Enterprise Rent-A-Car

TERRIBLE service.
We reserved a car and got a confirmation number.
Then 2 hours before we were to pick it up we were told that had no cars .We were told there was nothing they could do. Normally one location could pick up a car from another location but they were shorthanded.
We called the airport location that had a car but they wouldn’t honor the lower price we had gotten.
Finally we called customer service told our story and was hung up on twice.
Finally we got a supervisor (Monique Yea!!#)
Very helpful .we got our car at an even lower price.
Why should we have to go through all this when it was there error???
Have rented from Enterprise lots of times but now we are reevaluating this in the future.

I super love this location, 421 N Chelton is the way to go, the customer service was great. The airport location on the other hand was horrible, i was treated so badly there it was truly insulting i would recommend not going there ever.

Super friendly team who work hard to meet your needs! Even the branch manager is a wonderful team player — he enjoys washing the cars! I’ve rented twice from this location & am reluctant to go anywhere else. They always give you a clean, up to date, well-​maintained car to take with you on your adventure. Seriously, rent from these guys if you ever have a choice!

Customer service was outstanding when I came in to pick up the car. I was assisted in a timely fashion and was attended to with professionalism. Upon returning the car the same courteous customer service was given. I left something in the vehicle and called to let them know I would return to pick it up. I didn’t make it back for several hours and when I arrive they had it waiting for me. So I would say Enterprise did an excellent job and I will recommend this site to others as well as return myself if the need arises.

RENTER BEWARE! Enterprise will keep your deposit and bill you thousands for damage you didn’t do!
On April 27^th, 2015, I rented a car from Enterprise at 421 Chelton Road in Colorado Springs.
An Enterprise employee walked me to the car (the paperwork shows employee #E446MF) handed me the paperwork and said «I already marked up the damage for you, so just initial here, here, here and sign here.» He had drawn little circles indicating where I should initial. He had drawn a circle around «NO» next to «hail damage» and made a small «X» and «O» on the small car drawing used for describing damages. I rent a car every month for work (never with Enterprise!) and I always check the car out, but I naively signed and initialed as he told me to and I declined the additional insurance. I’m sure any handwriting expert would confirm that ALL of the circles were drawn by the employee, not me.
When I got in the car, it reeked of smoke! On the center console, directly under two «NO SMOKING» stickers, was a pile of cigarette ashes. I went back in to demand that I not be charged a cleaning fee upon return. I wasn’t, but that was small potatoes compared to the big, fat bill they sent me.
The car was a jalopy. In addition to the smoke smell, there was a cigarette pack wrapper on the floor and a ²⁄₃ full bottle of Fanta in the back seat — except it was yellow, not orange, so I’m pretty sure it was urine! There were dents, dings, scratches, and missing paint at several locations on the car. In spite of this, I babied that jalopy for 6 days, parking in a security patrolled parking lot at work, and in my garage at night. Absolutely no damage occurred to that car while under my care.
I returned the car to the Enterprise location at DIA on May 3^rd. The bright canopy lights they had there made it easy to see the damage on the car and the employees there pulled out the original contract and told me that some of the damage was not shown on the contract and they blamed me for it.
In June, I received a letter from Enterprise demanding $ 1,927.23 for repairs they had made to their jalopy. I submitted this to my insurance company, who took my statement and agreed that I was not at fault in any way, so I thought it would go away. It didn’t. I spoke on the phone to someone from Enterprise’s «Damage Recovery Unit» who also recorded my statement. I also received a call from an Enterprise employee at the Chelton location who listened to my story.
In September, I received a second letter, this time demanding $ 2,243.43, and then two more letters, both dated September 25^th, each demanding different amounts and imposing different deadlines.
I will never, ever rent from Enterprise again and I will make a strong point to dissuade everyone I know and work with to steer clear of the Chelton unit.
By the way, my $ 50 deposit never showed up in any of their «bills» as a credit toward the balance. Hmmmmm…

I booked a car online out of state and I was able to pick it up earlier than originally planned. Car was so clean and was nearly new! Also the rates were the best as I compared with all the other big name local rental car companies. Return was a breeze at the airport which was a totally different city (1 ½hrs) than where I picked it up from. So happy with Enterprise! It was so easy and they were great to work with and had lowest rates!

Excellent experience. I’ve never rented a car before and they made it super easy for me. They explained everything clearly and showed me the features of the rental. Quick too, I was out of there with a brand elantra in like fifteen minutes. They didn’t try to push any extras. Best of all they picked me up to get the rental and dropped me back home when I returned it so I didn’t have to worry about a ride. Great customer service, in the office as well as the drivers.

This car Enterprise car rental was the worst that I have ever been to. They had limited selection in vehicles and were unwilling to «go the extra mile» to accommodate us. We have a family of 6 and their vehicle selection was only able to seat 5 max. We had to settle for less than what we needed and all I have to say is that next time, I will go with a different company for my future car rental needs. They get 1 star, and two middle fingers from me, that’s how disappointed that I was with this rental car experience.

I had excellent customer service. The vehicle I received was clean and ready for me to pick up. Dropping off the vehicle was just as easy to pick up.

I got a rental voucher from USAA, after a minor accident with one of their clients… When I arrived, Eric was my service rep… He told me I was gonna
get a small economy car… I told him that wouldn’t work for me & that I needed
a larger, because my disability & that I was claustrophobic… Eric got on the
phone to USAA & got me an up-​grade to a Chevy Impala to drive… He showed
all around the car… And all of it’s bells & whistles… He was very courteous &
helpful…It was the same on the return of the car… The car was in beautiful
condition, before & after… In fact, when it’s time for me to take my multi-​state
trip, I will be renting a vehicle from Enterprise Rent-​A-​Car…

Horrible customer care and service. They run the cars into the ground and the branch manager is kind of patronizing.
