Treasure Garden

This place is not open. They have been doing renovations for months. No updates on social media when to expect them to re-​open.

I found this place on Unilocal today and decided to try it out. My wife and I got the gen tso chicken with pork fried rice and the po po for 2.
The food was amazing. The tso chick was flavored really well and the po po came with ribs/​chicken wings/​and beef on a stick. All was really delicious! Definitely going back again!

Stopped in this place last week. The full bar made it appealing. Food was not bad. My wife went to the rest room and remarked when she came back that rest room was filthy. Same for the mens room. Got me thinking to look around and the place is just plain dirty. Any Resturant that is not concerned about the cleanliness is off my list.

What a hidden gem! Best Chinese in the Woodbridge area, generously portioned food and liquor pours, and chill bartender. Sit at the bar/​lounge area. It’s small but there are so many flat screen TV’s it’s ridiculous. Awesome place to watch multiple sports ie football, baseball.

What a wonderful surprise, we drive by this Chinese restaurant time and time again on my way to my sister-in-law’s.
One night we had to stop because it was late, cold and raining, and we were hungry.
What a great experience, the service is fantastic, the food is always fresh. If you like Sweet and Sour Chicken you are in for a real treat, never had it any where that compares.
I would say the price is average.
I guess I am glad it is not near by because I am sure I would have Chinese many more times a week.

Great FRESH food. Great service. The bartender (Dave) knows EXACTLY how to pour your drink. Your glass AND your belly is always full.

We had gotten so used to bad Chinese food that we forgot what good Chinese food tasted like. Then we found Treasure Garden! We live in Garwood & have tried a lot of Chinese take out places & quite a few sit down restaurants in the area & have always been somewhat disappointed.
We found Treasure Garden on Unilocal about a month ago. We’ve eaten in twice & taken out once & we’re definitely hooked! The fried rice actually tastes like fried rice should — to me this is the benchmark. Good fried rice shows me that the kitchen cares about the food they serve. Everything we have ordered has been fresh & delicious & consistently reminds me why I love Chinese food. BBQ spareribs are to die for! Is it authentic Chinese? I don’t know & I don’t care — it’s delicious & that’s what matters to me. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.
Also wanted to add that we went there without reservations on New Years Eve at about 6:00. The house was packed & there was a crowd of people waiting to pick up take out, but Dave accommodated us & we were seated within minutes of arrival. Pretty awesome!

We stopped here for dinner one snowy night as we had passed by a trillion times. The parking lot is always crowded and my husband keeps saying «We have to go there!» Well, we did. The bar is cozy and the crowd not what we expected but they were very welcoming. We ordered food and thought it was pretty good, portions were large and we had enough to take home. A nice local place.

The best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The owner is the coolest guy around and the service is absolutely great. I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed eating at TG!

Very Nice Chinese place. There food is very good and its a sit down place which is even better. Their staff is very friendly. If you are chinese food lover as I am and want a change from regular take out chinese place, this is the spot to come for. I have found Waffle Me for Waffles & Crêpe and This place for Chinese food, now my life is complete.

Awesome, authentic Chinese food. Their service is a plus. Dave the owner is great. Great place to bring your entire family for some great food.

This is one of the best tasting chinese food we ever ate. We have been frequenting this place for the past 15yrs and the quality of the food has been consistently great.
Lovely ambience, quiet, less wait time, fresh cooked food and also a sports bar fro men interested in ballgames. prices may be a little on the higher side, but can be justified for the quality and quantity they serve.
WOuld recommend this place to all people who love Chinese food.

Best chinese food. If you have allergies tell Dave the owner. He will make sure you can eat this wonderful food. Nothing can compare and I travel nationwide. Can’t wait to come home for the best.

It is so nice to find a Chinese Restaurant that isn’t just a typical delivery service with paper menus and light-​up menu boards and the exact same food as every other Chinese delivery place in the world.

Not only is it a sit-​down restaurant, it’s a good one. It’s usually not too busy, we’ve never had to wait. All the food is cooked fresh and to order. The menu is pretty extensive, with a good combination of typical American Chinese dishes, authentic Chinese dishes, and house specialties.
Portions are generous but not ridiculous. Veggies are never overcooked, nor are the shrimp. The service is pretty fast but not rushed. The only downside is trying to pick from so many items on the menu!
