Jordan is ridiculous. In a good way obviously… DON’T LISTEN TO ANY OTHER REVIEWS She made mine and my friend’s visit just perfect. She dealt with our attitude and didn’t come to and leave our table without making us laugh. She took our order and delivered to a ‘T’ AND was friendly, courteous and made our visit top notch!

My son and I were looking forward to our visit, we had heard great things. It was sadly a disappointment. The best part was indeed the salad. The porterhouse i ordered was chewy and not up to par. Flavor was nonexistent and it was nearly cold when it came to the table. They forgot the sauteed mushrooms (noticed on my ticket, which they removed). The asparagus was not cooked. The sampler appetizer platter was ok nothing special. Service was not the best, our waitress refilled my sweet tea with unsweet and i had to eventually flag her down via the manager to get my ticket. The manager did seem to be making an effort to greet guests and check in. Will return if I want a good salad but not for anything else.

I can honestly say this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
my boyfriend and I decided to go here on Valentine’s Day because we hear a lot about it. well, we get to the restaurant and the person hosting tells us it is going to be a 25 – 30 minutes wait. no big deal, we don’t mind waiting. well, our 25 – 30 minutes turns to almost an hour. oops. we address the host about it and turns out we were being skipped over on the list for some reason. that kind of annoyed us but, you know, they were busy (we also work in the service industry so we get it). we finally get a seat and we meet our waitress who seems really friendly and makes a little joke about being tired and busy. we laugh, she gets our drinks and comes back to take our salad orders (which she made seem complimentary with the food). well, she comes out with our salads and in the time it took us to finish our salad, she SAT AT OUR TABLE about 3 times to complain about how exhausted she was. it started to get pretty awkward. enough to where it was becoming the entire conversation about how we felt really uncomfortable with her sitting there while we talked and ate. well she came back and surprisingly didn’t sit down to take our orders. she puts them in and we get our food. well the presentation was pretty shitty honestly. the sandwich comes with lettuce and tomatoes and I didn’t have lettuce so I asked for a side and she rudely tells me if I want it, it’s coming from the salad bar (well okay?). we both get what I think was called «The Beast Sandwich» and it had cream cheese on it. little did we know we’d be getting about a slab of cream cheese on our sandwich. I took more than half of the cream cheese off (as did he) because there was just SO much. we are about a quarter of the way into our meal and here comes our waitress to sit down. she sits and we are quiet and she sits there long enough that my boyfriend had to ask her to leave us alone lol. she awkwardly leaves and a few minutes after that, my boyfriend takes another bite and pulls a piece of PLASTIC out of his mouth.
we just kind of looked at each other and looked back at our night and talked about if we should talk to a manager. I myself said yes, because I know where I work, that would completely unacceptable.
we give her the plastic and ask to speak with a manager and she walks away mid conversation. she comes back with a slightly discounted ticket and no manager and explains that she didn’t charge us for the salads (which we thought were complimentary) and not to tell her manager because she will get in trouble (which was extremely questionable), so we assumed she didn’t even tell her manager.
well I go to the (very smelly and dirty) restroom and my boyfriend tells me the manager (named Joe) came by and said the discount was all he could do and that it was «just a piece of plastic» and walks away before my boyfriend is finished speaking with him.
so, we had quite a visit here and just felt obligated to inform people on the service they may be getting.
and again, we also work in the service industry so we understand how important customer service really is so hopefully they can work on that. best of luck to the business. I know if it were my business I’d be furious.

We had a gift certificate for a competitor steakhouse, but when we went there they had a two hour wait. So we decided to go to Texas T-​bone where we have eaten before and had good service. Well we were not disappointed again as we told the manager that we had a two hour wait with a gift certificate for the other restaurant. To our delight he asked how much the gift certificate was and after we told him he said he would accept it! So, my wife ordered prime rib which was excellent and I ordered the whiz bang shrimp and chicken breast which was also excellent! Our waiter was really good and we will definitely come back again!

The food is very good but the service was not very good I am 14 right now and they treated me like a 4 year but I would still come here if you are in Colorado Springs

I’ve never had a bad experience here. The staff is always so nice and has there stuff together. The food is always amazing. My husband and daughter love it here too.

We went to the restaurant specifically to use a Groupon for $ 15 off the ticket. It was pointed out that the coupon was for the north Academy store not the south. To build goodwill, the manager said that they would take $ 15 off the check even though the coupon wasn’t for their store. Now we can go to the north store work the coupon and still save $ 15. Great food and excellent customer service!

