First the The appearance of some hairdressers in there are sickening with having gaged noses ears I know that this is not a high end spa or anything but still they should have some kind of dress code.

I took my daughter in to get her hair cut she had a picture of what she wanted to Kai, she said okay my daughter wanted her hair shaped like V at the ends since she had very long hair Kai just started cutting my daughters hair when she was done with my daughters hair it looked like her hair got cut with a knife and not done by a professional.
When I called to complain about how HORRIBLE my daughters hair looked the first manager I talked to was rude and told me that they can’t glue and she did not know what to tell me but it will grow back I was so in shocked that a manager said that to me I can’t remember her name.
Yvonne, the store manager got on the phone and said I’m not the only one that has complained about Kai this week if we (hint hint Kai) if we wanted to come back in she would fix it.
So today we went back in and Yvonne, tried to fix my daughters hair the best she could.
But Kai, really chopped my daughters hair up its so uneven.
Kai, should be fired and her license revoked.
Yvonne, was the only one that was nice and understand.

These guys did awesome! Jazmin made my hair look so much better then when I came in! She listened to what I wanted, which means a lot since a lot of places do whatever they want. It was nice that she told me what she would do before she did it. Would definitely visit again!

Located on the bottom floor near the food court. There are many salon choices here at this mall, but I have done my research and observations, and Mastercuts is the best.
I like the layout, clean salon, and attentive staff.
I recommend Jazzmine for womens hair. Extremely professional and friendly. A+ haircut and very efficient. I have tons of waist long hair, and she effortlessly worked with my super long locks without any pulling or whiplash action to my neck. Also, I said keep the length, and she did exactly that while adding long layers and perfect sideswept bangs. She also asked*** if she could trim my ends before she did it, and when she trimmed them, she actually did just that. Majority of stylists for some reason always want to take the machete to their clients long hair and not listen to us when we say «WE WANT IT LONG!!!» Bottom line: Great haircut and my hair looks amazing!!! Jazzmine is excellent! Very impressed.
$ 16.95 haircut — WOW. Amazing! I will be back specifically for Jazzmine. She’s off Monday and Tuesday. I highly recommend her.

I don’t know why I don’t come to Mastercuts more often because I’ve had the best haircuts ever after my last three visits! This is for the Chapel Hills Mall location.
I’m usually very low-​maintenance when it comes to my hair. I don’t even know where my blow dryer is, the cabinet under the sink contains a bunch of unused product, and I typically frequent Cost Cutters and Great Clips. I have splurged only twice in my life with stylists charging $ 40+. Whether cheap or expensive, the results never seemed to suit me quite right. I’ve learned that it just depends, especially since so many don’t know how to deal with my Asian hair. So for a chain at lower-​level pricing, the ladies of Mastercuts know how to work it best!
Last night was my second time with Kai. Because I had a birthday coupon, I decided to get a little extra treat and had her wash my hair. Water was warm, but she didn’t quite give me the full scalp massage — her hands maybe weren’t strong enough? But whatever, I was more concerned about the cut. I gave her two pictures of what I was looking for, she said those were very reasonable, pretty, and she could it happen.
Well, she did! She styled it with at least two products, blow-​dryer, and hair straightener. This morning, after showering and without any product, I still love my hair! Best part of all, I only paid $ 18.95 (exc tip). And she’s super nice; her accent makes it a little hard to understand sometimes, but she communicates often so you know she’s trying to make you look good.
Mastercuts is located on the lower level next to the old Ruby Tuesdays. Very close to the restrooms. The unit has a weird layout, but there are a few seats for waiting customers — just like any other chain hair place.
If not for my excellent cut and personal service, I’d have given it 3 stars. Here’s why: 1) Website doesn’t list hours. 2) I had called ahead that same day to put my name down but I didn’t have a specific stylist in mind, so upon arrival, Kai was busy coloring some other chick’s hair. Another employee claimed she had an appointment in 15 minutes and made Kai take me. Kai apologized to both me and the other client, but neither of us minded since the other client was biding her time inside her foils. However, I was NOT impressed with that other employee — throughout my entire appointment, she just sat around listlessly, stared at us, and obviously had no clients. When she did get up, she just shuffled boredly around the store. Unprofessional. She could’ve expedited and helped out Kai by cutting my hair. But you know what, I’m glad she refused.
