Went and ate here with my brother Inlaw the service was awesome! the lady at the front told me about there menu items she was very polite, food tasted grate! I got the bbq beef

Lunch specials are good. The food is yummy. The chicken katsu musubis are tasty and so is the spam musubis. I love the teriyaki beef burger. I have also tried the the chile verde burrito and it was delish. The short ribs are tasty and so is the mac salad. The Kalua pig is ok. The one I make is a lot better. I’ve tried other items and haven’t been disappointed. The owner doesn’t have much personality.

I really appreciate the dine-​in plates — lots of places like this give styrofoam anyway (what’s the point of asking). That being said, I’m not sure I can recommend the food or the service. The only perceptible difference between the lunch special and the regular combo is one piece of protein, but the price differential is several dollars. I think that’s a little off. Additionally, I didn’t have a great experience at the register. Oh well people have bad days, and who loves working the register? No one. But then the food was gross. The macaroni salad was so bland and the food so greasy. I got the crispy shrimp combo. I have a feeling that the Mexican food offerings might be better (isn’t this supposed to be a Hawaiian grill?) My friend who ordered the nachos was pretty happy. I’m unimpressed. No plans to go back. Sorry Aloha, best of luck to you.

I use to go here to eat a lot before I became pregnant and during pregnancy. At first the owner was nice to my family for the longest then when I became visibly pregnant the Asian male owner developed a stank attitude. What gives? Don’t know, I don’t go anymore much now.

Always good food, can’t go wrong here. Friendly service and nice people. Everything is cooked fresh and always good.

Worst I’ve tasted in a very long time. Gross for a lack of a better word… seriously, even my children threw out their plates.
I purchased meals on the way home from work. Once I got home, the meat was very very displeasing and the sides were just as bad. Would never go back.

Been here a couple of times, this time I try something out of their Mexican menu. This is a Hawaiian bbq/​Mexican food restaurant, very unique. I tried their carne asada nachos. Well they are not like Albertos or any of the other San Diego style Mexican food. The portion was a lot smaller but full of flavor. Crispy tortilla chips, grilled carne asada, fresh guacamole, pico de Gallo and sour cream. Plus that they give you the food in a real ceramic plate not styrofoam container if you dine in. One star off because there is a wait for your food to be ready, one cook and one cashier. Other than that, good Hawaiian Bbq as well, their Mac salad is a little different than other chain joints. Definitely will be returning soon.

Me and my boyfriend love this place. Their chicken combo is our favorite. The Bbq beef and the Bbq chicken burger is also really good. Definitely recommend this place

I have been going here for a while now and the food continues to be delicious. Prices are cheap and affordable. Definitely a meal that I would say is under priced.

I love the good size portions, and would recommend this place to family of friends. I usually order BBQ Chicken and it’s always made fresh and delicious !

Good food portions for the price since it seems to be a little cheaper than its competitors. The macaroni salad isn’t as good as the Hawaiian BBQ spots though.

Really good place to eat. But my food was kind of burnt but didn’t affect the food that much. New staff people are in here but aren’t authentic in the foods since they have Mexican music bumping in the kitchen. But what kitchen doesn’t have Mexicans working in the back now a days. But over all still good service and it was fairly quick. Thank you very much.

Foot place to rat

We were craving some Korean BBQ short ribs a few days ago and since I work in Rialto, I knew we’d have a hard time finding any that were good. Sad to say, I was right.
The short ribs had an odd taste to them. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it but they just tasted weird. I only took a few bites and I had to stop eating them. I’m usually not one to waste food but I couldn’t force myself to eat those ribs. I think those ribs had seen better days if you know what I mean.
The only reason they get 2 stars is because their lunch special comes with your choice of bbq chicken, katsu chicken, katsu fish, kalua pork, and a few other choices I can’t remember, a scoop of rice, a macaroni salad and a small drink for about $ 5 bucks.
My recommendation? Skip the ribs, and order the lunch special. The only difference between the whole order and the lunch special is an extra scoop of rice. Not worth it if you ask me.

Well let me start that my brothers live near this place and swear by it. I went to this place with my mom, her husband and my aunt i don’t know what they ordered something with ribbies and an appetizer of a spam Hawaiian roll, but i loved it. The portions where great and when i found out the price i was surprised at the great deal. i gave it a 4 because this is one of those places that i wish to try more.
