Went there this morning and had a carne asada burrito and a coke. This was the 2nd time I have been here the first was a couple of years ago for carne asada tacos. Was not impressed back then. Food was bland. Today I had to kill some time in the area and decided to give in another try. …I went about 9:40AM. burrito was nice and warm. I took a bite and again immediately knew nothing had changed. Meat had no flavor and was«tendony» I would take a bite and the meat would stretch and the burrito would start falling apart. Inside was cilantro, onions, meat and refried beans. The burrito was mostly refried beans. Even before I opened the wrapper I held it in my hand and it dropped on both sides of my hand. I did not finish my burrito and really wanted a refund. The last bite I took kind of grossed me out. I tasted that flavor you get when food is about to go bad or left out of fridge overnight I hot weather. I don’t think it was the beans… I think it was the meat or most likely the chopped onions had gone bad and we’re not fresh. Like I said did not ask for my money back .I just won’t go back.

Terrible customer service refused to return my money for food I didn’t get to eat. The guy with glasses is not friendly at all and should not be working with people

I used to love lenos. But after tonight, never again… I call in my order at 8:26 the kid who answers says can you be here in 5 mins I said uhm you’re closed? He said we close at 9. I’m like yeah thinking my food was going to be good. Wrong. It’s freaking cold, taste like crap and you can tell they just didn’t give a shit! They’ve lost a long time loyal customer… Never again

The food was good until I bit into the Red Chili Beef burrito and chewed a hard piece of plastic. I have no idea what the plastic broke off of, its disgusting to think about. I ordered food to go a little before they closed, the burrito was a decent size so I saved the rest for the next day. In the morning I went to finish, thats when I found the broken object. I was sick from the thought of what it could be, I didnt call the restaurant to complain, I figured what would they do? since I ordered the night before, too much time passed. I will never go there again, I have also warned family about what happened so they know not to risk eating food that could possibly be contaminated with foreign objects, cooked by careless people who don’t look at what their serving.

Disappointed with the shrimp burrito. It was basically eating batter. It was ALL batter, with small 3 cm chopped pieces of shrimp that were too fried to taste anything. I eat at leno’s often and I thought the standards were higher. It was truly unacceptable.

Just had a churizo and bean burrito from Lenos, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The tortillas, churizo and beans were all fresh, and extremely tasty! If you haven’t tried one yet, I highly recommend that you do

I went to this place on a whim today. I’d eaten here decades ago and remembered it had good Tacos. I ordered something off the menu and asked for cilantro and onions on top of the dish. When I got my food all I got was a plate full of onion for $ 11.00. Waitress at the counter was rude. They acted like they didn’t want my business. I guess they don’t service black women at their place cause I didn’t feel welcome at this establishment. I watched for an hour to see if any black persons patronize this place and none did. When I asked for salsa they said I had it all ready… and gave me a look not to ask again! The food was fucked up and I thew it out the window of my car. So Amapola here I come! At least they cook your food right and give good service!

When I’m craving mexican food, Leno’s is in my top 5. Leno’s never fails. Been coming here for the past 10+ years, never been disappointed. Generally order the Carne asada burrito, or carinitas, chips with a side of beans and rice. One day I’ll be adventurous and order something else. Best part is that they are about a mile down the road.

Food was pricey and flavorless then you have to pay full price on a re fill to wash down the boring food. I’ll never eat there again

I went to Lenos this past Sunday to order a menudo to go because they have good menudo however, when I got home I found that I had mostly juice and very little meat and hominy. The price is great but if they are starting to cut back on the menudo I’m going to have to start looking for another location or spend $ 12 on Juanita

Stopped by here after some friends recommended it. Was not disappointed. Grabbed the nachos deluxe with pork and green chile. They had beans, cheese sauce, pork/green chile, sour cream, guac sauce, cilantro, and pico de gallo. The chips are not freshly made, they taste like store bought and are a bit thin so be prepared for soggy nachos. The meat is pretty darned good, and the nachos are big enough to share.

