I have been coming to Jersey Mike’s for years now and have always loved their sandwiches as well as their service. My wife and I normally order the same thing everytime we go, the original Italian. For $ 8.99 per sandwich I have always been impressed up until today. I ordered my usual, the original Italian with the same toppings that I always get. Lettuce, onion, peppers, and olive oil. When I picked up my sandwich today and brought it home to eat and I noticed that the sandwich wrapper was drenched in oil as well as the twisted paper bag before I actually even opened the sandwich. I just thought maybe some oil had dripped off or whatever have you, until I opened it and saw what my sandwiched looked like. I opened the wrapper to find my sandwich sitting in a puddle of olive oil. I thought it was a bit much but I still tried to eat my sandwich being I was starving, it was late, and I didn’t feel like driving all the way back to the store to get my money back. I was repulsed when I bit into it and oil was dripping from every direction, down my hands and everything. The bread was no longer bread either, it was completely soggy and had soaked up most of the oil. I understand I asked for oil, like I always do, but this was uncalled for and quite disgusting. I don’t know how someone making my sandwich actually expected someone to eat that. Also, the lettuce was no longer crisp because of the oil, it had become green mush. I took photos of the sandwich and I will gladly post them. Being a born and raised jersey girl, I ALWAYS enjoyed jersey Mike’s because it was a little something to remind me of home. I’m sorry to say I will NO longer be eating here. Also, the guy who was our cashier was literally was wearing tin foil around his head and looks ridiculously unprofessional. This post doesn’t even deserve one star!

I have gone here 3x in about the last 4 weeks. I have only ordered in-store for takeout. I have not gone during a rush time. SO my review is based on these experiences. EXCELLENTSOFAR! For me-the Italian-its as close to a hoagie as I’m going to get fresh. The cheese steaks are also authentic tasting. I love the sweet peppers. I had no trouble getting my sandwiches made the way I want them. You have to say whoa on the oil and vinegar-they want to dump waaay too much. But service was spot on for me.

I recently moved to Colorado from Phoenix and loved the location near my home and went there on a regular basis. This location is completely different. All in all the food is just as good here if it’s made well and not haphazardly thrown together in a fit of teen angst which I’m sorry to say is usually the case. The employees are also nowhere near as nice as other locations I’ve visited. They will ask you«hey how’s your day going?» Then when you reply«Good, how are you doing?» they say nothing. As if corporate tells them to greet the customer so they do just so they can say they have followed the rules. At one point the man checking me out asked«Do you have any plans for tonight?» I replied telling him my plans to visit a friend out of town and he didn’t reply just a long pause then a «want a receipt?». They also don’t tell you the status of your points towards a free sandwich. I realized it had been a long time since I had a free sandwich so I asked«How many points do I have?» The cashier replied«oh…you have 150… do you want your sandwich for free?». At other locations they always told me how many points I had on my card at each visit. Even going so far as to say«you have so many points so next time your sandwich will be free». TL;DR — This is more of a typical subway experience than a jersey mikes experience. Food is good most of the time but employees seem like they hate their jobs.

The two staff member that worked halloween night were awesome! Half the staff called in and they had to handle it all by their selfs. They rocked it! Love their subs and staff. Only complaint would be the loud music. But other than that no complaint.

I went here a while back. Subs are ok. The ding area was dirty and there were a lot of staff not doing anything. Hope they clean up the place a bit.

Favorite sub place in Colorado Springs! Sign up for emails, they send great deals! The staff at this location are great, especially the manager. Being a regular customer, they already know what I want and get it ready before I even tell them.

Omg I’m eating the chipotle cheese steak! It’s is off the chain, hot, juicy & just good. Second time coming I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Soft bread gets soggy fast, with the«mikes way» oil and vinegar. It was okay, we had 3 different sandwiches, 2 hot and 1 cold. We could have made any of these at home. Nothing special. Too much mayo. There are other sandwiches shops out there that do a better sandwich.

This was my first and last time getting food here. The employee slicing the meat was friendly and seemed to have a sense of urgency that it was the lunch rush, but all the other employees were taking their sweet time not caring how backed up the line was getting. When I finally got my food I was very disappointed. The bread was dried out and tasteless, I wonder how many days it’s been sitting around. Also, they didn’t have a very good variety of options to put on my sandwich. For the price they charge this should be a much better sandwich. I’ll be surprised if they stay in business long at this rate.

