McAlister’s Deli

The store itself is very clean and the majority of employees I’ve interacted with on 5+ visits have been very nice. The sandwiches and mac n cheese are very good! The only reason I would give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because I’ve had my order mixed up a couple times, but the staff corrected the problem as soon as I pointed it out and were friendly about it. Just make sure to check your food before leaving!

Staff was friendly, food was served fast. I would have rather the food taken a little longer and been hot.

If I could give less than one star, I would do it. The food was like a frozen food. Not fully cooked. I will not go back to this place again.

Tried to simply call and see what the soup of the day is and Lucas (?) some chick answered and hung up on us the first time and then was very rude the second time. Screw you buddy.

McAlister’s is an above average sandwich chain with casual atmosphere, friendly service and great tasting ice tea. I’ve been here a handful of times now and it has been great each time. Last time, I got an orange cranberry club with a broccoli cheese soup combo and my boyfriend got the sweet chipotle chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. He said his sandwich was the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. My sandwich was delicious although I wish it had a little bit more of that orange cranberry sauce on it! I love their broccoli cheese soup, but their other soups can be hit or miss I’ve noticed. Once, we tried their tortilla soup and it was good but way too spicy. Another time my boyfriend got their chicken and dumplings soup and it tasted like they dumped the pepper shaker in it. Otherwise, all the sandwiches have been awesome tasting. I have yet to try one of their giant spuds but I hear they are the perfect comfort food. Definitely the perfect place to go for a nice sit down lunch or when you feel like having a lighter meal.

Like I was saying, I think this is the best deli chain ever. I love their sandwiches, potatoes and ice tea! I use to only get the sandwiches but one day I got the combo that included a potato and salad and I was amazed! Great prices, great service and great food. Also they are wheelchair accessible and bring the food to your table.

The store is clean, location is great, staff is friendly and the iced tea is possibly addictive. But the food? My family of 4 stopped by during a Thursday dinner hour and had an overheated, rubbery baked potato, a salad full of frozen lettuce, a disappointing bowl of chili, and Mac & cheese that looked like it was time to toss. The place has a lot going for it, but the food is not one of them.

Excellent quality food, great atmosphere, good prices.

Fast service, nice and friendly staff. Food is always fantastic, especially the broccoli cheese soup.

I placed an order for a turkey sandwich and Mac and cheese for the side dish, and it took 23 minutes to get the order to my table. There have been times I have waited over half an hour for my meal. They claim to be fast casual, but the service is very slow. The Mac and cheese I had was dried and old. They didn’t come around and asked for a refill on my tea like they have in the past. McAlister’s Deli doesn’t seem to have the passion it used to have. Very disappointed.
