I had a really unfortunate experience with Peak Appliance Repair. I hired Peak Appliance Repair to repair our dryer. Shawn arrived and was really in a hurry to complete the job. He dropped a clip that fastens the front panel to the rest of the dryer frame and instead of taking a moment to look for it, he just used a screw (I thought he put the screw in the drum, but it was in the dryer frame). The front panel holds the drum in place, and while the drum turned while empty, as soon as we put the first light load in, the screw flew out and the drum spun out of place, stretching the just installed belt. I hired Peak Appliance because my husband was just diagnosed with a hernia and the drum is heavy. The owner, Brian Morse, was derogatory and insulting and wanted us to wait 4-5 days after I notified him of the failure of Shawn's repair on the day of service and asked him to send someone out to do a 15 minute fix, correctly this time. I really cannot believe how incredibly insulting Mr. Morse was, accusing me of not caring about people who need to refrigerate medications, trying to shame me for asking him to fix his incompetent technician's mistake, and then telling me I am a terrible person and he hopes I get help. Mr. Morse refuses to return my $199.95 for the failed repair. I have the email thread, and it is just appalling. My poor husband ended up fixing the dryer. I do not post negative reviews, only positive ones, but I thought this story needed telling. Please be careful with this company.
