was clean. Bathroom was clean although it did have a very odd smell. The food selection was pretty good from salads to paninis. I like the fact they have cold salads too. There’s 5 tables in the restaurant. Price for what I ordered was around $ 9.45. Thought is was just a tad high but quality of meat was satisfactory. I probably won’t be back cause there was no wow factor. I do have to add that the place was hopping.

Every time I go to this place it has progressively declined. The sandwiches are subpar, the staff looks miserable, and the young gentleman who I believe is the Manager or owner simply treats his staff like crap(hence the reason they all look like they hate their job upon entry). Every time I go in and he is there he is openly giving someone a tongue lashing in front of customers for one reason or another. He also tends to butt in and interject while you are giving them your order and he thinks he knows what you want. I am not surprised that there is literally always a help wanted sign in the window as there is massive turnover with the exception of the spanish gentleman who generally slices the meat and builds the sandwiches. The amount of meat put on the sandwiches is a joke and the added cost for double meat and/or cheese is even crazier. I believe it is like $ 2.50 extra on a ½ and even higher on a whole. The selection of chips has decreased also. Not sure how you can run a subshop and have such minimal selection of chips. All in all this place is a waste of time and money. It is not nearly as crowded in there as it used to be which means I am not the only person unimpressed with this place. Plenty of other subshops in this area that far exceed this establishment. If anyone is reading this review and wants a quality sandwich for a great price go to the sub station in the Woodbridge Shoprite. You won’t be disappointed.

Great value. Delicious food. Hey slice the meat fresh. I had the supreme chicken cutlets with balsamic vinaigrette. It was delicious. I would def eat it again. The potato salad was also yummy.

I give the sandwiches a 5 star, but give the workers no stars… everytime I call there is this one guy who is always so rude and rushes you off the phone… he makes you feel like you are a bother to him and that your annoying… I work at a restaurant and I would never be rude to a customer in person or on the phone. I don’t know his name but I wish I did so when I call I could ask to talk to someone else. A few times I have asked for hot peppers and they never put any on. The macaroni salad I think is the best thing they have there. I also like the subway club… turkey ham and cheese… they are stingy with the cheese…

Always happy with the food. It’s a short distance away and I’ll find myself there when I don’t feel like cooking. I always have the chicken cutlet sandwich and I’ve yet to be disappointed. Keep up the good work!

Average sandwich, questionable quality of ingredients and an ambiance that reminds me of a crack house. Also, any sandwich spot that weighs their meat as they give it to you is destined for failure. I can’t stand this and I’ve only seen it done once before at Quiznos. Needless to say I’ve never returned to a Quiznos since. Find another spot.

Fantastic Subs and Quality Prices. I recommend the Italian Sub and the Macaroni Salad. I agree with the the Unilocaler below: Chris B. the person slicing the cold cuts has a personality of a wet paper towel on a Wednesday. Does it hurt to smile, sandwich cutting guy ??? They use to have«happy hour» type discounts after 3pm but that is a thing of the Past. They explained that since their switch to Boar’s Head meat products they could no longer give such discounts. This Sub shop Accepts Credit Cards but the catch is that they charge a service fee??? stingy blokes. And then they assume that an additional tip will be given. Just carry cash and you will be fine. Sometimes there is a line but the service is efficient and you get your Sub(s) without too much hassle. «Cash & Carry» Can eat there, that is if you don’t mind the constant flow of people coming in and out. There are low periods of no activity but you can not predict that. Subworks only has about 3 – 4 small square tables to eat. Not the ideal place to dine, in my humble opinion. In regards to Parking, I recommend parking across the street at Walgreens. Sometimes can be full and it’s a pain with that intersection right there.

Very good subs. Especially home made tuna fish-very, very good. All the other sandwiches are good, too. I really like this place. Sometimes you have wait a while since there is so many people inside waiting in line.

I ordered an Italian sub here and it was actually cheaper because it was dinner time than if it was lunch time, so that was a surprise. The sandwich was pretty good, and while not generous with the amount of meat they put on it, it wasn’t rationed like Subway. I would order a sandwich here again if I was in the area.