Where to start… Bread never came out until we asked for it. Asked for a medium steak it came out still moving. They remade the steak… wait no they didn’t. The steak came back out but there are no words to describe how bad it was. I have never had a worse dinning experience in my life. I refused to pay for the meal. On a good note the Taco Bell down the street was awesome.

The build your own salad was huge and good, the rest, not so much… steaks were less than mediocre, sides are microwaved cafeteria quality, ribs were tough and coated in a horrible thick liquid smoke filled sauce and the honey cinnamon butter tasted like icing. At $ 20 minimum per entrée I expected so much better

I never thought I would consistently go to a steakhouse and order salad! But their salads are PHENOMINAL. The selection is good, and they definitely don’t skimp on toppings. Their firecracker shrimp? Fantastic!

Thank you for making my work week just that much more enjoyable, the 28 oz porter house was something to be desired if you can find the room to finish it after the very generous make your own salad, but the service was by far above and beyond par, exceptional would be shy of the service and quality of food provided here at this in my opinion «world class restaurant!» ask for Jacqui

I have been their a couple of times, and usually they do better, but not the best.
This time, I ordered the prime rib, and got extra portion. It was cut like into 2 pieces, and it was over cooked. I didn’t finish the meal.
I only go, because a friend like the place. Me I would rather go to Texas Roadhouse house or Outback. Those places do a better job of making prime rib than this place.
Their other steaks are better.

Salads were great, Rolls were warm, so far, so good. Ordered two steaks, neither was very good. One was 40% inedible, second was 60% inedible. Lots of fat and gristle. The manager discovered were were from out of town and gave us a $ 15 off coupon and said «come back tomorrow and if you don’t get the best steak ever, I’ll pay for it!» he says.
Meh, I was born at night, but it wasn’t LAST NIGHT! Avoid this place at all costs.

The food was terrible. Ordered two steaks, neither was editable. They were full of fat and grissle. The manager replaced them both but these were equally as bad. The make your own salad was excellent.

Lumpy mashed potatoes, cold, hard rolls, and a completely worthless server made the whole meal a joke. And it is more expensive than Texas Roadhouse.
Do yourself favor and wait in line at Texas Roadhouse like I should have. This place is garbage.

Being this is a steakhouse, this place has an amazing grilled salmon dish. My boyfriend and his family all got steak and I decided to get something healthier. I ordered my salmon straight up without any herbs or dipped in anything and some steamed broccoli. My broccoli was GIGANTIC! They filled me up before I could get to my fish. My salmon was also huge and I only managed to eat half of the fish. My fish was very juicy and moist. I’ve never had a fish that was so full of flavor before! My side salad was so big that I couldn’t even finish it and I ended up bringing it home. My plate was good, but it wasn’t worth the $ 18. $ 13 would be more reasonable. Portions were too big and I barely ate any of my salmon due to the size of the side salad and broccoli. Side salads are supposed to be small like an appetizer.
I’m knocking two stars off due to the cleanliness of the restaurant. I didn’t realize it when I walked in, but when I walked out at the end of the meal, there was a LOT of stuff on the floor! I looked closely and there were onion rings all over the floor of the restaurant. It wasn’t just under a table or in certain parts of the restaurant but the entire place! There was nobody cleaning it up and everybody acted as if it wasn’t even there. Kinda funny but gross at the same time. Floors felt sticky too especially around the entrance.

So let me just clarify that this not Morton’s or an expensive steakhouse. It’s a place chow some affordable steak ground round style.
Well, I guess for the price this is as good as it gets. The build your salad could have been enough for a decent sized dinner. That’s the salad that comes with your entrée. Everything was fresh as it should be. Next, the meat, was a nice cut of beef, with neither gristle, nor fat. It was well seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium rare. I was boring and ordered steamed veggies, I performed some voodoo and doctored it with butter and Tabasco.
Overall this was a good steak.

When I look back on my decision to dine at Texas T Bone, I’d like to consider it a momentary lapse of reason.
We were given a table right away and our complimentary rolls were served promptly. Drink orders were taken and drinks served quickly. The service left nothing to be desired.
I ordered a barbequed chicken breast which is accompanied by a salad and another side. The salad is huge and is a meal unto itself. However, I would have preferred a smaller salad with quality ingredients and quality dressing. I selected balsamic vinaigrette which had the appearance of a mud puddle and tasted horrific. I powered through the best I could and probably ate more than half of the salad.
The chicken was fine and the sauce was fine as well. The side I ordered, sautéed shrooms and onions, was ok as well but it was swimming in some kind of buttery oil stuff.
Soft drinks are almost $ 3.00 each. I believe the restaurant offers unlimited refills but holy crap is that expensive.
I was full from my meal but completely disappointed in the quality and the price I had to pay for two sad meals.
