Had a pleasant experience here a few days ago. Went with a co-worker to make spring wreaths for our moms as a gift. They allowed us to use their classroom to put everything together and then pay after with our saved tags. An employee there, Ronda(I believe was her name), went out of her way to help us and very very nice! Even came to check on us a few times and helped locate items.

this review is strictly for the framing department. Went to the other locations but this one has the best staff. Beth is a rock star. she’s knowledgable, efficient and super helpful. Honestly would go there again without hesitation. They had my frame ready also well ahead of schedule. Thanks Michaels arts and crafts.

Not dog-friendly like it was last year. I had to make a quick return and was stopping by the petsmart across the road in the other shopping center, which is obviously pet friendly. So I decided to bring my dog with me assuming that both places were friendly — I got stopped by a Michael’s employee who told me dogs weren’t allowed inside even before I even made it in the doors. They should have signs posted up if dogs aren’t allowed at certain Michael’s. As mentioned before last year, I was able to go into the store no problem with my dog. I will never return to this Michael’s again just because I had to lock my dog in my hot car for approximately 10 mins just to make a return. What a bunch of jerks.

Don’t take any painting classes there. The instructors are great, however, when you pay $ 25 to $ 50 a class you don’t want to be stuck in the middle of the store. They uses their craft room for parties that get priority over the paying classes. It is awkward when you are set up trying to paint in the middle of the store and strangers are standing over your shoulder watching and offering opinions. They also doesn’t enforce your need to show up with the supplies required. Many show up without the proper supplies and the instructor is left taking their(and our) time trying to get those individuals set up. Other Michales are not like this. Fine for a free class. Ask for your money back if they do this to you.

I’ve shopped there twice, both times the customer service was horrible. The checkout line always seems to stretch to the middle of the store, then when you actually get to the counter they are super rude. The first time I put my hand-basket down on the counter and the cashier refused to ring anything up until I emptied the basket for him and then walked over to the door and put the basket away! Why don’t I just work the register too while I’m at it? The second time I got a lecture from the cashier because I said«credit» but then put used debit when it wasn’t clear on the pad how to get to credit. It’s not like she even had to do anything, because it still went through, so why is that now a big deal?

I like the actual store because it has a variety of crafting items. There’s always at least one coupon you can use here. There are a few people who work here that are very nice and helpful. That being said, there are plenty of annoyed or snobby cashiers. It would be nicer if they’d stop sighing every time I asked a question or if I wanted to use my phone to have them scan a coupon. How about not interrogating my husband and I when we want to use two credit cards to purchase items so we can use two coupons? We ARE two separate people!

I love this store! They have an endless supply of craft products. I could spend days looking at all the options. They have coupons all the time, and their prices aren’t too bad to begin with. They also have a little section up by the registers of seasonal things usually that are being sold really cheaply and I always get to leave with fourth of July themed cupcake holders or Christmas notepads etc. everyone that works there is pleasant as well.

Wonderful framing services. The attendant even spent 30 minutes helping my daughter tie slip knots for a necklace we had just purchased, even though the task had nothing to do with framing.
