Michael’s is a crafting-​supply heaven, but because they have a ton of other neat stuff I always spend a lot more than what I intended. #firstworldproblems
This location is just like every other I’ve shopped at: well-​stocked, organized and very helpful staff. I was looking for a frame to fit a print with unusual dimensions, found it here– as well as a monogrammed stationary set, crafting wire, silk cherry blossom sprigs and a box disguised as a French provincial book. And truffles. Lots of truffles. I wasn’t aware I needed those things, but as always I cannot help myself when I come into this store.
High marks also for an expanded clearance section, and great Valentine’s & St. Patrick’s Day items, too.

Although we didn’t find what we were looking for, the employees were very attentive and kind. We were approached by multiple people asking if we needed help, which we did, and we really appreciated that.

Ugh. I just hate going places with crappy service and employees who could care less about your experience. This Michaels location couldn’t embody that any more than they did tonight. Went in to get some basic craft supplies but couldn’t find something. And the employee who we asked to help us find it didn’t even stop to tell us where it was, she just breezed saying «back there». Seriously? She was the same employee who checked us out, with the same lack of customer service as demonstrate before. Her name was Theresa by the way. I’ll just go to the one on Powers if I ever need to because I won’t go somewhere with bad customer service when there’s people willingly giving excellent customer service elsewhere.

I normally have an okay experience but this last time I was in, the cashier was on her personal cell and didn’t hang up to ring me up. I felt this was very rude.

they never seem to have what I am looking for. And finding someone to help you is just as hard as finding what you are looking for. However the lady that did help us yesterday we friendly and showed us in the wrong direction, just didn’t have exactly what we needed.
