I have been going to Kemper Galleries since they were located in the island area between South and North bound Academy back in the ‘70s. We would go in on weekend afternoons and admire the art. I learned that if you liked something you better buy it after a Borg that I admired every time I went in for months was no longer there. They brought in a fresh Borg, which I liked even more and let me tell you I bought it with my first bonus check. They still have wonderful art, but we are usually in there to get something framed for ourselves or for a gift. They do wonderful framing. We have on occasion had to get something framed while we were in California and not only is CA framing more expensive, it is not near as nice as Kemper. My daughter had some framing that she did not want to invest a whole lot of money in so she went to Micheal’s because it was half-off. When they told her how much it was going to be she told them that she would take it to Kemper and get Kemper quality for that price. Upshot was that it did not cost any more to get Kemper’s first class work than the«bargain» at the big box hobby shop. My walls are more than full with items framed by Kemper and every single frame is perfect.
