Let me begin by saying I always order take-out so I really can’t speak to the in-house service. I ordered the vegetables and fried tofu stir-fry and the Pad Thai and it was exceptional. Note: I began honing my pallet with a more authentic version of Pad Thai — or perhaps a version from another region but for C. Springs I thought it was really tasty. The stir-fry was prepared to perfection and nice and garlicky just the way I like it. I almost think they have a different cook because the Pad Thai was not overly sweet and the vegetables were more flavorful. I guess the next visit will tell. Also, I believe they are shooting themselves in the foot by not having take-out menus. I can find nothing online that illustrates their complete offerings. I probably would order more often if I was starving and I had one in front of me to steer me in their direction.

Not authentic Thai. Food just tasted off. Got the tom yum soup, pad Thai, panang and red curry. The red curry was watered down and filled with bamboo shoots so the flavor wAs off. Panang was alright, not the best I’ve had. Tom yum soup not the best I’ve had either, like they didn’t add enough lemongrass. The Thai tea was extremely sweet, adding water or milk dos not fix it. Waitress was nice though. Would not return. Would not recommend.

I live in LA and have had lots of amazing Thai food(including in Thai Town here). So I was surprised when the little Thai place in CO Springs had quite good food. I think they’ve adjusted their menu to try to appeal to both Thai and Japanese food audiences. So some dishes are not as purely«Thai» as they could be. The satay was a different approach — chunks rather than the thin strips I’m used to. And the sauce was more chili oil and less peanuts, but still tasty. The pad thai and red curry were quite good. They have a pretty extensive vegetarian menu(not easy to find in CoSprings). It’s not on my «don’t miss» list, but I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

My husband said it was really interesting inside but we got take out. Compared to other places here the portions were way better and there was a lot of meat in my pad thai. I wish they cooked the chicken differently but it was still yummy. And it comes with a small roll with very odd dipping sauce. Reeks of vinegar but sweet like sugar? Will definitely go here again which requires ignoring 3 other closer thai places

Every time I come back to Colo Springs I always make a stop here. Plenty of food and free refills of the Thai ice tea!

This place was recommended by a friend of mine. After reading through some reviews I decided to order the pad see ew today. Their portions are generous for the price. However, OMG… it was soooo salty. I cannot believe how much water I had to drink! I feel like if they cut down the saltiness by 75%, it might actually have some good flavor. I also ordered a thai iced tea. They give you a giant glass of thai iced tea. SWEET! and I mean that in 2 ways. A) Yay for the ginormous cup. B) sad face for the overly sweet drink. I ended up pouring some of my water in there to help reduce the sweetness with very little result. I really wanted to eat mango sticky rice for dessert, but I wasn’t in the mood to be disappointed for a 3rd time in a row. I will save the few extra bucks and get my dessert elsewhere. I can usually tolerate salty food to a certain extent. But not when I felt like I was eating spoons full of salt. If you enjoy your food super salty, by all means give this place a shot. However, IMHO your time and $$ is better spent elsewhere.

Absolutely love this place! I don’t eat Thai anywhere in the front range unless it’s at Thai Lily. Always a cozy friendly atmosphere and the service is second to none. ~Customer for life

Very good! Tastes really authentic. I would recommend the pad see ew. Also very quick service, they seated us right away and took our drink order. Lady who helped us was very friendly and helpful with food recommendations. :)

I come here weekly with some co-workers. The food here is actually pretty good. I try to mix it up and have different things each week… Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Curries, etc. I do feel there are some inconsistencies with their spiciness levels and the amount of meat they put in their stir-fry. They rate their spiciness from 1 to 5, 5 being the hottest(Thai hot). Sometimes I’ll a 3 hot and it will seem like a 1 and the next week, I’ll order a 3 and it will seem like a 5. For the amount of meat, I’ve ordered some of their chicken and pork stir-fry and one week I’ll get a nice helping of meat and the next week it might seem a bit lighter on the meat… Overall, this is a good place to eat lunch at…

It was my second time here. The first time I had pad Thai which was just average. Nothing to write about. I had the drunken noodles medium spicy the second time and it was really good! They use the long flat noodles rather than the square flat noodles but it all tastes the same to me so I didn’t mind(some of my friends for some reason don’t like the long noodles). They give you soup w your order which not all places do and they give you large portions too! I’ve had experience w poor service w several Asian restaurants but this one has a very friendly staff! Definitely will go again to heck out their curry!

