This is one of the worst gyms I’ve ever exercised at I came here to get off base and away from the military crowd. Talk about poorly maintained and over crowded, if Arnold walked in here and saw this crap he’d walk back out. The bench shakes when you lay on it good luck ever using any equipment considering the free weight section is 1 – 8 the size of the actual gym. Huge open floor for no reason. Maybe double the free weight section? I suggest going somewhere else but hey for the price it’s not a bad place to come and run on a treadmill… Wait you can run outside for free??? What I said I stand by. I will say that the manager spoke with me addressed the fact that they are a franchise and a lot of problems revolve around funding. He was respectful about what I said and offered the solution of coming in at different hours when the gym is less crowded I. e 5am or 10pm which is hard considering I’m in the military. That being said it did seem that they are going to make a conscious effort to improve some of the problems.

I’ve been a golds gym member at a few other locations out of state and have always been pleased with the staff, cleanliness and equipment. This location has definitely met my expectations. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Everything is constantly being cleaned and maintained. There are plenty of machines and and space for everyone. The equipment is fairly new and well kept. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a clean and friendly gym! I love Golds!

I chose the best time of day(mid-morning) to get my workout on. I avoided the crowd and got my workout in without being interrupted.

This is a very disappointing gym. The hours are good, the facilities are fairly clean, but it is, as a whole, the worst golds gym I’ve ever trained at. — they do not have a squat rack. How is that possible? What gym has NOSQUATRACK? — the dumbells only go up to 75 pounds. I have been on cruise ships with heavier dumbells. It is almost like a hotel gym. — they have none of the hammer strength machines that other golds have. Not the end of the world, but still very disappointing. — the equipment is CONSTANTLY«under maintenance». It is odd. They have significantly more broken equipment than any other gym I’ve been to. I have no clue why. — no soap in the showers. Not a huge deal, but most gyms I’ve been to provide a soap dispenser in the showers. This gym looks good upon first glance, but if you actually care about lifting weights/working out you are going to be disappointed. I cancelled my membership after the first week. Hopefully they do not screw me on the contract. They definitely seem like the type of gym that will do such a thing.

Clean gym, lots of Cardio equipment. Limited amount of dumbbells that DONOT exceed 75 lbs. DB benches are not sturdy. Not a lot of great free weight options, not what I expected from a gold’s gym franchise. First time I have ever seen rubber weights in a gold’s gym. This place is more of a hybrid version of Planet Fitness and a cross fit gym combined with one of those women’s health gyms like curves I am sure there are good thing about this gym. They have a Cardio theatre and some highly sought after aerobic class, for those that are in to that sort of thing. I found it hard to get into beast mode with all the silly classes and plastic weights. I definitely prefer my home gym in NC but this place is better then the gym in my hotel.