Tried their carnitas, carne asada and fish tacos. They were really good compared to taco places around this region. Nachos and chili cheese fries were not impressive. I wound go back for tacos. Fish tacos for $ 1 on Fridays

With an hour to kill between a parent meeting at Colton High School, and the end of Football practice, I decided to handle some Leno’s. I haven’t been in here for a few years, and haven’t had their food since they catered a pre-football game dinner for the team last year. I immediately got hit up for spare change by some bum lurking around the outdoor eating area. I have plenty of change in my pocket, as I jingled it around. But not any«spare» change. This shit bothers me, I’m trying to enjoy a small meal, get the fuck away from me with that begging shit. He hit me up again AFTER I bought my food, and the Woman next to me as well. I just stared at him for a second, and went inside to avoid any more confrontation. I don’t feel like going to jail tonight. Ordered some Tacos and a Horchata. I also remember what I ordered last time I was there so I’ll include that, and the catering as well. The catering trays were pretty good. The Carne Asada doesn’t stand out as being very flavorful, but its not horrible. The rice & especially the beans were very good. The tortillas were standard. Last time I went I had a few Shrimp tacos, and a Shredded Beef taco dorado. I remember the Shrimp tacos being very good with a white sauce that complimented it well.(Don’t be nasty.) The Shredded Beef taco was good, but no better that any other deep-fried beef taco anywhere else. Today I had two Tacos de Tripas. They were quite tasty and crunchy. One of the better Tripas tacos in Colton. Maybe top 5. I had Cabeza and Lengua tacos as well. I’m reviewing them together because they were almost identical. Bland, mushmeat without texture that tasted exactly the same. I could tell they were different visually, but that’s it. Pass on these if I ever come back. The Carne Asada taco was the same as I remember. Nothing special. Its a good thing they dress these tacos up with a grip of pico de gallo and jalapeño slices, because that was all the flavor I could register. Pass. The Hot Sauce they offer here might as well be water. No heat, no flavor. My Horchata was very tasty, right amount of sweetness, not too much ice. Refills on Horchata are almost ALWAYS full price. But this place charges full price for ALL drink refills, and there are plenty of signs up to let you know it. I don’t blame them for that though. They are right next door to Colton High School, and I’m sure the kids loitering around would damn near put them out of business if they offered free refills. Its all good guys. The service was cool, the young Dude at the window was nice enough. The restaurant is clean, and the parking is accessable. You just cant eat outside by the sidewalk(like I wanted to.) with all the riff-raff walking around asking you to supplement whatever substance abuse problem they have by buying their food. I must mention that this place is VERY supportive of the community, and Colton High School as well. For that reason, I will try the Menudo, Chicharron, and Chile Relleno, and hopefully rereview with better results.

I’ve been eating here for over 20 years and over the years it’s gotten worse and worse! The service has gone down a bunch! the kids in the window argue about what I ordered or what comes on top of it, to top it off I ordered a potato taco for my daughter and as she was eating it a small bug crawled out of it! This use to be my favorite spot in Colton to eat and now I don’t think I’ll ever be eating there again

The younger dark skinny boy has a bad attitude!!! Made me and my friend feel uncomfortable. NO customer service !! Rolled his eyes at us and when my friend ordered a taco plate he talked to her like she was stupid and said«you mean a #1» like okay yeah whatever !!! We were going to say something about his rudeness when we were there but I though I’d just Unilocal it instead

Lenos has gone downhill big time!!! Went there on Sunday evening about 6:00 to order dinner for the family… big mistake. Ordered 4 combo burritos, and the cook forgot to add the meat. Called to complain about the burritos and the friendly cashier Jackie said no problem; she’d let the owner know and to come in next time and the burritos would be replaced. Went today and was told«THAT cashier doesn’t have the authority to make that decision» I should of brought the burritos back the same night. Easier said than done, I live in Redlands and its not a trip around the corner, that’s why I called. Words of advice… take your business to Amapola or El Taquito; Leno’s is a waste of your hard earned money!!!

Where the heck am I? Colton? I was in Bloomington Monday and Tuesday for some training and a co-worker who’s familiar with the area drove us to Leno’s Rico Taco for lunch. All the reviews are 4&5 stars and my co-workers seemed to have enjoyed their lunch but mine was just«meh» and I’ve definitely experienced had better. This is the true definition of hole in the wall. The menu and staff are behind a glass window and you order thru a little opening. I love al pastor so I ordered the al pastor burrito and a diet coke. Two of the guys ordered carne asada tacos and another guy ordered a torta and a hard shelled taco. There’s a good sized dining room adjacent to the ordering windows with booths and tables. My burrito was decent sized but wrapped poorly with one end blown out. The first half of my burrito was nothing but runny beans and GIANT chunks of raw onion. Every bite I took a waterfall of orange grease poured out of the bottom. By the end of my meal there was a lake of grease. When I finally did get to the al pastor is was tasty but so overcooked it was dry as a bone. Still… the al pastor was flavorful and would have been much more enjoyable in taco form. Bathroom is the tiniest thing I’ve ever seen. Took a lot of dexterity to close the door and use the toilet. The clientele was interesting too. There was a ZZ top bearded scary biker guy who spilled his drink and started yelling at the cashier that she needs to give him a cup to go since he had places to go and she needed to mop up his mess.