This restaurant was horrible. The food was simple and it didn’t have any flavor at all. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Don’t waste your money.

The«Please Wait to be Seated» sign is definitely true. It took several minutes for a server to seat us. One could have thought the place was vacant except for a couple at one table. Poor service. Decent menu, but beware on the spice level. My normal medium seemed more than hot. As a result of not being able to enjoy and taste my panang curry, my disappointment level rose as well. White rice only, no brown. Bummer. Won’t be back. No apologies needed.

Maybe they changed waitress but ours Was awesome. She was there when we needed and attentive to everything. Good was great, outside was a little shady but atmosphere inside was good! Will be back.

The food there was pretty good. I liked the fact that the pad Thai didn’t have such a strong smell like so many other places I have been. I also like that the Thai tea was unlimited. However the waitress seemed a little grumpy towards us. If they improved the costumer service some more this place would be a lot better.

I don’t know that I have had bad Thai food… ever. I have been going to Thai Lily for a while now, and love it, and I am happy that one can still get HOT(apparently Thai hot, not just American hot) food here. The last time I ordered, I went with 4(out of 5) star hot, and it was spicy; not too spicy, mind you, but just on that threshold.(I’d like to thank my waitress for suggesting 4 instead of 5.) The food is solid; it’s difficult to scale, since, as I opened, I don’t think I have had Thai food that I did not like. The service great and the staff is friendly and helpful, but what I love most about Thai Lily is their late-night(Friday and Saturday) hours. The late menu is limited, but still has the staples, pretty much what most people will order anyway including(to my mild surprise) phở and the quality is not diminished.

Eeeek avoid! It should be a crime to call skewered deep fried chicken pieces yakitori.

The Pad Thai is awesome! They have all sorts of meat in it, shrimp, chicken, beef, and tons of veggies. I go with the 4 star(out of 5 spicy), I think its the best Pad Thai in Colorado because its not slopped together you can actually taste all the different flavors. Their Yakitory dinners are a real good value(4 skewers per meal) with 2 scoops of rice and a large portion of coleslaw. Service is good, very friendly. They also serve larger portions than other Thai restaurants I visit.

I’m such a fan of this plan. I’m here whenever I can manage to swing by but it’s not that often. I’ve never heard of a place that offers unlimited refills on thai iced tea and it definitely helps when you order a dish 5 star lily hot. I agree with other reviewers when they point out that the service is kind of lacking. This place is always busy and there’s only one waitress running around doing takeout orders, answering the phones and running food out to you. They need to get more help. I order the Tom Yum Ka soup, shrimp pad thai, and pork with bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and bell peppers in a constant rotation. The Tom Yum soup is always presented beautifully, the shrimp pad thai had 9 shrimps last time I checked my takeout order, and the pork dish was enough to last me for two days. I love how they take care of me when I get a takeout order. There’s plenty of napkins, enough rice for 2, and enough utensils to fill my drawer just like college. I make the 10 mile drive to this place ’cause I do enjoy the food, the free Wi-Fi and the crazy fixtures on the walls. And I prefer it over a few other Thai places in town just ’cause it feel the most authentic.

Took the drive over to the other side of town to check this place out, based primarily upon some decent reviews here on Unilocal. For the most part, I was disappointed. Have the people who reviewed this place even patronized places in town such as NaRai, Thai Mint or Ahran? First off, the place is a dive. Questionable hygiene, as place feels dirty and musty. Tacky and sticky plastic covers the dining tables. OK, I may be able to overlook some of this if the food was good. The food was fair at best. Should have known this place is not all that authentic, since it is part of the infamous Yakitori chain here in Colorado Springs. This means it is more of a hybrid or fusion place than true Thai. I went safe and ordered Pad Thai, that contained very little meat, and two scrawny pieces of shrimp. Ordered between medium and hot, and plate arrived very bland, with very little spice or heat. Dish had little flavor overall, and there were no additional spices on the table, as you usually find at most Thai restaurants. The worst part of this whole experience was the service. As others have mentioned, the service here is pretty lousy. Gal who waited on me had a scowl on her face the entire time, and never really spoke more than a few words. I noted she treated the other few patrons in the dining room the same way. She took my plate away when I was finished, and then never returned with the bill. About 20 minutes of waiting, had to yell into the kitchen for her to come out so I could pay and leave. I was really expecting more from this place. Luckily, there are several really good and more authentic Thai places in town.
