Just For Us Kids

i consigned and found the owners to be dishonest — kept my items for 4 and 5 months and sold the high value things for relatively high prices — however i had to ask for my checks several times — and when they came after months they were very low — the owner could not provide me with sales records or prices — I have consigned at many stores and always with excellent, clean and close to new items and NEVER had an issue. I would not do business again — highly suspicious business practice — unclean — their store smells (so all unsold items came home smelling awful …) and there seem to be no book– keeping or any kind of organization …

Arrived at 2:45pm and the sign on the door said they were at lunch and would be back at 2:55. Came back 30 minutes later and they were at lunch again until 4:00. My husband could clearly see the lady inside and all the open signs were on, but she couldn’t be bothered to spare two seconds to acknowledge us. She clearly has no interest in doing business.

We are usually helped by a short blonde woman (very nice) but today a much older woman was called via phone to assist us. Our experience today in store is one that has ensured we won’t be back. We were offended/​insulted. I attempted to explain several times what we needed help with and all this woman wanted to do was fight about returns/​return policy and receipt and we weren’t trying to return anything! She even went so far as to say she sold us items to boost her position (a position she was errantly taking) and we have never seen her before. Bottom line, she was rude, not listening and shady. We work hard for our money and we frequented this business in an attempt to support what we thought was a delightful small business owner trying to do the same… Now that we know that is not the case, we will shop elsewhere. I could pay less and get better service/​items and so can the next person. I would give less than one star if I could.

Small and very overpriced. I think that if they are going to charge such high prices for used goods then they should at least take the time to clean them up a bit first!

I was so excited to visit this place. Sadly, I was disappointed. Smaller than I had expected, and a much smaller inventory than I had expected also. What they did have was overpriced in my opinion. A pair of used flip flops for $ 5. Yikes! I know it’s consignment but I can’t bring myself to pay that when I can get something brand new for a few dollars more. All my high hopes were crushed, big bummer!
