My experience with Best Western has been great. John the manager has been very professional and has explained everything to me that was needed to be done. I have been in a customer service profession for most of my life and it was definitely good here.

I went to Best Western Transmission on accident. I had made an appointment with a shop two doors away. When I told him that I had an appointment he acted as if I did. I told him that a woman had told me that had told me it would take 2 or 3 hours he didn’t say anything. Everything seemed fine, he seemed nice. When I came back and got the bill for 180 ish dollars! Even though I was quoted for 100 dollars the night before, I confronted the issue and he said that I must have had an appointment for the place down 2 doors and that no women work at his shop. Even though I had previously mentioned talking to a woman. He brought the price down to 120. Later, I called the place that I meant to go to, Express Auto Repair, they said that this has happened before. This business is blatantly poaching customers. My mother called Best Western because she was really upset by the dishonesty and felt that we had been scammed, but he did not want to listen. He tried to make it sound like an honest mistake, but this has happened before and he has been confronted before. He knows this is going on and hasn’t done anything to fix the problem. Update: After posting this I received a phone call from Best Western. They offered me a refund of $ 20 dollars which I appreciate, but more importantly he promised to fix the work on communication and scheduling so that no more mistakes are made.
