I have really enjoyed this place. I will not eat sushi from other places because they do not compare to this restaurant! I gave 4 stars because they need to open in a bigger location. This place gets too packed and you often have to wait a long time to be seated.

My goodness, this place is so good ! I can come here every day of the week. Their sushi chefs really know what they are doing. I’ve never had a dull flavored roll, sushi or sashimi. You must try this place for you self! And trust me, you will be addicted!

This place is ok if you never had sushi. It reminded me of the 7⁄11 sushi. The rice was awful and the«spider roll» looked like something they just bought at the store and put spicy mayo on and gave to us. Gross! When they sat us at the bar the waitress cleaned the bar with a rag that had a VERYSTRONG bleach smell!.. YUCK I almost gaged, not a good look. It was very loud in there also maybe because of the loud lady laughing like a donkey. Not to sure. If you want GREATAMAZING sushi go visit Cabin sushi in Riverside 17 $ for lunch and 21 for dinner!!! Great place and sushi over at cabin sushi in riverside !!!

The sushi place is very amazing, any roll in here has a great taste, one of those sushi places that keeps the seafood fresh to the best and I love the scorpion roll, Philadelphia, John, tako roll and the dragon roll, oh so bomb I recommend for family, friends, and dates when you know that women is worth it to take, I usually start off my drinking some beers and get a great buzz before eating sushi, it is a compliment with it and it taste exquisite

OhQuick seating clean establishment friendly service. Not sure if they were talking about me everyone speaks Spanish and keeps looking at you minus the one star. Ayce sushi offered but not announced by my waitress but sushi chefs are nice. The food itself was decent personally I prefer the classic way it’s prepared but it was an interesting experience having it prepared Mexican style. The extra spiciness was good but the portion sizes were ridiculous and I didn’t get to try different things. Another star lost because they didn’t offer miso soup on the ayce and the portions of rolls were so large I was stuffed after round one ordering 4 salmon nigiri and the enormous serving of the Acapulco which I saw no lobster on.hmm. but in this area of San Bernardino I was lucky to find any sushi place I suppose. Went here after finals and I’m not sure I should have wasted my money here but hey I was desperate it’s good if your desperate for sushi and it’s the closest place. Annoyed the waitress never checked on me for the longeat time she did refill my water twice I flagged her down to get the check so don’t sit in the bar area.

Well, I’m sure that had I been ravenous I would have applauded the amount of rice that was in the rolls. but I was just a regular«it’s lunch time» type of hungry so the daunting amount of overcooked sushi rice that enveloped my sushi was unappetizing. I don’t know if it’s because it was lunch time and maybe the restaurant wasn’t used to a fast-paced turnaround, but the rice was so mushy I couldn’t see the singular grains. I know this is an odd thing to care about, but sushi rolls aren’t supposed to be 90% rice! On the bright side, the rice was seasoned well. Hmmmm the lighting was dim, so it was hard to completely appreciate the presentation of the food itself. They looked good from what I could tell, but I think they must have had an overripe bunch of avocados as the texture was a bit… slimy… and the color looked to be the dark green of guacamole that’s been out too long. The service was okay, I think they were understaffed — since one lady had to run around with trays of rice and miso soup — servicing groups of 4 – 6 people at a time. The other server seemed like she didn’t want to be there. I didn’t give the restaurant a 1 star because the groups of people who were having lunch didn’t seem to be having the same experience. I could just be really picky about sushi.

Love going here, my usual is a Jalapeño roll«Miguel Style» which means they put onions and chile sauce on top to finish it! Try it next time.

I can’t with this place. I should have known not to come when the words sushi and Miguel were in the same name. It’s like expecting authentic Mexican food and it’s called Ling Ling’s Mexican Food and there are only Asian people working there. Highly likely, it’s going to be far from authentic. In addition, there was a child working there. He was between 9 and 12 years old, setting up/cleaning off tables, bringing menus, serving drinks. If I’m not mistaken, that’s not legal. So we ordered a spicy pork lunch with fried rice and a California roll. The soup wasn’t good and it had«boogers» on the bowl(see pic). The spicy pork was decent but it was mostly onions and sauce and little actual pork. The California roll was all rice and lots of cucumber. Some pieces had 0 avocado even. The rice was so sticky that I choked on it at least 3 times and couldn’t swallow it without taking a drink. After my second piece I stopped trying to eat it BUT I’m a fat girl and I hate wasting food so I took it home anyway. So… I’ll leave with this; Miguel, I think you’d be more successful making Mexican or American food because the Japanese thing isn’t working for you ATALL.

