My husband and I purchased a used mattress at the Mattress Firm and they were so kind to provide a 90 day warranty. Within the 90 days, we decided that we needed a firmer mattress which they gladly accepted the return and we purchased a new one. Within 30 days it appeared to have some sort of defect and because the mattress had a 10 year warranty it was replaced. We liked the firmness of the mattress however the new one seemed to have the same defect and therefore we returned the mattress with a full refund less the pick-up charge which is standard. In this day and age it is all about customer service and I feel they went above and beyond to meet our needs. One thing that I suggest to the Mattress Firm is to evaluate their delivery/pick-up contract. I was scheduled for a pick-up 2÷7÷12 between 12:00 — 3:00. At 2:50 the driver called and said he would be 45 minutes late as he was in Pueblo. I let him know that he can’t expect to call at the last minute as I had another appointment at 3:45. He then says he will be here by 3:30 p.m. I called the Mattress Firm and let them know what had transpired. I also let them know that my appointment requires a 24 hour notice or I pay for the service. He said he would note the information and that is there a neighbor or anyone that can help me out? Unfortunately, there was not today. He said then I might have to reschedule. The driver then calls me back and says he has gone 80 miles and hour and is still 10 miles away which means he won’t be here till at least 3:45 and I have missed my appointment and get to pay for it. The driver arrived at 3:45. I missed my appointment which they graciously did not charge me this time and I let the Mattress Firm know what transpired.