Ridiculous! Ordered two subs at 5:30 through the app. Went in and got drinks at about 5:40. Just now leaving with my food at 6:13!!! Was supposed to be ready by 5:46. That was almost 30 mins ago. And I still have an hour to drive home and deliver to my family. Not cool, Jersey Mike’s. Not cool. This is only my third visit here. Not sure that there will be a fourth.

The new has worn off. This place was great, but they now are being skimpy on the ingredients. The flavor was sub par. If this is what its coming to, than I will go elsewhere.

Definitely was not a fan. The pastrami sandwich was very disappointing, and for the price it wasn’t worth it.

Forget visiting right at noon. The line is easily out the door and for good reason. The guys who work here aren’t called Sandwich Artists but they do slice meat fresh for every cold sandwich and lay it on the bread in pretty ribbony mounds. While the cold sandwiches are fine, it’s really all about the cheesesteak here, especially the Big Kahuna Cheesesteak. but only if you’re not watching your waistline. Beef and cheese are ample and set off with onions, mushrooms and peppers all grilled out front. They throw some pickled jalapeños into the mix as well, which adds that little extra oomph to what’s already a pretty great sandwich. The whole shebang is rolled tightly into a piece of foil where it stays super hot till you get to your secret hiding place where you can devour the sandwich without judgment for the juice and melty cheese dripping down your chin.

I was directed here by a friend. The claim was East Coast style subs. Having lived back East, I wanted to try it. Place has the right décor. I really like that they fresh slice the meat and cheese. The Mike Style(with onion, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil, spices) is very tasty. The portion of meat was lacking and no where near what they give you Back East. I ordered the #7 turkey and provolone– very tasty. My friend ordered #9 club supreme. He really liked the spices and expressed the same thing, needs more meat. The place was a train wreck and we showed up before the lunch rush. We ate in store and not a single staff member was cleaning after the rush died down. Lack of clean tables cost them a star. Definitely worth visiting. With the amount of oil and vinegar they put on the sub, eat it there.

Had the #3 all American, SOGOOD. I loved it. Even in the middle of lunch we had really fast service. They slice the meat right when you order and it’s made in front of you, Kind of like subway style. It was clean, noise level was average, and the staff was friendly. My only complaint was that it did seem like they were trying to push everyone along as fast as they could so they talked almost too fast to understand what they were saying.

Our first time here, and the food was amazing!!! All fresh made and fresh sliced meats, but dont go in there thinking youre going to get a $ 5 footlong. I had like a 6 – 7 in sub and it was $ 7! That did not include chips and a drink. One person could easily spend $ 10+. Owner was such a sweet man! Invited us right in and its a plus that they have military discount!!!

I admit I’m probably a bit nostalgic about eating here. I used to eat at one of the original few of these in Jersey, years ago. I usually get the Original Italian, which is great, especially«Mike’s Way». Reminds me of home. I’ve only been here twice, but the food is good and fresh, and the workers are friendly!

I stay away from the east side like the plague but work required me to be over there yesterday. I’d heard about Jersey Mike’s from a couple of people, and I was finally on the east side of town so I went. When I arrived, about 11am the place was empty. The service was super quick. I ordered«The Original Italian». It was loaded with freshly sliced ham, prosciuttini and cappacuolo. The bread was excellent and I loved the pepper spread. So why only 3 stars? 1. The price for a «regular» 7-inch sub is $ 7.50! That’s nuts. 2. The lettuce was brown. 3. The dude making my sandwich practically drowned it with vinegar and oil. Good sub? Yes. Best Italian sub? No way. That honor goes to South Jersey Subs up north!

Jersey Mike’s Subs: Yes this is a major chain that is all over the US but, that doesn’t take away from the quality of the ingredients and a pretty good sub. I usually get the Italian sub done Mike’s Way with banana peppers, the list of subs is pretty wide and how you top it with ingredients is always up to you. I like North East style subs and this place/chain keeps try to their NY/NY roots and doesn’t mess with any of the other ingredients that the other«Sub Shops» are trying to always reinvent. It’s a quick bite to eat and you don’t feel like you just busted your diet after getting«fast food».
