Black Forest Bison

Drove by this place and couldn’t pass it up. If you like your Bison meat, then this is the place for you! They have all kinds of fresh, grass fed Bison meat products. We just got the jerky, but they have all kinds of fresh steaks and sausages available for grilling. We couldn’t get a steak this time, but we will next time for sure. The jerky is amazing and there are 4 different kinds. The girl at the counter was super helpful. Make sure and give this place a try!

Love the jerky and meats at this place. It is pricey, but it is worth paying a few dollars more for good quality and to support local businesses.

I’ve been to Black Forest bison a few times, and I’m a fan of their high-​quality meats and jerkys. I especially like the Gunsmoke jerky.
In all fairness, I’m not a huge fan of the price– it’s a pricey bag of dried meat.
Also, I went tonight after work to pick up some jerky on the way home (an out of town family member loved it so much when they visited, that they actually requested I bring some home for Christmas), and they weren’t open. It was 5:20. Their sign clearly says they’re open until 6:00. I’m not sure what was going on there, but I was a bit perturbed.
Anyway, if you’re tired of snapping into a greasy, tastleless Slim Jim, head on over to Black Forest Bison for some real meat, raised locally.
