As you can tell from the other reviews, the only people who eat here are white folks with unsophisticated palates. This place rocks if you are one of them. Feel free to load up on your«cheesy wontons» and enjoy your general’s chicken ;) All honesty, this place is perfect for take out if you live in the area.

Had Sesame Chicken Lunch Special With Pork Fried Rice & It Was Delectable. Was My First Time Trying This Place & It Has Become My Once A Week Lunch For Work.

I ordered the steamed shrimp w/broccoli for takeout last weekend and was so impressed by the size(they were nice and big), quality, and quantity of shrimp in my dish that I had to go back and Unilocal about it! The general tsos will always be my favorite, but its nice to know that their healthier steamed options are just as good.

I had to come back and give this place a rave review. I tried it again after my previous review, and I was blown away by the difference. This has become my go-to for Chinese food. I’ve had several different dishes(hot & sour soup, orange chicken, vegetable lo mein, schezwan beef) Everything is really good! I’m so happy I went back. I must’ve caught them on an off day before. I love this place!

Good place to get takeout. The food is good, but there is definitely better. Service is pretty friendly and they get your order done pretty quick. Not really the ideal place for having dinner with a group because of the small space. In addition, I’ve never seen anyone come here for anything other than takeout. If you want good takeout at a good price, definitely stop by Saga Wok!

I ordered the egg foo young lunch special. The food was good but be careful how much of the gravy you put on your food for it is very salty. Its obviously made from water, soy sauce and corn starch which is the norm for chinese restaurants. Ive done this myself at home. I seen someone reviewed the general tso’s chicken and said it was very good. I’ll give it a try next time then review it as well.

I can’t give this place a bad review… I’ve been going to Saga Wok since I was in middle school and my love for this horrible/amazing Chinese food from this place has carried on until now. I still crave Saga Wok after moving into NYC! Lunch specials were 4.95(could’ve possibly gotten pricier by now) and came with your choice of meat entrée, pork fried rice, a soup or can of soda AND an egg roll. So much awesomeness packed in one grease filled lunch. But what’s really great about this place is the quality of the food. This isn’t just some Chinese food place that you can eat and be content, saga wok’s food always leaves me satisfied, full, and in a happy place. It’s not some four star restaurant of course, but sometimes I crave my good old chicken with broccoli with egg drop soup over some pretentious French cuisine.

I always judge the chinese place by how they make their orange flavored chicken or how they make their general tso chicken with fried rice and egg roll. Well, they passed with flying colors, because the chicken was full white meat, and they are crispy and saucy just the way i like it. They arent cheap with their fried rice either, they have plenty of pork in them, and the egg roll was very crispy and flavorful. I enjoyed doing take-out here during the times I babysat for my sister in law. It was well worth the time, and i’m sure it will be worth your time if you try this place out.