Hot damn!!! Stopped by for lunch and had two pieces of the Spicy Tuna Sushi. It was out of this world! Also ordered the Fire Roll and… wait for it… it was super good!!! Stopped by for dinner with the gf and ordered the aforementioned once again. This time we added the Calimari Tempura, very tasty. Had the Acapulco roll, slightly different than the fire roll with some of the ingredients, without the spicy chipotle type sauce on the Fire Roll, very good anyway. This place is a must try!

If you’re looking for good sushi… DONOTGOHERE! The quality of the fish is gross and not fresh at all. The salmon is fatty and slimy. The tune is mushy. I’ve been here two times and I’ll never come back again. This last visit had, our rainbow roll was subpar and the tuna had some black shit on it.

I love to bring my friends, who’ve never been here and convert them to the Sushi Miguel Style. After you eat at Miguel’s, no other sushi restaurant will be good enough for you. Great food, good prices and the staff is wonderful & attentive. Estrella is the absolute best. Anybody who says different, is wrong.

I give this place five stars because they have amazing rolls, great service and good prices. On Monday and Tuesday all you can eat sushi is $ 19.99 all day. The salmon roll is my favorite. I love the sauce and the pickle onions they put on top. I also like the amazing roll. It has a variety of different fish. I’ve tried almost about everything and they all tasted good. I would recommend this place if anyone is in town looking for a good sushi shot.

Their food is amazing! But, at what cost? The customer service is very poor; you don’t get acknowledged when you walk in, phone orders are never finished on time, cashier is never happy to complete the transaction as if I’m interrupting her from doing something more important… and I might be, but who knows. I’m willing to pay more for great food, but I also value great customer service. If this place improved, Im willing to come by more often, until then… They probably won’t be getting too much if my business.

WAITRESS was really rude! Found a hair in our sushi roll, when we asked if it was going to be taken out of our check she responded rudely and said«sure it’ll come out of my check» she brought us the check walked away saying«karma is going to get you» as if we put the hair in the sushi. I have been here before and never had a problem, but this time was completely different.

I’m glad that I found this place. It will be my go to. I’ve tried many and when I say many I mean many sushi places out here. I’ve been to place from Moreno Valley, Riverside, Corona and they are all subpar. I stopped trying Sushi places because I couldn’t find something I liked so I would wait till I visited family to go to my spot in Valencia. I don’t have to wait anymore. I have a place out here and it’s only about 15 minutes from home. I loved the Acapulco Roll and my little loved the thin soba noodles. This is going to be a place I visit often.

First time going on 02−23−16. Sadly I will NOT be returning. The waittress lost my AYCE order so I waited an extra 45 minutes until I lost my patience and had to ask where it was. Then the sushi rolls they gave me were hella rushed. The rice itself was chewy and bland. No Rice Vinegar detected, it was like eating Costco brand sushi. Seriously. The cucumber slices were hella thick and the roll was 70% rice and 30% fish. Don’t even get me started on the freshness of the fish. I’m literally writing this review in the bathroom right now puking my guts out. Do yourself a favour and find a better spot. Might I recommend Joe’s Sushi or Asahi in riverside? TL;DR Prepare to wait a long time for subpar sushi. Forget this place.

Good prices, friendly atmosphere, but they use WAY too much rice on their rolls. I say give it a shot for yourself, maybe you can get them to use less rice. LOL!

I was hoping for more after reading reviews tbh… Other than the super nice chef at the bar, I can’t say I had the experience I was looking forward to. The Gyoza and spicy salmon by itself was good but everything else just wasn’t happening like it should be. The rolls that are deep fried are HUGE. I’m usually a fan of this but IMO the two I ordered were a bit overboard. The amount of fried breading with the portion of rice left me OVERLYSTUFFED making it kinda hard to check out other rolls trying to enjoy AYCE. First time I’ve ever had AYCE and ate only 2 rolls because the rice and fried portion were 90% of the roll. As far as service goes just a lack of urgency from the waitresses. Took almost 10 minutes to get my first refill(no exaggeration) and I had to ask twice. That just shouldn’t happen anywhere. I’m a stickler about refills! Overall I had a couple of things that weren’t too bad but I was a bit disappointed after seeing the 4 stars on Unilocal.
