Great haircut! I would definitely go back.

I have had my hair cut and colored by both Joye fowler and Joanna nevins, and had it styled by Laura Humphries. Everyone at this salon does a great job! They all are highly educated and are always learning new techniques. It is so welcoming and beautiful. I would recommend any one of the stylists here, Ashley’s alley is awesome.

My favorite hair stylist is Keri! I had a hair stylist (in Ohio) completely ruin my hair giving me two layers of hair at very different lengths, making it seem like I was wearing a wig on top of my hair, it was awful. But I thankfully decided to try out Ashley’s Alley and met Keri. She did an absolutely wonderful job on my hair! She blended my hair together so it no longer looked like I had a wig on top of my hair. Also she recommended me a hair growth vitamin to help my shorter hair grow back faster, and it actually worked! She does wonderful highlights as well! She also can curl hair and make you look like a supermodel. PS she also does hair at the VMAs and Fashion Week, which is awesome! GO TO HER!!!

This was my first time at Ashley’s alley. When I called, the owner was very polite and transferred me to a stylist after asking me about my hair type. The salon was beautifully decorated, and because I went on a Saturday it was very quiet. My appointment started about twenty minutes late, but my stylist, Gina, gave me a free deep conditioning treatment to compensate for the late start. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it and it looked great! I had about 8 inches cut off my hair, so needless to say I was nervous– but it turned out great. It was the first time I had been to Ashley’s alley, but I will continue to go! Also, Gina gave me a military discount– wonderful experience.

I am new to Columbia and went to Ashley’s Alley per the recommendation of a co-​worker. I saw Keri, and I’m so glad that I did. She took my seriously outdated hairstyle (if you could even call it that) and updated it with a fabulous new look. She asked questions and listened to my answers, but also used her professional knowledge and talent to make my hair look better than I thought possible. She also told me how she was styling it so that I can recreate the look at home. For once, I feel like I have a cute hairstyle that I can maintain until my next appointment!
The salon itself is beautiful. I was a little confused when I walked in and there was no receptionist. However, after watching people come in and out for a few minutes, I decided that the lack of a receptionist really worked well there. It felt more like clients were walking into someone’s living room rather than a hair salon. The artwork was gorgeous, if you’re into that sort of thing, and the location is perfect for anyone who lives or works in Columbia. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Efficient and clean – two things I appreciate in a good haircut. I went to Keri and had a wonderful experience. She was a seriously good hair stylist and did exactly what I asked her to, which I have found is harder than you’d think for a haircut. I have recommended her to my close friends and look forward to my next visit with her!
